The weather was outstanding, the villages, beaches and cliffs were beautiful. We enjoyed walks around Trelowarren the family. We especially enjoyed the delicious pizza at Trelowarren on Sunday evening!
Lovely Fogou, we were so sad to say goodbye. Spacious, comfortable, well-equipped and well-appointed, Fogou is a great place to stay. We’d thought carefully about a Trelowarren time-share since they first began, and finally succumbed - Fogou seemed perfect for us and it didn’t disappoint. Had a great Trelowarren Safari too - highly recommended if you get the chance. Our only regret? That we didn’t have another week!
Our house was spacious, well furnished and comfortable, with everything we needed, even a log burner. It was situated amongst the fields and trees, we loved the quiet and being able to hear the birds singing and the owl hoots. Just a short walk was the fantastic outdoor heated pool, the ozone filtering system which lowers the need for chemicals, meant we all swam most days without the usual horrid chlorine smell and drying efffect on the skin. We did all the suggested walks through the Estate including their new complimentary environmental tour in the owners Land Rover where we were taken to ...more
A wonderful holiday home. Everything that you could possibly need is there! It is quiet and peaceful and a great rejuvenator! Would definitely stay again. Thank you.
A beautifully restored old cottage in an idyllic setting. Main Estate facilities ( ie pool, restaurant, reception, Cornish craft centre and Arts gallery ) within 10 minute walk. Couldn't fault it! PS Your photo does not do the property justice. In fact it totally misrepresents accommodation on offer.
Slightly off the beaten track and all the better for it. A good welcome and a second stay in recent years. We'll be back again in the winter too. Looking forward to better Internet connections that are almost concluded too. 8)
We enjoyed our 11th year at this time of the year. The best time to visit to see the wild flowers in Cornwall. The wilderness Safari was excellent and gave a good insight into the work of the estate. The new swings were much appreciated by the family. We also enjoyed the pool, spa and gym.
First time staying in St. Anthony, previously stayed in Lankidden. We sadly weren’t able to take advantage of the sun trap that St.Anthony offers due to storms, but still very comfortable and blissfully peaceful. Love Trelowarren and hope to stay more often now that our son is going to university here. New Yard Restaurant lovely as always. Can’t wait to return.
We’ve been visiting Lankidden for 15 years and it never disappoints. The house is well furnished and equipped, comfortable and a home away from home. Trelowarren is particularly beautiful in the spring with the wild flowers and the estate ideal for dog walks and well situated for some of Cornwall’s prettiest coves and villages.
My only comment because I bring old people to the house is we could do with more upright chairs but I realize generally that is not very necessary for most people visiting.
Very squeaky floor boards upstairs, worth a look as would assist noise levels at night .. many thanks as always
This was my first time renting a house for a holiday, we were 6 people celebrating a special birthday, Goldfringy at Trelowarren was perfect. The house was everything we wanted and the location perfect. A swim every morning made up for indulging in local fayre. We were visited by a pheasant each day and the woods around us were magical. The reception staff were so helpful and friendly when we needed advice on the locality and when we had to report a chipped cup!! It was a week of luxery to remember at an everyday price, we will definatelty be back.
The shaver lighti in 2nd bathroom is not working Mould on tiling in bathrooms needs attention A larger pair of scissors is needed in kitchen
As always a real pleasure to stay on the Trelowarren estate. There were some minor issues that were swiftly and completely dealt with. We had the most wonderful talk and tour by Victoria on the re wilding of the estate that I would totally recommend, The weather was mixed but the Lizard can have sunshine whilst the rest of Cornwall has rain ! I cannot recommend Trelowarren highly enough.
This is a sweet cottage but very dark and the lighting wasn’t good enough to compensate. Well appointed but bathrooms need redoing. All a bit tired. Otherwise s sweet cottage and a pretty garden except not accessible for any one with walking disabilities.
The house was perfect for Christmas. Cosy, comfortable and spacious. The woodland views are stunning. Easy to access the pool and restaurant in New Yard. Highly recommended for a relaxing break.
Lovely house. Luckily the weather was great because the sofas were not so comfortable as the rest of the house. Would stay again though.
WE know T'warren very well and enjoy our stay there. The downstairs bathroom is due to be refreshed and this is welcome!
