The cottage was immaculately clean and well equipped with cosy loving space and a lovely garden. It’s in a great location close to the coast and the South Downs. The cottage is attached to the owners home and they strike a lovely balance between being welcoming and discrete. We very much enjoyed our stay and I would recommend both the cottage and the location.
We hired this gorgeous house for my mum’s 80th birthday surprise family gathering! The house is lovely, spotless and well looked after! Attention to detail is great and we all felt really at home there as so comfortable. We even had all the family including my mum and grandchildren playing “knowledge is power” on the PS4, which was so much fun! Even our little doggie had a lovely time. We enjoyed it so much so, that would definitely stay there again! Location is great as only a 10 minute walk to the beach and a 5 minute walk to the shops and high street. Thank you for helping us make gre...more
Our stay at Jubilee House was perfect and there was nothing to find fault with. The house was beautifully presented, clean, homely and welcoming. The garden was lovely and was a lovely place to sit and for the children to play in. This was the best holiday let we've ever stayed in!
We cannot recommend this place enough. Brilliant accomodation, thoughtful touches & friendly owner .
We really loved this place, staying for two weeks at the beginning of September. The house itself is nicely designed and stylishly fitted with everything you need. There are lovely views of the garden, fields and woods from pretty much every window. The patio in front of the house is very relaxing and gets the afternoon sun above the trees. The facilities for the energetic are amazing - swimming (great pool), trampolining, football, table tennis and even a small pool/snooker table. The Wi-Fi works well. Then there's the woods at the back where children will happily spend hours exploring and bu...more
Wonderful large and tasteful house on one floor. Lots of space and excellent facilities. 15 minute walk to sensational beach. Wonderful walks close by. Highly recommended.
We had a delightful 4-night stay at Daisy Byre. Very comfortable cottage, clean and modern, with everything you need for an enjoyable, relaxing break. We received a very warm welcome from the owners and were made to feel at home right from the start. Lovely hospitality by all, including the staff working on the adjacent farm. The complimentary passes to the farm were a bonus (as was a delightful evening in the theatre located on the farm watching a production of 'The Wind in the Willows'). A thoroughly enjoyable stay. The village of Wisborough Green and the surrounding West Sussex area has ...more
The cottage was well appointed and well equipped and felt very safe in these COVID times. The owners were very welcoming but not intrusive in any way. A great location for walking both straight from the door and also access onto the South Downs only a short drive away. The welcome 'hamper' of food was a lovely touch and much appreciated.
We loved our stay in Rye, and Cinque Port View was perfect in every way. Beautifully decorated, very clean and comfortable and every detail had been thought about, especially for those staying with a baby as we were. Thank you!
Beautiful straw house in a beautiful surrounding. Our dog loved it walks are amazing. Spent Christmas week here would highly recommended it. The owners are lovely very helpfully. It is a working farm and if you ask the owners you can look around the farm. Would love to visit. Again.
Warm welcome on arrival with fresh homemade cakes on the table in the kitchen. The owners and staff were very kind and helpful throughout my stay. Plenty to do and see and well located for visits out. I definitely want to go back it’s such a good place to be. Many thanks to Mandy persuading me to see the animals even though I had my dog with me, just loved it. Thank you everyone.
I spent two weeks at Church Cottage with my son and we had a very enjoyable experience. The property is conveniently situated, in a quiet street, near the station, a local Tesco and a large Waitrose. The Pier is also a short walk away, through the town, and once there you can go West towards Goring or East towards Hove. We did not drive but we were offered Parking vouchers so that side of your holiday would be taken care of as well, should you bring your own car. The little patio is a sun trap, with greenery and a lovely view of the local church. The property is well equipped and very clean...more
The House is very clean and great equipped, except for a stove there is everything you need to feel comfortable. The Landlords are very nice. I highly recommend this property.
We have stayed in some very nice cottages in great locations, but Mill Barn beats them all. It is great for walking being on the common. The owner Penny ensured that the cottage was spotlessly clean with flowers and a lovely basket of fresh fruit & a bottle of chilled wine which we had that evening relaxing in the garden. The area is good for seeing the night sky and stars and we were lucky enough to have a couple of cloudless nights to see them and the Milky Way. For sure we will book for next year and hope to be as lucky with the weather.
The house was perfect for our family of four, with two children under 5. Spacious, well equipped and - in February - nice and warm. All modern conveniences available. Very scenic views and walks available from the front door. Also very well positioned to explore the South Downs Park, including several trips to the seaside. Would certainly recommend to others and we may even return ourselves.
We consider this “our” house. Having stayed there before and planning on coming back. The best contact with the owner. He provided very useful information on the surroundings. What to write about a perfect stay? If you like staying in a beautiful little city, being quite close to a pub this is the place for you.
Excellent cottage.very clean and every thing you would need. The whole of cottage had all comfortable furniture and a welcome feel. The area was perfect for traveling to other places .local pub next door did a good meal if needed. The owner len was very helpful when needed.would certainly visit again. Rosemary and peter lannie.
Northash is a truly wonderful cottage in a great location. It sits in the grounds alongside the owners main house. Very modern and superb decoration, and feels like ‘home from home’. The cottage is light and airy and the Juliette window in the garden provides a great view over the garden. Every facility/amenity you can think of is catered for in the cottage. Hosts were very courteous and mindful of COVID. I would encourage anyone looking to stay in West Sussex to give Northash a try, you will ‘love it’
The stay at Oakwood was outstanding. The owners had thought of absolutely everything to make our stay perfect. There were 10 of us as a family ranging from 29 years old to 71 and it met everything’s holiday needs. The location was perfect, only a 20 minute stroll into the village where all the local shops, cafes and pubs were including a supermarket. The house itself gave us all enough room to not feel on top of each other. The outside space was fantastic including the several outdoor eating areas which made the most of the amazing sunrise and sunset and views over the South Downs. The poo...more
This is a lovely cottage. Much thought has gone into making a newish build look 300years old. Clever quirky bits inside and out, even in the brickwork. It showed the thoughtfulness of the owners even as they were renovating. There are mod cons where you want them in the kitchen and bathroom, but they were tastefully done to fit the building. Beds were very comfortable. Heather was very friendly and attentive to our needs even though Roger was very ill. The courtyard planting encouraged butterflies. There were wrens just outside the window, and a cleverly placed mirror meant I coul...more
The reading rooms combined history with comfort & modern facilities. The rooms are an excellent size. Wisborough Green is a lovely village with all you need on your doorstop (church, pub, shop, tea rooms). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would certainly stay again.
Beautiful location and property. 20 minute walk through peaceful countryside to reach the Griffin pub..really good pint of Sussex ale. The owners were very welcoming and helpful and gave us some good pointers. We went to Burling Gap on their recommendation and as a family who aren’t keen on crowds, really enjoyed this part of the coast. My family and i found this property very relaxing to stay in and would definitely stay again.
Possibly the best presented and equipped cottage we have stayed in in over 20 years of cottage hols.
We have stayed in many cottages up and down the country and Owl Cottage is probably the best equipped and comfortable and well situated, and certainly had the best stocked welcome 'pack' of all.
Lovely spacious accommodation in a quiet location attached to owners house. One mile walk across the fields to Ditchling village. With two pubs and tea shops serving good quality food. 20 minutes walk from the house on to the South Downs bridle way with views to Brighton and Lewes. On the last night we spent the evening watching the sunset on top of the downs, stunning. Thanks to Chris & Eileen for making us welcome and the treats.
We had a relaxing stay and enjoyed the South Downs a lot. The perfect holiday accommodation for 5 nights. Super clean throughout!
My first visit to the New Forest and was extremely pleased with the location of this property. Easy access to all areas. The property itself was really comfortable and lacked nothing that I required. I would definitely stay here again if I return to the area The owners were very welcoming and always available if required but otherwise kept their distance. Exactly as I like it. Plenty of walks directly from the property too 10/10 from me
We enjoyed a very comfortable week staying in The Barn (don't let the name put you off) despite the unsettled weather. This is first class self-catering accommodation in every respect and we consider ourselves very fortunate to have had the opportunity to spend our post-lockdown holiday based there. Highly recommended.
Lovely cottage with all amenities provided. Excellent location with easy access to coast, towns and local attractions. Village within walking distance, with shop and three pubs, all serving food. Owners very helpful and always available if required.
Great little property that was not very little. Whilst only set up for two, with just the one bedroom, there was plenty of room for us and it felt almost spacious. Very tastefully fitted out with decent quality furniture and an excellent bed. Pippa was a delightful host and made us very welcome. Location good in a lovely part of the country. We had a great week.
This is a superbly comfortable, attractive, and well-equipped place to stay, with a smart kitchen area and a very comfortable big bed. It's quiet, private, self-contained, but with a generous and thoughtful owner close by. Within a few minute's walk you can be climbing the beautiful slope of the Downs to Kithurst or Chantry Hill, and yet you also have good food shops and services within easy reach. That's a rare and luxurious combination.
Lovely neat comfortable cottage. Adjacent owners helpful but not obtrusive. A quiet hideaway location with great walks from the door. No local facilities, but walk to pub across fields possible.
First time booking with Amberly House Cottages, excellent communication from the first contact with regular updates through the COVID crisis and as we neared the time of our holiday, this gave us great confidence. We had read the many positive reviews for Woodland Cottage, we were looking forward to our stay and we were not disappointed. Lucie and David were excellent hosts, friendly and attentive without being intrusive. There has been an issue with a recent water leak, despite this the property was really well presented, clean and well equipped, just a shame for the owners that they now h...more
An excellent barn conversion with stunning views over the countryside. Really comfortable, cosy cottage with everything you could need and furnished to a very high standard. Owners Carol & Peter provide a warm welcome and are very helpful. As birdwatchers we loved it, we seemed to see more wildlife from the cottage than we did at the nearby RSPB reserve. Location is great with lots to do nearby both in good and bad weather. Lovely village setting with a good local shop, tearooms and pub. Will definitely be returning.
Would have no hesitation in recommending a stay at The Old Surgery. Apart from first class accommodation in the heart of the village, guests have access to the owners lovely secluded garden with summer house.
We had an amazing stay at The White House. The location is amazing with dog walks on the doorstep and only a short drive to the seaside. Could do with a visitors book as recommendations of local walks and restaurants are always good to see. Also a place to write any suggestions to the owner.
Fantastic Cottage with spectacular views! Very well equipped, beds are super comfortable. The photos do not so the cottage justice. Central location for exploring the South Downs, minutes from the Downs Link for cycling and walks.
Very lovely location and very welcoming and helpful hosts. Arrangements under the current situation very comprehensive and re-assuring.
Very stylish house, great interior, design bathrooms, very clean and in a superb location right across the Arundel castle site.
The cottage is in an amazing location with such a spectacular view from the living room couch! The property had everything we needed for a short stay and was very clean and well laid-out. The owner was super friendly and helpful and made sure we felt at home in the cottage. Even though the cottage is in the middle of beautiful countryside with incredible views, it is still easy to access with it only being a couple of miles up wide country lanes from the A27. Arundel is a short drive away and has plenty to see and do, including Arundel cathedral and castle which I would highly recommend visiti...more
Perfect location for exploring the South Downs and surrounding south coast. We enjoyed super weather and visited Chichester, Midhurst and the Wittering beaches. We enjoyed afternoon tea at Amberley Castle near Arundel. Fernhurst village is a good base with shops and a good pub featuring super beer garden and excellent food. We felt covid safe at all the places we visited.
We thoroughly enjoyed our relaxing stay in this lovely house. Well equipped, super clean and very comfortable. Excellent position for all that Rye has to offer, there is even a takeaway coffee shop next door and a fantastic fish and chip shop just across the road.
Can't fault this property on any level. Beautiful setting with gentle walks on the doorstep and longer treks only a short drive away. The apartment is tastefully but minimally decorated with totally functional fixtures and fittings. Being able to use the swimming pool was a real bonus. The owners were exceptionally thoughtful and generous and made us feel welcome and relaxed.
We loved almost everything about our Christmas stay at this beautiful lodge. It was the cleanest we think we have ever stayed in, there are some beautiful touches that make you feel very comfortable and we would highly recommend. (These two very small things should be known to future bookers - consider carefully if you need reliable WiFi (we had to reboot the router regularly and couldn’t get WiFi downstairs in the bedrooms) and be aware that the owner is overlooking you (mainly in the main bedroom and the lounge) as the property is attached to the main house through quite a thin connecting do...more
We had a lovely week at the Clearing, which is a beautifully furnished and very comfortable holiday let. We were looking for some peace and quiet, and a home that was well placed for some long walks in the country, including the South Downs Way. This location delivered very well, with walks straight out of the front door. We had one issue during our stay, which was the warmth of the bedroom, and the owners were proactive and helpful in advising us on a fix. The apartment is on the owners property, which means they are on hand if there are any problems, but were otherwise very discreet, also pr...more
This is an exceptional property converted from a large 19C granary. There are three spacious en-suite bedrooms with the most comfortable king or super-king size beds you could ever wish for, as well as a huge lounge and kitchen. A large grassed area in the front is good for relaxing or games; we enjoyed playing pétanque on the gravel. On the other side of the granary is a stylish, well kept courtyard in which is located a gluten free bakery. The courtyard is private and on the far side is Nick & Grail’s farmhouse. Grail came to see us in the evening and brought some vegetables from their kitc...more
Kingfisher Cottage is a lovely property in a tranquil location. It is ideally placed for visiting interesting places in the surrounding area and only 10 minutes from Haywards Heath station giving easy access further afield. Tony was an ideal host, on hand if you needed help. Would recommend and look forward to staying again.
We stayed for a week in Rosemead Cottage. Ricky and Marilyn, our hosts, went out of their way to be friendly and helpful, and made us feel very welcome. The cottage has everything you need for a holiday stay and the garden is spacious, with the most amazing vegetable patch and a little pond. There aren't any walks from the house itself but it is a 2 minute drive to Nymans where there are lovely walks through the woods and lovely National Trust gardens. Very well placed to visit other gardens and National Trust houses too. We had a lovely week.
This apartment was great for 2 people. Plenty of space and good facilities. It was nice to have your own car parking space.
The cottage is excellent - compact, but all that you need is there and everything is of a high quality. Hosts very welcoming and helpful. Wepham is ideally situated for walks on the downs or visits to the coast. The disadvantage is that the view from the French window is of the side wall of the owner's cottage, albeit an interesting wall of old brick and flint. It is no consolation that there is a lovely view over fields from the garden where an area is reserved for the use of guests. I realise now that the view from my home or holiday cottage is very important to me and will give greater ...more
Very well-presented warm cottage for two, close to Petworth House and town shops. Lots of thoughtful extras, well-equipped kitchen and comfortable bed. Recommended for all, although some steep steps wouldn't suit those with significant mobility issues.
Lovely comfortable home in town with lots to see within 5 minute walk. We made good use of the pool. Each bedroom having an en-suite bathroom is a real bonus. We hope to return !
Well appointed, comfortable cottage, owners very welcoming. Lovely garden, in a rural setting. Hundred of interesting books to read if house bound.
Just what we needed. Simple, unfussy, dog friendly accommodation in a peaceful environment with lots of good walking within very easy reach.
We had a lovely week, the cottage was lovely, the kitchen well fitted and the welcome pack very well received. Hilary was very welcoming and we thoroughly enjoyed our holiday
Super clean. Very comfy beds. Brilliant location, right in the centre. Lots of character and well decorated. Kitchen well stocked with equipment. Very fluffy towels provided. Comfy beds. Would stay again.
We were a party of 8 - 4 adults and 4 children so had plenty of room. The house has real character with the themed rooms and furniture and has amazing views. Close proximity to a small town, as well as being within half an hour drive of bognor, littlehampton and worthing. Michelle was great in helping and answering all our queries. We had an absolutely wonderful stay here and would return in a heartbeat.
Excellent property run by very helpful and thoughtful family - thanks for the Lemon cake! Great location to explore West Sussex, with an abundance of nearby vineyards, quality pubs and historic towns all on walking routes.
This converted garage has everything two people may ask for: it is quiet, spacious and sparkling clean. The owners are delightfully friendly and helpful. It has a kitchenette with two bar stools - while we did not use it, it is equipped for i.e. breakfast or simple cooking. Good bed, though not too large. The bathroom is somewhat on the small side and there is not much space for your cosmetics, no shelves apart from the mirror's. Decent towels. However, the shower is large. No bathtub. WIFI is stable and fast enough. There is a sofa and a large enough TV, but we did not use these.
Loved the accommodation and location. Would recommend and definitely come back again and visit. Thank you
The Nest was perfect for our recent mini-moon. Having travelled straight from our tiny, COVID compliant wedding and brunch in Birmingham we were absolutely thrilled to arrive at the Nest. Once we were settled in, the owner Sherry gave us a warm welcome and plenty of information about the local area. We were well placed to travel locally and further out during our stay. The facilities and decor are gorgeous and really helped us feel both comfort and a little bit of luxury that we'd been after. Everything we needed was available to hand and we stayed in every evening to cook and make the mos...more
Wonderful house in a really central location. This townhouse is beautifully decorated and so comfortable! We were having a family weekend away and really enjoyed the huge kitchen area where we could all spend time together. The garden had just been refurbished and looked spectacular with lovely garden furniture in a sun trap! The stairs were fairly steep so perhaps not suitable for elderly but we managed okay! All the beds were comfy and towels etc were provided. Earlier check out time than we would have liked at 9:30 but it was to give them time to carry out a more rigorous clean before t...more
On arriving I was shocked, I knew the house would be beautiful but it was far beyond my expectations! We had fabulous weather so spent alot of time in the charming pool. The gardens are gorgeous with speaking hills for miles and the house interia is full of amazing art. The perfect house for a large group with lovely kitchen and lots of compfy nooks to relax in. Could not have enjoyed our stay more, would love to come back! X
It was a real pleasure coming back to the cottage each day while exploring Sussex. Our 16-month daughter loved the walled garden and was fascinated by all the art. It was great being able to borrow a high chair as well. We hope to come back again next year.
The weather was perfect and we found plenty to do, as it was a very central location for walks and visiting the Portsmouth area. We felt very comfortable and safe despite the current restrictions due to the virus. Paula was the perfect host and had gone to a lot of trouble to provide many little extras to make our holiday very enjoyable. The welcome pack including flapjacks and eggs were much appreciated.
We had a great stay at Croft Cottage. This cottage is in a great location and was cleaned to a very high standard - we will definitely go back and stay again! Thank you!
A lovely warm, comfortable, well equiped property. Well placed for walks on the South Downs. The owners were welcoming and friendly yet not intrusive.
I’ve had the delight of staying at Candle Cottage for a good 4 weeks, and I have loved it. It has everything I need, it’s very very clean and very spacious The position is fabulous right amongst the hills of the beautiful South Downs, with a walk right outside the front door, leading within minutes to stunning views Within walking distance of The George Pub which serves great food, I really couldn’t ask for more .
Very peaceful and comfortable accommodation, and very well equipped. Owners were on hand if needed and were very welcoming and understanding when we had to delay our arrival due to a family funeral.
We had a weeks stay at the end of July (2 adults, 2 children 8 & 13 the apartment had all that we needed. A comfortable bed, fully equipped self catering facilities and good wifi connection to keep the kids happy. The location is 5 minutes from town, beach, shops and opposite a great park for kicking a football around on a sunny evening. Overall a really lovely stay.
We stayed 7 nights and absolutely loved this cottage! It's well-sized, well-equipped and the hosts who live next door are very friendly and helpful. There are several excellent walks from this cottage, going on public pathways which are well signposted. The location is peaceful, the fields surrounding the area are full of grazing sheep and horses, you can reach the Arlington Reservoir by foot, as well as the Long Man of Wilmington. For the trips to the beach there's a range of options - Seven Sisters Cliffs, Seaford beach, Birling Gap are all within a short drive. We loved our stay and would h...more
Yet another very enjoyable stay at Lazy Meadows. Wonderful location and comfortable house. Surprisingly peaceful spot
We found Rose Cottage to be a great find. The owners were on hand if we needed them but made themselves unobtrusive. The cottage is located in a pretty hamlet with a lovely country pub and is perfectly located between Midhurst and Petworth. The cottage is spotlessly clean and tidy with all amenities provided. The downstairs shower room was lovely. Upstairs is a little more compromised as it hasn't been extended and has two rooms with a Jack & Jill bathroom in-between. We did find the bed a bit soft for our taste but everyone has their own preferences where mattresses are concerned. The prop...more
Very well equipped cottage, the owners have made a great deal of effort to anticipate what might be needed. There were flowers and fruit provided as well as homemade biscuits, bread and basic cooking supplies (olive oil, flour etc). The cottage is quite small but comfortable for 2 with a nice private, sunny outside seating area. Arrangements for access and departure could not be faulted. The owners live in the adjoining property but were not intrusive at all but were available if needed and very informative about the area. Nice location close to the village but very quiet with a numbe...more
Cute cottage with plenty of character. Rather on cosy side - little worktop space in kitchen to organise breakfasts. Getting baggage from The Mint to cottage is rather awkward. Reasonably well appointed and comfortable. Shame front garden has been left to become so shaded by trees - rarely sees much sun during the day. Shower excellent, and lounge pleasant to sit in in the evening. Good access to Rye centre and train station. Parking instructions were helpful. Enjoyed stay but would not recommend for more than 2 guests (size). Would benefit from being a little more minimalist.
An enjoyable stay in an attractive, comfortable, well-equipped cottage. We liked the outside equipment which meant we could sit outside with a drink. The Bull's Box was well-placed for visiting Arundel and Lewes and walking on the beautiful South Downs.
We really enjoyed our stay at Vane Cottage. Our hosts have obviously doing this a while and understand what makes a relaxing place to stay (both inside and out). Our children really enjoyed the playroom and the huge garden as well as the surrounding countryside. We really appreciated the peace and quiet as well as the proximity to a lovely country pub (just a short walk across the field) and lots of delightful Sussex things a short car journey away.
The house was very clean and fresh on arrival. There was also a tea, coffee etc. It is in an ideal location to visit the South Coast.
Both my partner and I thought that the apartment was wonderful. We both enjoyed staying there. It is very well laid out.
An excellent week at this lovely cottage. We used it as a base whilst walking the South Downs Way.Very peaceful and quiet and the owners were extremely helpful.
We had a fantastic stay at Brewery Cottage. The house was spotlessly clean and in a fab location for the town. Also conveniently it had a pub next door and fish and chip shop and coop opposite. There was a cute summer house in the garden to sit in in the evenings, which was very welcome as we had great weather. There is also a huge fireplace and I imagine it's very cosy in the wintertime. We had a great stay at Brewery Cottage and would heartily recommend it to anyone. It was our second stay with Amberley House Cottage Holiday Group and I have to say that the customer service is amazing....more
Where to start with Priors Barn - probably one of the nicest, most peaceful stays we've had. The barn itself is tucked away down a winding country road within Maresfield and surrounded by huge conifers, which makes it all the more peaceful and tranquil. The amount of outside space is just right with a good sized gravel drive and an amazing decking area with a small stream running below. This was the perfect place to have a coffee/breakfast in the morning, or a BBQ in the evening. It has all the mod cons you could want, even down to an Amazon Alexa device, which was actually extremely han...more
We were made to feel really welcome, as we found wine chocolates, and apple juice waiting for us! Brian, and I had a lovely few days, that has stayed in my memory during these days of isolation! We hope that, one day, we may all three of us spend some time in that lovely bungalow!
Whitefriars was a perfect location and very well equipped for a family stay.It was great to have the garden too, which was enjoyed by the younger members of the party The kitchen had almost everything we needed just one or 2 things extra would have been useful!. We appreciated the bottle of wine on our arrival. The only thing which we found a very slight problem was that the large bins for rubbish outsie the house were full on our arrival and one had been removed by the occupants of No 1 for their use ! We found the agents helpful and efficient.
My husband and I were very happy with our stay at Calceto. Our hosts were friendly and helpful and recommended some good local restaurants and pubs. The apartment was very comfortable, clean, quiet and well-equipped. It is also conveniently located, a short walk from Arundel station and just a 5 minute walk from the centre of Arundel, which made it easy for us to explore the town. There are also some nice walks close by along the River Arun.
Lovely cottage in a quiet, rural location. Everything was pristine and we were extremely comfortable to the extent we have already booked again! Warm and attentive welcome from the host but not at all intrusive during our stay: a perfect balance. A pleasure to watch the animals on the estate. An excellent property: highly recommended. Also beautiful hamper, a lovely Christmas treat, thank you!
Seasidings is perfect for a family holiday right on the beach. The accommodation is spacious and comfortable with everything you need. There are local shops within walking distance.
Great cottage that had everything we needed. Helpful owners who where there if we needed them but left us alone.
Wonderful cottage that sleeps 10 comfortably with lots of space inside and out for a family occasion.
From arrival and meeting Tony and Maureen we knew we would be enjoying our 7 day stay. The cottage is well equipped and tastefully decorated, it had all we needed and was spotlessly clean. The owners were helpful, knowledgeable and gave good advice on places to visit, local pubs and restaurants which made our days easy to plan. From our personal preference a dishwasher would have been more useful than a washing machine but we understand for longer stays a washing machine would be a benefit
A lovely holiday cottage in a wonderfully tranquil location. Very comfortable with everything you need for a good holiday. A comfortable bed and excellent shower, and all nice and cosy. The location is wonderful and the hosts were very friendly. A holiday cottage we would definitely return to.
Lovely 3 storey house close to the centre of Rye and very well equipped. Unfortunately it was really rather dirty throughout which was pretty disappointing and rather alarming in this current climate, especially as you can’t arrive at the property before 5:00 pm which apparently is to allow time for it to be deep cleaned! Both toilets needed cleaning before use, leftover food in the fridge from previous guests, oven gloves coated in dried on food, drinking glasses sticky, filthy bathroom floor and items left behind in downstairs wardrobe, including prescription pills and nasal spray. Such a sh...more
We had a wonderful stay at the Mouse house - it was very clean and comfortable with a welcoming atmosphere. We were glad of the peace and tranquility during our stay - that’s what we came for and we got exactly that. Lots to do in the area - we visited the RSPB nature reserve and Petworth house where we walked alongside the deer! Val is a lovely host and makes you feel very welcome - we will definitely book in for a long weekend again.
We reccomend this beautiful place in UK ! Very nice Place to spend holiday time and Ideal place for artist !
Brilliant stay at Regency House. Lots of character and comfort in a great location! Great space easily catering to a large group. A little worried about parking but we all found a space just outside. Definitely recommend!
The property is spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on the bench outside, watching the world go by. The hosts very quick to respond to requests, lovely touch of a vase of flowers on dining table. Property outside looked a little tired and garden furniture needed a wash down before we used it, this did not detract from an enjoyable stay however. Property well located for the pretty town of Petersfield, which has a decent sized Waitrose. Good dog walking on the door-step. We would recommend a stay here.
The cottage wad lovely very clean and homely I always love coming to Arundel and it was as beautiful as ever would recomend this cottage for an enjoyable stay
Despite the Covid restrictions we were able to enjoy our stay; the only downside was intermittent wifi connection which would frustrate anyone who needed to maintain reliable business meeting contact whilst on vacation.
Peaceful, scenic, restful quiet location, Easy parking, outside seating. A pleasant walk into the village of Cuckfield. The quality of the appliances is excellent and the range of equipment good. There is a large Waitrose in nearby Haywards Heath and the Granary is well located for travel to the surrounding area and places of interest.
Excellent accommodation well furnished, good location, comfortable and secure. Really caring and attentive host.
Although just off an A road the premises felt as if we were in a lovely remote setting ideal for a quite rexlaxing week. A lovely place to return to after a day's walking on the Sussex downs
Cottage small but perfectly adequate for a couple in a good location close to Chichester and Goodwood.
The Brambles is spacious, well equipped and comfortable with a really lovely garden for BBQs. It’s also ideally situated for visiting the local area and we managed to pack quite a lot into our week - walks and runs in Slindon wood, visits to the beach at Felpham and a walk around Chichester harbour. Pip and Dave were extremely friendly and helpful hosts and gave us some great options for places to eat (would recommend The Lobster Pot in Felpham and the Cider House Kitchen in Chichester). We thoroughly enjoyed our week and would definitely recommend the Brambles to others.
We enjoyed our stay at Tarante. It is a comfortable and spacious flat with easy parking. Well placed for enjoying Arundel, and all the town offers. The owner was very helpful and considerate. We make regular family visits to this part is sussex and will be very happy to return to Tarante again.
Walnut tree cottage is a comfortable holiday home in a peaceful location. Was our second visit and hopefully not the last.
We had a comfortable 8 day stay in the studio. We used the maps supplied to explore the local area including Chichester Marina and Harbour.
Lovely spacious house for family of 6 adults in an ideal location. Only downside was the uncomfortable mismatched wooden chairs around the dining table and the lack of decent sized glasses. We had to go to the local charity shop to get some large enough for wine and a nice G&T. Some wardrobes with hanging space and larger mirrors in the bedrooms would also be an improvement. Otherwise a great rental and we would all certainly return.
Property is good for short term stay 2 - 4 days. Cooking facilities limited and suffered problems Fine if you are eating out in the evening Stairway access difficult if you have heavy luggage Fantastic gardens and view
Fig Tree cottage is an excellent property if you want to explore West Sussex. The property is clean comfortable and characterful. The courtyard was very private and South West Facing is sun nearly all day. We loved the village and the access to the South Downs. Our only feedback for improvement would be brighter lights in both bathrooms a mirror in the upstairs bathroom and an outside light to light the courtyard so you could sit out in the evening. Otherwise a great place.
Lovely quiet secluded location. Total privacy surrounded by open fields. Easy access to the the main routes both inland and on the coast. Comfortable beds, nice to have a bath as well as a shower, sofa's could have been more comfortable. Would have been nice to have wifi but we would definitely return again.
The directions given to get to the cottage were straightforward and the parking was good, being well off the road. Once out of the car however, first impressions were not good. It was obvious that the garden area was not well maintained and was certainly not inviting to spend any time there. The path to the front door was weed strewn and did not give a very good welcome. However, on returning to the cottage one day during our stay, the path had been weeded and the grass mowed. This certainly improved matters but the garden was still very overgrown and needed some tlc. Once inside the property...more
A delightful homely cottage, clean, light and spacious and very well equipped. Would highly recommend this cottage which is ideally situated in the beautiful South Downs.
The cottage is perfectly situated for seeing many of the beautiful sights in the area. Stunning location with fruit tree's and fields all around. Had everything you could need, microwave, sandwich toaster and very full cupboards of cutlery and crockery. Plenty of space and very comfortable. Great layout and very comfy bed. Owner very friendly and helpful with great knowledge of local area, places to eat and visit. Overall facilities and location are a ten out of ten. Would stay again without hesitation.
Really lovely, cosy cottage with a friendly and helpful owner. We would definitely come back. Highly recommended.
We had a fantastic stay and the location was perfect for what we wanted to see and do. The hosts were extremely friendly and made us feel very welcome. There were 2 pubs within walking distance which served great food. I would totally recommend this accommodation as it is exceptional value for money and set within beautiful surroundings.
We all enjoyed our stay at River cottage the location was excellent to visit several National Trust gardens , it was also a very peaceful location with no passing traffic, the added bonus was the short walk to the river which was a wildlife haven we saw barn owls on several occasions flying early evening and late morning , two badgers and deer. The walk along the river was wonderful all you could see were meadows and the South Downs we would definitely return as the property had a nice atmosphere and was light and airy.
Generally very clean and well presented, beds very comfortable, sofas not so much. Heating worked well when it was on, unfortunately arriving on a chilly October day to find out from the owner that the heating didn't come on until two hours after we arrived, so we entered the property which is quite cavernous and was quite chilly and was a bit disappointing, not very welcoming; it also unfortunately went off during the day, OK if your out but not so good if your in.The main entry door could do with some draft proofing However we enjoyed our stay and would probably return at some future date.
My wife, toddler, in laws and I stayed at Seaview in mid September. The house was perfect for our needs, being thirty seconds from the beach and the grass on the seaward. The house and kitchen are spacious and well equipped and we had a lovely time.
Two couples wanted to complete their walk of the South Downs Way from Amberley to Eastbourne, and the location of this cottage, a few minutes drive from the trail, and about the middle of the walk, was ideal. The cottage is very clean, comfortable, well-equipped and tidy, with everything we needed for our stay. In fact, there were quite a few "extras" which enhanced our stay. Not only a large and useful collection of books and maps of the local area, but thoughtful touches like the welcome pack of wine, coffee and biscuits to help us settle in. The village has decent shops and faciliti...more
My sister and I stayed at The Salts for a week in July. The cottage is very comfortable and well equipped and we had a very enjoyable week. Rye is a lovely town and there are lots of places to visit near by. Would definitely recommend.
We had an enjoyable holiday partly due to the accommodation which was first class and very comfortable. Located close to the seafront it was ideal for spending time on the beach. Highly recommendable.
We had an enjoyable stay, fortunate with excellent weather even in mid September. The cottage is pretty and full of character. The location is quiet. The cottage is well equipped, the kitchen in particular (apart from no microwave). The split-level nature of the upstairs posed some challenges with two very small children (youngest 22 months and into everything) although older children would probably love it. The garden was fantastic and being completely enclosed, ideal for letting them run free!
This is a unique and charming cottage near the centre of Chichester. The whole trip went very smoothly, and we were delighted at the cosiness of the place. Communication with the owner was smooth and helpful, and everything in the cottage was as advertised. A lovely place for a break!
This is the second time we have used this cottage. As previously, the owners have been very friendly and helpful. The cottage the is the ideal place to come for a quiet relaxing break. There are plenty of places of interest to visit in the vicinity. All in all we highly recommend this cottage.
Really lovely cottage with everything we needed to hand. Amazingly comfy beds, plenty of storage space and lovely touches like fresh flowers left on the kitchen table. Sally and Stuart made us really welcome and gave us a tour of the farm. If it wasn’t for the torrential rain we would have ventured into the field to meet the calves. This is a great place for a family and was perfect for us as our son is in a wheelchair and it’s all on one level. Definitely want to visit again.
We haven’t holidayed in this country for many years but as not able to get abroad decided to revisit the Sussex area. Cottage very comfortable with full fitted kitchen and good bathroom. Area very convenient for all roads along the coast with Brighton, Southampton and Portsmouth less than an hour away. There were hand sanitizer, hand wash and wipes available for cleaning light switches, handles etc during our stay. Enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to use Amberley cottages again- service with booking was good and all information sent via email was accurate as were pictures of the cottag...more
As my elderly father had had a heart attack in the middle of lockdown, we needed somewhere Covid secure for our annual holiday, and found it with this beautiful cottage. I've never used an Aga stove before but the owner's advice of 'relax and don't worry' made it a joy. The cottage is beautiful, spacious and well located. We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday and would definitely recommend the cottage. Thank you to the owners.
Echo cottage is comfortable, in good location. I had everything you need plus a lot more. General surfaces were clean. Cutlery and crockery were also clean but the cupboard draws and shelves had to cleaned. Due to hot weather windows were open the inside the frame frames were extremely dirty. The property just wanted in depth clean and clutter removed.
We were given a very warm welcome from the owners of this lovely clean and cosy cottage. There are so many walks and places to visit that our only regret was not to be staying longer..
Tastefully refurbished cosy little cottage for 2 people. The kitchen is well equipped apart from the lack of storage.
My partner and I had a pleasant three nights stay here. It's a two bedroom cottage attached to the side of a large house, where the helpful owner lives. All spotlessly clean - especially important in these challenging times. In pretty good condition generally - lovely sitting room and light bedrooms. Good TV with Netflix etc. Kitchen and bathroom ok, if a tad outdated - the water flow is a bit iffy when you're showering. There are a couple of other cottages nearby and a busy road but we weren't disturbed by noise. Apparently we were staying on a particularly expensive weekend and it seemed h...more
Spacious property, with exceptional grounds. All facilities needed provided. Very friendly manager.
Lovely flat beautifully designed and decorated. Location fabulous. Sadly let down by a need for thorough clean and few repairs necessary. Did not spoil our holiday though, we didn't want to leave!
Harbinger's large, airy living space with its Eames armchairs, its B&O tv and beautifully designed log burner make relaxing, after enjoying the many delights of the South Downs, a real pleasure. The property is placed within easy reach of the many seaside resorts, not to mention Petworth, Arundel, Chichester, Goodwood etc. There is so much to see and do that I found that a week is no where near long enough to fully appreciate this astounding area.
A modern and well appointed flat. The owners had thought carefully about Covid protection and we felt safe. Wine and nibbles greeted us on arrival, another nice touch. Julian was most welcoming and told us a lot about the history of the area. West Dean is a lovely little village, very quiet but also close to Cuckmere Haven and Eastbourne/ Brighton. Nestled in Friston Forest, a haven for walkers.
We really liked this cottage. Delightful location in a tiny and very quiet hamlet. It is located adjacent to a beautiful old church and churchyard which provide a lovely rear aspect. The cottage is spacious with a large lounge and main bedroom and the children's room in the loft is also excellent despite the steep stairs. One of the dormer windows in the loft also needs replacement. There is a very complicated fan system in the kitchen/bathroom which seemed to have a life of its own. We called the property manager who quickly came round to look at it. These were very minor issues. The...more
A well positioned cosy cottage. Emma is a perfect host, extremely welcoming and offering lots of valuable advice for walks etc
The house is very comfortable and fully equipped, but unfortunately was very dirty when we arrived and wasn't rectified during our stay. Fantastic location for great beaches, walking and visiting local villages like Alfriston.
Hope to return to this wonderful barn. Thank you for thinking of everything we needed for our comfort!
Everything was perfect. Very happy with our stay. I will highly recommend this place. Ideal for family
Everything at the cottage was excellent The only feedback l can give is the door too the upstairs bedroom is very dangerous for small children. The door slams shut as they spring on the door just slams shut and if a small child followed anyone in they would trap their fingers Our 11 year old could not go through the door without it banging close so this really needs seeing to Other than this we had no complaints and enjoyed our stay. Regards Janet Thornton
It is a great space for a family. The sound of the weir was lovely and relaxing to listen to and there is a peacock in the garden. Convenient for beaches and the surrounding areas. The place really needs a clothes airer, a bigger bin and some recycling instructions, and I thought it was rather mean to leave 4 dishwasher tabs for a 7 night stay.
We had a great stay at Lavender cottage Alfriston. The cottage was warm and cosy on arrival. Full of character. The furniture is old but comfortable enough. Kitchen and bathrooms modern and clean. We had a problem with the upstairs shower , We informed the housekeeper and a plumber came out on A Sunday . Great service. We managed to find free parking locally , unloading was awkward , only because we had a great deal to unload with it being christmas . Although everything was good with the cottage we were disappointed with the lack of a christmas tree , or any christmas decorations . This is th...more
We thought the cottage was wonderful and being in walking distance to Arundel was great. I felt that the TV (for those rainy days) was a bit small for the size of the living room area. Otherwise it was great and the hospitality was superb.
Stunning views and daily visits to our bedroom door by hundreds of goats. Young and old our party was full of gratitude for the experience.
Our group of 6 (4 adults and 2 teenagers) all really enjoyed our week's stay at Martingales. The apartment is part of a historical building that has been converted into different properties amongst communal grounds. It has two dedicated parking spaces and was a nice, clean, bright, comfortable and modern apartment with three double bedrooms, two bathrooms (one of which is ensuite), kitchen, living and dining room. It is spread over two levels. On the lower level, the front door of the apartment enters into a hallway off which there is a double bedroom, a bathroom and the stairs to the upper le...more
This was a really nice place to find, we enjoyed getting back each day, it transported us Through it’s History, peaceful setting and to be able to look out onto the sea for breakfast, lunch and dinner!
Perfect location for an undisturbed holiday lovely cottage to stay in with wonderful views beautiful scenic walks right on the doorstep, nice big garden for dogs can’t wait for the opportunity to go back again.
Pebble house is in a ideal spot, for a relaxing break. Close to beach, and local shops up by Toby. Just a great place.
We, 2 adults and 2 children aged 12 and 14, had a very comfortable stay for at London House in Ninfield. Its layout - with two real double beds (not sofa-beds) plus a single - meant it suited us perfectly (so often accommodation for 4 offers only a double bed plus a sofa-bed) and its two bathrooms made it practical and convenient to stay here. The house is a stylish and quirky period property which has been beautifully and interestingly decorated and adorned by the owners lending it masses of cosy charm. We had everything we needed and more for our 4 night stay - we ate out except for brea...more
The barn conversation has been really well thought out and executed with everything needed for a comfortable stay provided. It’s in a beautiful setting and the hosts were very welcoming and accommodating to our family. Lots to do in area.
We stayed at Oak House over the Easter weekend, it was perfect. Oak House is a gorgeous house and perfect for our family gathering. We were welcomed by a basket of goodies which was lovely. Great location for exploring Rye town and the surrounding areas. We cycled down to Camber Sands and Rye harbour with the kids. Will visit again. Thank you John
We had a great time at the Farthings for a late summer getaway. The property is in a fantastic location near to West Wittering beach. The pool and games room are hidden gems in the cottage and we enjoyed the garden and outdoor living.
Rose Mullion Cottage was convenient for the coast and exploring the area. It is cosy and warm And well equipped. It is quiet, peaceful and we enjoyed our stay there.
Enjoyed another great visit to Arundel staying in this superb little cottage. Already booked for next year.
An enjoyable stay in a good property which had a comfortable lounge and sitting area. The kitchen and cooking facilities were very good and helped present us with the holiday we were expecting.
Visited Roo Cottage in about 2004, very nice then - homely and comfortable. Nicely updated in a very compact environment. Enjoyed our restful holiday so much that we have booked for another week in 2021.
Portugal was cancelled due to the awful virus. However we were fortunate to find Warre Cottage and had a wonderful two weeks, walking around the village, enjoying meals at The George and visiting places in Sussex.
Sara welcomed us on arrival and when storm Dennis filled the front garden with rain, she waded over in her wellies to assure us the flood would get no higher! Very reassuring and generous of our hostess's time. In spite of the weather we enjoyed our few days' stay and wanted to discover more of the local walks.
We really enjoyed our stay in Shepherds Cottage - the cottage itself was cosy and clean and made a good base for our weekend visiting the Knepp Estate. The location is both convenient for accessing the town and quiet (being tucked away from the seemingly very busy local pubs), and there are lovely views from the back of the property and its sun trap of a garden. There is limited on-road parking outside, but the town car park is just across the road, although I'm not sure what you would do if you wanted not to use your vehicle during the times that the parking restrictions apply. I must say tha...more
We were pleasantly surprised by the spaciousness of the bungalow, we loved the open plan living space of the downstairs It was in a perfect location by the beach and also a few minutes walk from the local shops. Apart from the last day we had glorious weather and we had some lovely walks along the beach.
We enjoyed our week in Storrington. Brewer’s cottage was well-equipped, clean and comfortable - the downstairs underfloor heating made it very cosy. It was ideally located for visiting friends and family in Sussex. On the downside, we found backing our car down the very narrow lane to the designated parking space a bit of a nightmare mainly due to protruding foliage. Also the very narrow kinked staircase was very difficult for elderly people to negotiate. I think it would be a good idea to warn guests about this. We had to leave our suitcase and clothes downstairs. We were asked to plac...more
We booked Little House as it was near our son's home, we live in Cornwall and our other children live in Essex and Hong Kong. We all wanted to be together for Christmas and so the location was ideal. It was spacious downstairs with two bedrooms and a bathroom all of a good size and a further ensuite bedroom upstairs (couldn't work the heating upstairs so it tended to be cold). The open plan kitchen and living room allowed a very sociable space. The games room is a great addition when you have a lot of people around and is equipped with a table tennis equipment and a few board games. Al...more
One of the best showers we've come across in a cottage. A great kitchen too. The TV in each room and Wifi available were also nice touches. The customer service was very friendly and helpful, when we had questions there was always someone available. The location next to Fishers Farm Park, plus nearby pubs and towns was perfect for our family.
Stunning house a real cosy family home to enjoy in the beautiful countryside with the most unbelievable enormous swimming pool.
We stayed 2 nights at the cottage which was well equipped (except it’s advertised as having a Nespresso machine but only 1 pod available), within easy reach of the beach and in a quiet location. The cottage itself is in need of some updating however - painting, replacing old items etc and the beds (two singles together) in the double room were incredibly uncomfortably (you can feel the springs through them). We enjoyed our stay but mainly due to being near the beach and our trip to Rye and were a little disappointed with the standard of the cottage given the price for just two nights. ...more
We stayed at sheriff cottage for 5 days in September. After a hectic few months in work we needed a peaceful getaway. Sheriff cottage was an ideal choice. The surrounding walks were perfect to escape reality for a little while. We walked on two occasions to The Green Man pub in Horsted keynes which was a great place to eat and spend a few hours in the afternoon. There are many nice places to visit nearby, and the villlage of Lindfield is lovely and handy for essentials. The road outside the cottage can get quite busy but dont let that put you off as it didn't annoy us. The gardens and grounds ...more
Stayed here for 10 days in August, this apartment is in need of updating . It is advertised as wheelchair accessible which it is to enter . The bathroom consists of a bath with overhead shower. Most people in a wheelchair would find it difficult to get in and out of a bath , a walk in shower would be a big improvement. There were not enough towels provided for five people and the one`s that were there smelled musty as if they had been stored for a long time . Could not fault the agent who was quick to provide some more clean towels for us. All things considered would not stay in this apartment...more
Saxons was in a pleasant location and there was a nice patio area to sit outside on the whole the rooms were clean and comfortable. However I felt bedding and towels had been well used/washed and the towels particularly were 'thin' and needed renewing.
SeaBank is a charming, spacious cottage with beautiful views of the distant sea and the green fields. We loved the lounge room, with high ceilings and the character. The outdoor covered verandah off the lounge room was so pleasant to sit and relax. The circular sun room adjacent to the kitchen was fabulous. Light flooded in from all the windows. There is an Aga in the kitchen and it is the main source for cooking. This took a while to master. One point to mention if bringing a dog. The garden just off the kitchen is flat and spacious but it drops away steeply. The garden is also not secure. Th...more
This cottage is a delightful gem hidden away in the woods. Relaxing and magical. It’s old and clunky at times but has personality and we loved it.
The cottage itself was lovely, for a couple to stay in . Although it allows a dog the garden was not secure, side access is wide open. Garden was very over grown with weeds . Location is remote, but as a base good . Shame because these thing easily corrected. The cottage was very clean! Bed very comfy!
The hosts were lovely and very helpful. We loved the cottage and it was plenty big enough (despite other reviews) for two of us and we have definitely stayed in more than a few smaller places! The fact that the (large and bright) bedroom was separate and the sitting room area was upstairs made it more like a cottage than a studio. The outside area to sit with the friendly chickens and have breakfast/drink tea or wine and breathe in the countryside peace was wonderful! It was so quiet too with owls gently hooting at night and we slept like babies. Perfect location for plenty of walking too.
We were delighted with our stay at the apartment. The location was perfect, and everything was spotlessly clean and looked brand new. The beds were very comfortable & the kitchen very well appointed. I loved my stay here - all the little touches made it feel like a home and not a holiday let, and my better half loved the smart TV. Would certainly try to book again next time we visit the area, which will hopefully be soon as we now have family relocated there. Thank you.
The cottage is in a great location 2 minutes from the beach and regular buses into Chichester. However, anyone with a mobility issue would struggle to climb over the foot high wall at the front to get the the front door and this is the only access and the stairs are very steep and narrow.
I went there with my mum, daughter and one of my granddaughters, and the setting was beautiful, and just set back from the road. It has a lovely big garden, and everything you need inside the cottage. What else can I say, apart from wonderful.
Lovely quirky looking interior however we didn't sleep very well through the whole stay. First night we tried the steps up to mezimen bedroom but the noise from the fridge freezer which is so very close starting up all night was too much so we tried making up the sofa bed for the rest of the stay but that wasn't very comfy on one side so apart from lack of sleep we did enjoy the surroundings and the quiet privacy that The Well House has to offer.
A lovely cottage in a peaceful and lovely spot . Poorly equipped with no information folder and cheap and inadequate kitchen equipment. No hoover or brush.barbecue was filthy and dirty tray found in oven. Could be lovely with a few minor changes
We spent 6 days at the end of October at Beach Reach. 4 adults and 2 children. The location is fantastic and even in October, access to the beach from the back door is fantastic. Waking up in the 1st floor bedroom to the amazing view is a real treat. There is loads to do in the area and we can highly recommend the English Heritage sites of Battle Abbey and Dover Castle as well as the fantastic bike tracks around Bedgebury Pinetum. The house had everything we needed and was a comfortable and cozy retreat each evening. Having a real fire was a treat. The only observation I would make is that ...more
The location was brilliant as we wanted somewhere off the beaten track with peace and quiet, this ticked all those boxes. The only fault was you had to be outside to appreciate the area as all the windows apart from one were velux and no views from them. Also no permanent place to sit outside. The outside furniture was very heavy to lift up and down the short flight of stairs. The above did not spoil anything and we would return to West Dean but maybe look at the alternative barns on his site.
Kitchen equipment, (pots, pans, crockery) needs updating and sorting, too many bits and pieces, Minor maintenance before a let. shower head came apart, toilet seat moved on the pan. Otherwise the accommodation and our stay was OK.
Cosy, comfortable little cottage in an excellent location for a dog friendly break.Very quiet and fantastic walks nearby
Booked five days, left after two - here's why: First impression - grubby frontage with dirty windows, ivy growing across 2 of them, grubby front door and entrance, refuse bag containing food waste tied to a pavement-level window by front door and right next to an open window vent to basement (so-called TV room). Generally clean inside but don't look upward or into corners. Front curtains would not be welcome at the local charity shop. Poor and mean provision of utensils in kitchen - a few builders mugs for hot drinks, nothing more. And yet a full set of herb containers and a set of large se...more
great location although parking is tough. The property was not cleaned properly and had someones hair in almost all the drawers. Ok
Modern house well equipped. Shame about the limited parking. In general house style suits only 2 adults and kids due to only one shower and small kitchen/dining area. Office/lounge extension was a plus.
