Our group of 12 hens stayed in Littonfields Barn over a weekend in May. The barn was really thoughtfully equipped and well presented throughout. The beds were comfortable and the en suite bathrooms helpful. The space outside with a large table and chairs in was a real sun trap and ideal for early evening drinks! The hosts were very accommodating, even unpacking our food shop when a car breakdown meant our arrival was delayed.
There was so much to do in the local area including a beautiful walk through Cresswell Dale from the barn door.
We highly recommend this barn for a large group and look forward to another excuse to return!

Lovely venue for a family gathering. Well equipped and spacious. Games room a plus as well. This was our second family celebration held here.

We stayed here for 2 nights for my mum's 75th along with my brother and his family as well as our family.

Accomodation was very well located for the Peaks and was clean, spacious and lovely and warm which really did pelase my mum and dad!

The accomodation has great amenities and the games room was a real bonus. There is lovely pub in the village and The Merchants Arms in Tideswell (5 mins in the car) was absolutely superb for food - excellent Sunday Lunch!

The owners were helpful and let us get on with it.

Lots of lovely walks either in the village or in the peaks.

We will definitely return!

This was our third time staying at Littonfields Barn and it was just as good as we remembered from previous visits!

As two families with 6 older teenage/young adult children between us, the room configurations work really well and it's great that every room is en-suite. We love the huge lounge, which has more than enough seating for everyone to sprawl out, and having the separate games room works brilliantly. All the rooms are warm and comfortable, the kitchen is well-equipped, and there's always plenty of hot water. In the hallway downstairs there are loads of coat hooks and plenty of space to leave muddy boots.

Litton is a lovely village, with lots of great walks direct from the barn, or within easy driving distance. The village shop is well stocked and very friendly. We haven't tried the pub but can highly recommend the fish and chip shop in Stoney Middleton.

Bridget is a friendly and welcoming host and communication is very straightforward. We love it so much that we've already booked our fourth stay!

We absolutely loved our cottage. We were very impressed with the communication right from the start and once we arrived we realised how amazing the cottage was. So spacious, but cosy and had everything we needed. Had great walks from the back door and a games room that kept us entertained. We’d love to come back to try the barbecue in Summer!

My family and I spent a wonderful few days over Christmas at Littonfileds Barns. It was everything we expected and more.

Easy walk to the pub and village shop.
