Dalraddy Holiday Park was established in 1968. It covers 39 hectares of what was originally heather moor land. The park currently contains 82 fully serviced traditional static holiday caravans, 6 fully serviced wooden chalet style caravans, 67 fully serviced wooden chalets, 36 pitches for touring caravans and facilities for up to 50 tents making us one of the largest caravan and camping sites in the area. The park also sells static caravans and chalets and acts as a letting service for owners that includes cleaning.
Services on the park include a licensed shop; which provides a retail outlet for estate produce, acts as a booking agent for activities and has a computer with free Wi-Fi. There is also a launderette, children's play park and a recently refurbished central toilet block with under- floor heating.
There are an array of activities to enjoy which are available on the Alvie and Dalraddy estate such as Quad biking,1.5 km zip wire course, horse riding, fishing, gorge walking, paintball, bush craft survival courses, clay pigeon shooting, archery and stag feeding. You can even learn about the environment and history of the estate by enjoying a guided tour .
Chalet 57 was situated lovely quiet area of the park. The chalet was lovely with so many extras supplied by owners for use including bikes in shed. Kids made use of these during our stay. Lovely decked area with outside seating & gas bbq. Would highly recommend and would be sure to book again. Location is ideal for Aviemore & surrounding area. Lots of activities to do on site. Staff very friendly and helpful.
We have stayed at Dalraddy many times, in tents and Campervan’s and this was the first year staying in one of their static caravans.
The van was really clean and in a lovely quiet pitch with lots of local wildlife to keep us entertained.
We will definitely be back.
The site, activities and team are all first class!
We really enjoyed our stay in chalet 29. Everything you could hope for in a holiday home. Comfortable, warm and well equipped. Obvious things were spotless but, we did have some niggles about cleanliness. Dirty oven racks, soap scum on bath/ shower surround, grubby table tops and frozen food left in freezer compartment. Not much in the way of cleaning materials. None of this spoilt our holiday, but just thought you should know and sorry if it sounds petty.
We had a great week at Dalraddy park chalet 31. The walks in the direct area are great, and coming home to a sauna and bubble bath is a great way to end your day.
Extremely helpful and friendly.
Site activities were excellent. Particulary enjoyed walking through woods see pictures of amimals and characters. Grand children loved play park. Great having hor food caravan on site.
Lovely, quiet campsite with very clean facilities. You feel like you are in the middle of a forest. Price was good value for money too. Will be returning next year.
Dalraddy is a good park with lovely walks, on site activities and food van. Great base to explore the area. Close to Loch Inch and Highland Wildlifr Park. Good sized pitch
Fantastic site. The staff were very helpful. I arrived early and it was ok to go set camp up. Had the perfect spot close to toilets and showers. Lots of things to do. Not far from town. Can't wait to go back next year
Chalet 24 was in a good location and was in good condition the only downside there was 6 adults sharing 1bathroom which wasn’t ideal we have stayed at Dalraddy previously but each time the chalets had an en-suite which we would look for in booking again
We stayed for 5 nights in July 2022.
The staff are so helpful
There are food trucks on site (a massive bonus with the national heatwave on the Monday/Tuesday)
The food was amazing
So many activities on site
So much to do near by
Plenty of space
Quiet between 10pm & 8am
Huge site with stunning views if you walk around a bit
Would definitely go again, often
This was a great chalet, had all that we required for a great week with the dog, a key reason for choosing it. The sun lounge is exactly that, cosy and a great space for enjoying the views or reading a book. Had a long lead for the dog and he enjoyed lazing out side when we weren't out exploring. Centrally located on the park which has great walks. Would highly recommend! Another good reason to go is Alvie Forest foods, located at the entrance to the park, amazing hot food!
Chalet 56 was perfect for our family of 2 adults, 2 children and a dog.
Everything around the Dalraddy site is well maintained and all the staff we saw were friendly and helpful.
The chalet has a spacious living room and well equipped kitchen, both lovely and bright.
The bed in the master bedroom was very uncomfortable, perhaps collapsed springs on the mattress. The en-suite had a nice powerful shower and the main bathroom has a bath.
This was a lovely family base for the week.
