We had a wonderfully relaxing break at the stunning Millington House recently. The property is immaculate, spacious and the views are amazing. Jessica came to our rescue when we discovered that we had been double booked on our original holiday a few weeks before and were left with nowhere to go. We were made to feel very welcome and comfortable. Every appliance that you could possibly need/want is at the property, lots of fluffy towels which were great for the hot tub which was well used by us each day after spectacular walks in the area. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the property and Jessica as a super hostess.

We all loved our stay at Millington House. It had everything we needed and was areal comfort away from home. The amount of space and rooms were brilliant for what we needed. The table size meant we could have some lovely meals together and socialise. The hot tub was fantastic even if the walk back to the house was freezing for those few metres. It was so warm and luxurious with the under floor heating and we all said how we would love to come back again.

Jessica and Hana were the perfect hosts, as were all staff at Thief Hall. Perfect venue for a perfect wedding, the little touches, food hampers, fires prepped, wedding gifts were outstanding. The cottage was outstanding! Plenty of great views from all angles and lovely to sit in the hot tub and admire the scenery. All the rooms were of superb quality making the stay exceptional for all.

We stayed as a group of girls celebrating a 50th birthday. It was absolutely amazing and everything you can think of is included in the cottages. Nothing is too much trouble and everyone was amazing helping make our stay very special. The celebration pack was superb. We will definitely be staying again.

We spent the weekend in Millington House with our family to celebrate our Golden Wedding. Jess and Phillip had gone to so much trouble to make our stay memorable. We were very happy and comfortable in Millington House. Amazing amount of quality kitchen ware and spacious dining area so our group of 14 could have a few bar-b-ques on the property Having said that Thief Hole is a good location for restaurants and central to lots of fabulous day trips. The setting is rural with views of hay fields ;bales, and sheep. A wonderful contrast for us . Left relaxed and hope to return someday Many thanks Best,

Friends and family attending our wedding stayed in the cottages and were absolutely blown away by the standard. Every need was catered for and the thoughtful, individual touches for each guest (including the dogs!) made everyone’s time here absolutely perfect!

The whole complex was booked for my wedding. We had 26 guests booked on site. All had an excellent time. The cottage was excellent, no issue was a problem to site staff and all enjoyed the cottage and have suggested that they may return for holidays in future. Great venue, very highly specified accommodation and fantastic location.

We love Thief hole cottages. Have stayed with different family members in all cottages for a few years now except the 1 bedroom properties.(it will happen!) All are clean, warm and immaculate with en-suite facilities to each bedroom a bonus. Lovely welcome pack, very friendly owners, good parking and great location for visiting North Yorkshire. Our favourite cottages around by far. Will definitely be returning in the future.

We stayed in 3 of the cottages for 2 nights as part of our wedding celebrations at a nearby venue. All cottages were beautifully furnished and finished to a very high standard. The welcome pack was fabulous and personalised based on our party which included children. Jessica from Thief Hole was on hand when needed and provided a lovely personal touch. Millington House was a perfect place for us. We were combining a short holiday and visiting relatives nearby. The house was spotlessly clean, spacious, and very well equipped. The beds were comfortable, and bathrooms excellent, with lots of lovely soft towels and products to try. The views from the terrace are beautiful, you can see the Dales and the Moors, and we were lucky to have some good weather so we enjoyed them whilst eating outside. The location is ideal for visiting Fountains Abbey, Harrogate, York, etc. We had a great time here.

After our tenth stay at Thief Hole Cottages this was our first time in Millington House. We always stayed in Swift Nick so we had to adjust our selfs for a few days.but we soon settled in. This place is perfect for our family get togethers. We are four couples, three toddlers and a baby and there is plenty of space for everyone. Baby things can easily be provided by Jessica, so packing is nice and easy! Grocery delivery arrived before we did and it was lovely to arrive to full cupboards. The place is also wheelchair friendly, which is vital for our family. We've stayed at Thiefhole three times now, and at this property twice - we'll definitely be back again.

We are a family of 7 and we enjoyed this place thoroughly for our easter break. - Location prime and close to grocery, townships for shopping. Theres a really cool weekend market with loads to buy and see. - large outdoor area for dogs, wine and relaxing. Amazing View. - Masterchef kitchen. Quality things you need/want is here. - large seating place for everyone for relaxing/dining. - rooms are spacious and everyone comes with a HUGE attached toilet. Cleanliness A+++. - even friendly for elderly as one room is wheelchair friendly.
We love the place so much we cant bear to leave!
