Lovely property and a very accommodating experience organising an early check-in.
Great pet-safe garden and a wonderful, convenient location.
Accommodation was as advertised, but a few issues that we would flag up to larger groups staying.
The bath having to be drained slowly was only flagged up after the booking. It didn't bother us, but pretty much eliminated it as an option during our stay as spending half an hour to carefully empty the tub wouldn't have eased the relaxation.
One toilet in the property had a very weak flush that couldn't deal with a few sheets of toilet roll. Not an issue for us as there were just two of us, but for larger families this could have been a major issue.
The staircase hand 'rope' attached to the wall was also loose on the upper floor. Didn't effect us as we didn't use the top bedroom, but if someone were to pull hard on it while climbing the stairs - potentially with luggage - that would be extremely dangerous.
There was also evidence of damp in the ceiling of the main living room. The property could do with a little more care and attention to render it a truly 5 start experience.

This is a beautiful, well maintained and a very high standard of fixtures, fittings and houseware.
Might be an issue if you are tall due to low ceilings/doorways and a very steep winding stairway. However that said when booking such an old property that should be expected. Wonderful stay here and in Deal. Its not lost its charm. Well done everyone.

We had a 3-night break with friends and the 4 of us thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cottage was clean and had everything we needed. The rooms were dark but we appreciated this was the traditional style, in keeping with its age. The stairs can be a bit awkward to negotiate if you are not too good on your feet (or have big feet).
The cottage is conveniently located for the beach (100 yards) and the town centre and there are plenty of pubs and restaurants to choose from. All in all, a very pleasant stay.
