I went on a retreat day which was absolutely fabulous. The grounds and facilities were outstanding.

We booked to stay in a bell tent as it was quite a distance to go for just the day. I know its glamping but for the price i was expecting a little more. Firstly there were 4 tents situated very close to each other. I thought having 22 acres they would have been spaced out more giving everyone a little more privacy and space to themselves. The tents were ok inside, nothing special. Even though the weather was warm the bedding provided was very thin and we got very cold in the night.

Don't get me wrong this place is very nice and maybe a younger couple would have done much better in the tent. If we go again I think we will go for a little more luxury and book a cabin or treehouse.

Lovely location, good clean facilities, nice pool, beautiful lake, comfortable beds, good sized tent. Tents are a little too close together, the communal areas are lovely but wasnt space to sit outside the tent. It was nice to have plates, cutlery and cooking facilities provided but not all guests properly cleaned up after themselves. Food at the cafe was very nice but a little overpriced.

We had a wonderful time at West Lexham. The bell tent was beautiful, food was delicious and staff were friendly and helpful. Enough to keep the children (14&10) entertained: swimming pool, swimming in the lake, rowing on the lake, badminton, board games. We will definitely be returning.

A very pleasant surprise. West Lexham was absolutely perfect, stayed in a cosy bell tent with our little doggy (that loved it more than us I think), staff was super friendly, relaxed, food was excellent and felt healthy and earthy, beautiful facilities, played a bit of badminton, met otger guests by the fire every night, went to lovely beaches during the day. A dream place overall. We'll be back

I was holding a 1:1 client intensive here at West Lexham. The venue itself is just incredible - BUT it was the service & kindness that was shown to my client & myself that was utterly beyond words I can write here. They were kind, sensitive & thoughtful. The food was INCREDIBLE!

I would HIGHLY recommend a visit here if you can and will be bringing more clients back to nourish & feed them with nature & love

We had a wonderful stay despite the weather and we are all keen to return. The tent does get chilly at night but the beds and hot water bottles kept us plenty warm enough. The kitchen is lovely, we made pizzas one night and it was a great central hub. The bathrooms were also amazing. A useful addition would be a drying room as anything that got wet remained wet during our stay! The tennis court could do with a resurface at some point and the addition of some more outdoor games would be great - maybe a croquet lawn and giant Jenga? You could also create a treasure hunt for guests to do, or create a list of things to do during the stay like the NT have - eg. Go stargazing, row a boat, search for bugs... Sadly the pool was closed during our stay but that certainly didn't detract from our enjoyment and if the weather is better next time I definitely want to try a river swim. Overall, absolutely loved it and would certainly recommend. My son didn't want to leave!!!

Lovely bell tent in magical grounds. We swam in the lake, barbecued under the fairy lights and made pizzas in the pizza oven. Beautiful place. We’ll be back soon!

Great location stunning views, our first attempt at camping at the age of 67yrs old & found it was a great experience especially in these presentation circumstances. We were here for my sons 40th birthday & as celebrations are restricted at the moment felt this was a safe environment to be with members of our family & celebrate safely. The gardens are lovely and was pleased to have found the Japanese Garden which is fabulous and worth seeing, and the grandchildren loved swimming & rowing on the lake.
Thank you to all the staff who work hard in the back ground cleaning & keeping the place spic & span.
All in all a successful break/celebration held in a great place.

Loved everything about this location. We have done Glamping in various locations and all decided this was our favourite and will definitely be returning. Only one thing to remember...bring warm bed clothes, the nights get chilly but they do provide hot water bottles for you to fill.

What a lovely return stay at this gorgeous glamping site. The bathrooms and hot showers were fab, especially after our daily bracing fresh swims in the private river. The open kitchen works brilliantly. Thanks to the staff.

We had a fabulous couple of nights in Lime Grove Bell Tent. A beautiful place to stay. Everything is laid out beautifully, with a real rustic charm. The bathroom/ shower facilities were spotlessly clean and the outdoor kitchen had everything you could need.
The grounds are extremely well kept and we had great fun wild swimming and rowing the boats.

This is a gorgeous find. We wouldn’t hesitate to return and to recommend to others. It’s peaceful, well laid out, extremely clean and has everything you could need for a wonderful stay. Having your own mini BBQ and table/ stools was great. The boys loved roasting their marshmallows!

Overall very happy with the stay, great for kids.
The large group for a wedding did however put a strain on the kitchen resources, fridge space etc. and they did remove items from the kitchen which made it difficult to prepare dinner in one of the evenings.
Showers were erratic and three were out of order.
Ian was a great help and we still really enjoyed ourselves despite these blips. We will return.
