This pretty little detached cottage certainly has kerb appeal. Set in the grounds of the historical Plas Gwyn Estate this fabulous grade II listed cottage dating back to the 1700's, all on one level is a dream! Surrounded by the grounds of this sporting estate and woodlands, you will feel like you are miles from anywhere or anyone

We spent a wonderful 3 days in the cottage, which is conveniently located to explore Anglesey and the surrounding areas. Easy access to some beautiful beaches and countryside for the cyclists in the party. The cottage had everything we needed for our stay, comfortable beds, log burner and outdoor seating and off street parking. The kitchen is particularly well equipped which was great for us to cook an evening meal for 4. I would highly recommend Beaumaris Lodge and look forward to returning in the future.

The pretty cottage is perfectly located for exploring the surrounding area.
It is tastefully decorated and well equipped with everything you need. We really enjoyed the beautiful terrace, listened the birds singing and watched the sunsets. And what a lovely surprise: we were greeted with a cake.

Cottage was easy to find with directions provided and everything was clean on arrival with coffee, tea and cake a welcome touch. Good stocks of equipment in the kitchen and the logs for the log burner were welcome on the first couple of nights.

Beaumaris Cottage was an ideal place for rest and relaxation. Very comfortable beds and great water pressure. Well equipped kitchen, comfortable lounge area and relaxing outdoor area. Very good Wi-Fi connection. Located in a quiet, country setting but near to major attractions. Located near Red Squirrel Woodland tracks which is a great walk, including beautiful views over the countryside and coastline.

Lovely cottage, roomier than the photos, in a beautiful location, very peaceful great for exploring. Very clean, great parking. Had a lovely Victoria sponge ready on arrival and some milk in the fridge. One slight downside no hand soap provided or washing up liquid/dishwasher tablets but well stocked shop just down the road. Would definitely stay again.

Beaumaris Lodge is a wonderful place to stay. Completely self-contained, well-equipped and set in a lovely location overlooking fields and woods but with easy access to Pentraeth and beyond. Nothing more to say except - brilliant!

This small cottage provided a brilliant get away for my husband and me. It had everything we needed, a good base for walking or just chilling out on the sun terrace. The sun shone from a cloudless sky on every day except one! Would stay there again.

Beaumaris Lodge is in a good location with easy access to good roads to all parts of Anglesey and to the main A55 across from the mainland. Some covid restrictions were still in operation for Wales when we stayed there and the pubs and restaurants were subject to limited numbers and booking for meals and so we were not able to enjoy the range of excellent eateries on the island that we would have liked. However, the large Spar shop which is part of the fuel station just up the road is so convenient and has some really good offerings including Deli and good fresh cooked ready meals which we enjoyed in the peace and tranquility of Beaumaris Lodge.The Lodge is of excellent quality beyond that of many holiday cottages we have stayed at and has all the facilities that we wanted. Wifi broadband is good and for rainy days, television is linked to Netflix.

We stayed at the lodge for a week in August. There are plenty of things to do ,and locations to visit ,in this area including a great selection of beaches. The towns of Beaumaris, and Menai Straits are close by with a good selection of restaurants, galleries And shops.

If you like walking ,or have a dog ,then the woods opposite the lodge are ideal and offer a variety of tracks and pathways including a route down to the beach.

Benllech beach, which is close by , is ideal for children to build sandcastles and swim in the sea or to take long dog walks.

Red wharf bay offers two restaurants and spectacular views in the evening or chilled outside lunches.

The lodge backs onto a field with a range of wildlife including hares, rabbits, squirrels and pheasants, but also benefits from having a secure Garden area.

We would highly recommend this property.

we got there sat,we left on the monday,we had very little heating,it was supposed to be self explanatory ,we sre 76 -71, we spent sunday afternoon trying to get it on,failed miserably ,the wifi was none existent ,the tv just pixelated ,thing is it ket itself down a fantastic place incredibly clean,lovley location,but we were incredibly cold ,we could not use the log burner because my husband gets chest infections from smoke

My husband, daughter, our little Schnoodle Daisy and I had a lovely stay at Beaumaris Lodge. The cottage was extremely comfortable and had everything we needed in a “home from home”. The welcome cake was a lovely surprise as was the other supplies left for us in the fridge (fresh milk, eggs etc)
We had a wonderful week exploring Anglesey and spent relaxing evenings on the decking in the sunshine after dinner. We all agreed Beaumaris Lodge gets a massive “thumbs up” !

A beautiful cottage set in a stunning location. A great welcome of provisions (tea coffee milk and eggs) . Also a lovely cake! The place to go for peace and quiet but with plenty to see and a short drive away. Anglesey is a beautiful island.
Lots of lovely eateries around would recommend the pier cafe in Beaumaris for a fantastic service with a smile and wonderful food for any meal if the day.
