Great apartment in stunning location and v reasonably priced. Have booked through Love Connemara before and will do so again!
This is a beautiful, clean, and thoroughly modern house in Connemara that features some of the best views we’ve seen in all of Ireland. The views from the kitchen and family rooms are stunning. This is the centerpiece of the house, and the house’s design and positioning are perfect for it. The house is well-appointed, and everything worked for us, including wifi which we used across multiple devices. The house is set up to accommodate large groups – we had 7 and it fit us all quite comfortably. Finally, there are some really nice walks available from the house, down some farm roads, to re...more
Our son attended the Ceol Na Mara String Summer School in Kylemore Abbey and there is no better location than this to stay as it is so near to the abbey. Great restaurants, Connemara National Park/Diamond Hill and grocery store all within walking distance. Beautiful places to visit just a short drive away. Perfect!
We enjoyed the stay is a lovely house with superb views. The rooms were clean and well furnished. Everyone had a good feel at this nice house.
Absolutely loved the cottage and grounds. Beautifully presented and very well equipped. Kettle and dvd didn't work but they were a small price to pay for the level of comfort everywhere in the cottage. Totally fell in love with the cottage, views and Connemara itself. Even a week later, me and my boyfriend still miss the place. Thank you for our stay x
A stunning cottage in a beautiful, peaceful location! Beautifully decorated and furnished, spotlessly clean and well maintained. Well equipped, cosy, warm and with amazing views. Ann the owner was very friendly and helpful. Close enough to roundstone for bars, shop and cafe.
Fabulous house. Extremely spacious and comfortable. Great location. Would highly recommended the beautiful house
Very good stay in this comfortable and well equipped house. We enjoyed the welcome on our arrival and the house was very nice for two adults and four children throughout the stay. From a practical point of view, a tumble dryer would be a plus. For the rest, everything was fine.
The booking was completed efficiently by Love Connemara...much appreciated. A wonderful week in Clifden.
this cottage suits our needs very well and have booked again for next year.wonderful views whatever the weather
We were absolutely delighted with Apartment 290 - well located, extremely clean, modern furniture and well equipped (although it would be nice to have a mirror in the twin room) - it was everything we needed for our stay in Clifden. The assistance we received when there was a minor problem with the hot water was exceptionally fast and efficient. We will definitely be staying there again next year.
The Apartment was fabulous, we could not believe the magic of the place, stunning accommodation with everything you could need, and the Views were amazing from the Apartment, we really loved it all. All new contents and very comfortable apartment, loads of space and bright rooms with lots of windows, totally private and no noise. Beds are very very comfortable, the views from the en suite bedroom are stunning. The location was stunning, and the bonus of having a fabulous restaurant below us with beautiful food and fabulous staff was huge. All the people in Leenane are lovely, in the ...more
From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, we enjoyed the location and surroundings. This cottage is a great base for touring Connemara (which we did a lot of during the 10 days): comfortable, well appointed, well equipped and lovely decorated. Fast and efficient WLAN was constantly available during our stay. We were only three but bigger parties will find plenty of space, too. Although the owners live on site, we had all the privacy we needed to feel home away from home. Aedan, the host, is friendly and accessible and although we never had any reason to call for help or support with ...more
Perfect House for our Group of 8 People. Very spacious and well equipped. Short walking to the Beach and to Cleggan.
We had a wonderful time in this very nice cottage 118 and we enjoyed the silence and the view of the sea. Every thing was fine and the equipment of the cottage was perfect too. It was, with its 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms big enough to spent nice times with our hole family. If we come back to stay for holidays in connemara, we will book at "love connemara cottages" again.
Everything was exactly as described on the website. Lovely host, lovely cottage with stunning views, great walks along the coasts, wonderful places around to visit. We really enjoyed our holiday! We had a wonderful relaxing time.
We stayed as a group of 9 adults and 9 kids, a mixture of family and friends. We have travelled a lot to various holiday homes around Ireland but we all agreed this was one of the best. The 8 bedrooms all en-suite with their own tv was just great. There was 3 different seating areas so no one was on top of each other. The kitchen appeared recently renovated and was lovely to use. And it was great having facilities like skysports and a smart TV. The upper deck has impressive views and was used frequently for a relaxing after dinner drink. The kids enjoyed the garden and there was a little play...more
Really enjoyed our stay. The owner met us and welcomed us in a friendly way. We loved the cottage. Spotlessly clean and homely. We walked around the loop every day from the cottage. Fab views to the sea outside the front. Would love to go visit again sometime. 5 min drive to roundstone and fab beaches.
Clonoon Cottage is a lovely place to stay. It's spacious, comfortable and very well appointed with an absolutely gorgeous setting. My hosts could not have been nicer and I look forward to being there again.
The house is perfect. What a pitty that it wasn’t clean... Owners very friendly. Wifi and tv were great but more important, kitchen missed some basic things.
Had a lovely relaxing stay at this beautiful cottage. Great location with short walk to soft sandy beach. Kids loved the horses and donkeys in the fields beside the cottage. Not a long drive to nearby Clifden - which is a lovely town. Great holiday had by all - highly recommend!
The house was rented for a group of visiting friends and it really exceeded my expectations. The location is unbelieveable and the size and condition of the house really more than we were expecting. The online pictures don't do it justice, everything was just fantastic.
I would certainly recommend this apt. Lovely view over harbour. Close to shop and pub. Very clean and comfortable.
We really enjoyed our stay here. The location is fantastic, right across the rd from the beach and a stone's throw from Ballyconneelly and other amazing beaches. Mary was really helpful and welcoming and even had the fire lit for us on arrival! The ESB rate was reasonable and the house had everything we needed for a family holiday. Would recommend
A great holiday house, perfect for our family of five. The homeowner Michelle was so friendly and the house was spotless and well very well equipped. We loved our days spent out on the beaches in roundstone and climbing mountains in the national park. The town of clifden also had lovely bars and restaurants.
Our stay in the Appartement in Letterfrack was amazing. It was a big appartement that was nice and clean. We really loved our stay in the Connemara!
We couldn't have chosen a better place to stay in Clifden. From the balcony, we had a nice overview of the town. The apartment is literary 2 minutes walk from the centre but far enough from all the noise. The interior is very cosy and friendly, the beds are very comfortable, the kitchen is fully equipped,
Cottage #311 appears to be new throughout and is lovely. The rooms are spacious, especially the kitchen. Views from the cottage are much better than the photographs reveal. Everything works well, and the bed we slept in was very comfortable. The area and cottage are very quiet. We only had one car, but there is ample parking for several. I highly recommend this cottage.
I rent this home twice a year and just love it. Close to pubs, restaurants and anything you might need in town. We love just walking into town after dinner to listen to music and just walk home after a night in town. Perfect location and maintained very well.
Wonderful place but 20e a day crazy for electricity. Why not meter reading? Much fairer . Swimming in front of house gorgeous
Lovely cottage in a quiet location surrounded by the beautiful scenery of Connemara. We did not see another soul for our 7 days apart from Delores on the days we arrived and left. Contact with Delores was easy in the run up to our stay and our arrival went without a hitch. Description on the website is very accurate so you will know what you are getting before you arrive. Wifi connection is very good...which is important as it allowed us to check weather forecast and plan our days and trips accordingly. If you are looking for peace and solitude, the chance to get away from it all, and wit...more
Renvyle Cottage 310 is really nicely situated on a hill allowing ocean view. It is well equipped, well maintained and very clean. Located in an absolutely tranquil area it is ideally suited to explore Northern Connemara. We felt taken care of by the owner and did not miss anything. Would love to come back!
Super cosy and spotless accommodation with great kitchen and shower facilities. Neighbours so helpful and kind with insights to the island. We got a sense of the locals (Inishnee and Roundstone) living and appreciating a different pace of life and giving of their time graciously to answer our questions. Lovely walk around Inishnee island (1 hour at a gentle pace) with stunning views of the Twelve Pins mountains. We skipped the Wednesday music night in the Community Centre and, on hearing the reviews, regretted our decision! So that would be our tip to you.
The apartment is located in a beautiful surrounding viewing Diamond Hill. It is comfy, very clean and everything is there what you need to feel at home. Close to the Connemara NP visitor centre and Kylemore Abbey (by car). No wifi so a great place to unwind. Very friendly owner. I very much enjoyed my stay!
The house is well presented and equipped. Peaceful, secluded location with a lake view but in easy reach of Clifden. A great base for a Connemara holiday. Facilities are modern but the traditional features of the house and grounds have been very attractively maintained.
An absolutely fantastic property with lovely views, great location in Clifden town with everything that we could possibly need. Very clean and our contact person was extremely pleasant and efficient. Would highly recommend.
Absolutely loved this place: it was comfortable, very clean, well equipped and with the most stunning views you can imagine. Hiking the mountains around the lodge is amazing but when you have lots of rain (like we did) outdoor activities become quite challenging (no real hiking paths so there’s only bog which makes good hiking impossible (unless you’re into this kind of thing..)). So prepare for alternative outings (which are plentiful in lovely Connemara) and take a good book. WiFi would have been handy (especially given the weather we had..).
Our stay in this apartement was wery friendly and beautiful. Thanks for the nice time! Sven, Ilka and Friederike from Germany
Lovely place to stay , second year in a row staying there , Lorna is lovely ,might see you again next year
The house is in a lovely spot and has a warm character. It is very quiet and private. You have a great view and the ocean is only 10 min. walk through the field. John is a great host. Who gave us lots of tips for trips. We would love to come again.
The cottage is not so good in shape! The bed and the couch is very worn out in the difference to our last holiday in May! The mould in the Master Bedroom is not quiet healthy. The kitchen equipment is very incomplete and the pans are worn. The was only one Pint glass left. The caretaker was very friendly and helpful like ever, they do a great job. i think we will change the cottage for our next holidays!
Well maintained house close to the sea, offering panoramic views in every direction. Sunrise over the Maumturks, Errisbeg and the bay. Sunset over Doon Hill and the castle. Very quiet. Friendly owners and good contact with LoveConnemara.
Super location in Roundstone, amazing views. The dishwasher doesn't wash, you'll need to do your crockery by hand, and sadly the bath had to be cleaned before we could use it. Shower not great either. Could overlook all of the above because the views from the front door and bedroom were unsurpassable and will remain as treasured memories for ever. Overall the cottage is lovely.
Really enjoyed our stay. Lovely dog friendly cottage - even if it is close to the main road. Very comfortable and well equipped - stunning location with walks, beaches and amenities easily accessible. John Joe, the proprietor, a font of local knowledge and so helpful. Happy Days! We hope to return...
Notre séjour dans ce charmant cottage était parfait. Tranquillité, confort, et très bien situé, à mi-chemin entre Galway et Cliffden. La propriétaire nous a réservé un très bon accueil.
We have appreciated all many our stay. The sea view, small fishing port, lobsters and products of the sea, the beauty of the landscape, peaceful life, and the small dogs scroungers, who made the beautiful .. and of course inescapable sheeps in the middle of the peat and the flowery roads .. We like Conemara .. and Ireland generally It has been 2 years since we go there .
This was a delightful well presented cottage in Connemara. Very clean and well looked after. However there are a few wee things that could be add for improvement and convenience. The living room had one settee that held 2 people but the cottage sleeps 5 ? The crockery and other cooking and eating utensils were a bit sparse again at times only 4 off things. The outside could have been a bit more user friendly, ie BBQ. We had an issue with the water not the owners fault and the level of customer service to get this sorted was excellent. I would return if there was only the 2 off us next t...more
This was the third time we stayed in this house. We love it as it is an ideal location for a range of outdoor activities and we love being so close to the beach. The house was mostly warm though one of the rooms took a while to warm up. We hope to stay in the house again. We do feel however that the electricity charges are excessive. For the cost of the week , electricity should be included
Had a lovely stay in Letterfrack House well located ,very spacious & comfortable Bottle of wine in fridge a lovely touch Would definitely recommend
we have stayed here many times before,to attend the Connemara pony festival.Ideal location for us and we have made many friends in the area.
The house is in a great location. The rooms are comfortable with plenty of bathrooms. There is no dishwasher but this did not prove to be a problem. Don't hesitate to recommend it. It was lovely and clean.
Great Place, fantastic views, owners very helpful and friendly, loved the beach. had it to ourselves.
Angela made it easy for us to feel comfortable. The house is clean, rooms are spacious, beds are comfortable, kitchen is well equipped. Thanks again!
A little of the booklet information needed updating/Clarified a bit more and we couldn't find a key to the garage where the bikes were.In the end we had a phone number to chase this if required but it wasn't a big enough issue to do this. It was nice to meet the lady who looks after the property and we had a lovely holiday. The situation is great.
Fantastic location. View from kitchen window was beautiful (would have been good to have this view from the lounge room!) Clean and comfortable accommodation. Would definitely rebook.
A comfortable stay in an unforgettable location. Lough Fee is as remote as it gets in Connemara and provides easy access to both the Twelve Bens and Maumturks mountains. Glassilaun is a very short drive away - a very atmospheric beach!
Good apartments. A little noisy, but very clean and full equipe. Good wifi. Electricity out of the price booked, so you will have to pay there (extra not expected)
The flat was well catered for and fantastically located but it just needed an extremely good deep clean. Everything else perfect :-)
Beautiful location. The cottage was pristine and had everything you would need for a lovely stay. We really enjoyed ourselves and will defeniatley be back.
The area was beautiful and the house location was excellent. The village of Leenane, staff and food were outstanding. The interior of the house was dated and the outlay was awkward with the main entrance door leading into our bedroom. Some curtains were missing but overall it served its purpose and the view was amazing. Kathleen was very nice and if she did some interior update on this house, it would be amazing .
We realy appriciated the firm matress of the front bedroom of the cottage. It woud have been nice to have two of them (the same good quality in both queen size beds). Underfloor heating is very comfortable. Missing some kind of "picnic" table outside.
