We use this bungalow every year.... we wouldn't do so if there was any form of problem. Why can't the local council improve the roads?.
What an absolutely wonderful place to be. First impressions seem to be of a slightly run down garden but one which soon seems to magically transform into a beautiful little wildlife sanctuary. A lawn of meadow flowers; trees and bushes teeming with thrushes, blackbirds, sparrows and plenty of other birds. Inside is basic but clean and cosy. There were just a couple of downsides: the toilet door lock was broken and the hot water seemed to be either cold or scalding hot with not much more than a dribble of hot water coming from the kitchen tap. The shower was also a tad on the small side, ...more
Another great stay at Croft Caravan. Really feel that you get away from the hustle and bustle. Fantastic location, peaceful and quiet with extremely friendly owners
This was our second visit to The Byre. We really enjoy the comfortable, homely feel of The Byre which provides the ideal place to completely relax and change pace. We were originally booked for June but the Covid restrictions resulted in our booking being postponed to September. The customer care are support we experienced as we navigated our way through all of that was superb and friendly and gave us complete confidence that all would be well when we did finally get to use our booking.
Rudh Dubh is a really special place to stay. This was our 8th time and we will be back for more! The place speaks for itself - it's away from everything, and feels it. Our only issue is the fridge and oven are really small but there's space for bigger ones, which is a challenge if you want to cook nice meals for a week.
We loved staying here - it was in a perfect location - near two beautiful bays and we didn't have to go very far to see amazing views. Beautiful sunsets and very quiet too. the bungalow itself was clean, well-equipped and had everything that we needed to make our stay so perfect.
Our favourite house to stay, like a home from home. Has everything you need, well looked after. Ive never known hanging out washing to be so enjoyable hearing the birds, sheep n cows, surrounded by green fields, mountains and the smell of the sea. An amazing place, love the house, and will be back again next year.
Strathconon is a bright, spacious cabin with terrific views. The new carpets, sofas and smart TV with good WI-FI all made for a comfortable stay. We loved falling asleep to the sounds of the cuckoo on the tree outside, eating seafood from the Tobermory Fish Company on the terrace in the evening sun, the Taster Menu at Mingary Castle and the views of Ben Hiant whilst washing the dishes. Only one quibble is the water flow in the shower is a bit low. All in all, great service from Steading Holidays and we have already booked for next year.
This is the 3rd time we have stopped in Ardvaig, and it really is lovely. It might not be the most up to date interior but there is everything you need in the house during your stay. And anyway, who needs to worry about decor when you have the fantastic view down the sound of Mull. The window is such a selling point to this property, along with its location. Straight down onto the pebbly beach, a stones throw from the shop and only a few miles from Sanna. We absolutely love the area and cannot wait to be back next year! Thank you to the new owners of ardnamurchan escapes for a seamless takeove...more
Three of us had a great stay at Ian’s Lodge in June. In an ideal detached location with views over the coast on one side and wild moorland on the other we had a peaceful stay. Surrounded by wildlife we were visited by lots of birds including goldfinch and hooded crows and animals such as hedgehogs. The land around was covered in marsh orchids! Local amenities such as village shop, coast and ferry to Mull easily accessible by foot. The lodge was fully equipped with cooking utensils, toaster, duvets, pillows etc and even had books and dvds. The owner, Shane, was easy to talk too and I woul...more
Jack's ranch wad a great place to stay I an unspoilt area. Well equipped and comfortable, with local shop. Ferry to mull and boat trips to staffa.
