Cable Cottage is in a truly amazing location, with panoramic sea views and direct access from the house on to the beach, this is a fantastic holiday home.

Fantastic Location, literally yards from its own pebble beach, with the Anglesey coastal path passing through the front . Well marked coastal path trails of in both directions , one way to the Church Bay beach, Lobster Pot restaurant and delightful Wavecrest Cafe. The other takes a twisty route along the coast to other wonderful beachs and onward to Holyhead with excellent views of beautiful Anglesey seascapes and countryside
Had a small problem with the TV during our visit, which was very promptly resolved by the agents with no inconvenience to our stay at all and good communication all round
If I'm honest the cottage could do with a bit of updating, and a thorough deep clean, but overall very enjoyable

This is our 5 th stay at Cable and we had a lovely relaxing week. We had a a couple of problems which were sorted swifly. A few others have already stated that the out door area needs new and more furniture. Only enough to sit 5 which is a bit strange as it sleeps 8.
Always well equipped in the kitchen.

We have visited this cottage for a few years now, the location is stunning.
However , this year the house was full of cobwebs, dirty plates in cupboards, mouldy coffee still in the peculator.
The outdoor table is rotten and cant be used, the other small outdoor seating was broken with holes in, no cushions fit, no parasol available, and there wasn't enough space for just three let alone if the cottage was full of eight people.
Overall the place just seems a little unloved and uncared for , its as if the owners are just expecting people to keep returning and are not putting any investment back into the cottage.

Wonderful to return to Cable Cottage. Have enjoyed many holidays in this relaxed comfortable holiday home on the marvellous Cable Bay. We never tire of the views and the sunsets or family meals at the lovely long table. Already booked for next year.

Lovely quaint cottage. Good for 4 people. If 8 are staying, the other 4 need to be agile to climb the ‘ships ladder’ steps up to the other 2 bedrooms. Fabulous views up there when you do! Condition score of 4 was only because the boiler ‘bangs’ a bit when it turns on which you get used to, but might be difficult for some dogs.
Massive kitchen/diner and fantastic power shower in the additional wet room.
No wifi for work & limited phone signal which is all a bonus. We did get 4G which was good for researching where to explore each day.
Great place for dogs. Garden is so big it doesn’t really matter that there’s no gate. The coastal paths are secured with gates anyway. The little cove is very rocky, until the sea goes right out. Another bigger cove just over the hill and walks in both directions. We had a wonderful stay.

Location Location Location is Everything..... !! Waking Up Right Next To The Beach At Cable Cottage is Quiet and Peaceful. A Place With Sooooo Much History + Character. Sooooo Comfortable + Cosy. We Cooked All Our Own Meals + Had Lots of Conversation Round the Large Kitchen Table. And The Sunsets Were Amazing...!! Loved Every Minute of Our Week Here..... Thank You....

Generally very poor cleaning. Fridge was full of crumbs and had to clean it before it could be used. Cottage was generally dusty and there were very many old and new spider webs (and spiders) in all rooms and passageways.

Rugs had not been vacuumed – many sequins etc, presumably from children’s clothes found on floor.

The freezer looked as if it had not been defrosted for a long time.

Notices on some of the furniture "Do not Touch for 72 Hours etc" quite absurd. Effectively lounge kitchen would have been unusable until Tuesday afternoon.

Several BBQs, all in poor condition in the shed.

Foul smell in the shed. The smell from whatever is going on in the shed is not something you want to experience on holiday.

The rubbish bin full by Wednesday and was not emptied on when due on Thursday and still not emptied by the end of our stay. Advised not to leave bags outside, so we accumulated rubbish in the kitchen area. This became increasingly stressful.

Rayburn was dirty with a film of grease over the top. Operation of the Rayburn remained a mystery. Seems to be a replacement control panel with dymo tape labelling and no relevance to the instructions on the door. On Friday, the oven part seemed to just stop working.

The cleaner arrived as we were leaving and specifically asked if there were any problems. My Wife and Son spoke to her about most of the cleanliness issues and explained the situation regarding the rubbish.

Response from the property owner was to suddenly become interested in the property condition and claim our security deposit to pay for “extra cleaning” required following weeks / months of neglect. Pity not so diligent before we arrived.

Cancelled next years booking. Now in dispute to resolve the security deposit issue: An apology from the owners would have been more appropriate than a cheap attempt at retaliation.

In over 30 years of staying on Anglesey, I’ve never stayed in a place as beautiful as Cable Cottage.
With four children, all of different ages, this cottage is perfect. One or two baby gates will be needed if you have a toddler but other than that the cottage was safe, secure, very homely and clean.
The outside space before the beach is perfect for children playing where you can see them if you have chores to do.
The best part, no WiFi. Complete family time for us. Not to everyone’s like, but if you need WiFi you can roam the island and pick it up somewhere.
The beach on the doorstep, whether it’s for swimming, paddling, exploring rock pools, crabbing, watching the sunset or just opening the window to listen to the waves, Crugmor has it in abundance. Perfect little spot and you’ll find you have no real need to venture elsewhere unless you fancy a short stroll over the tops to Church Bay.
Stock up on some wood, the fire is a real delight of an evening and really easy to clean out in the morning.
I highly recommend this property and all it has to offer. I will be rebooking every year.

Had a brilliant week away at Cable Cottage. The location just cannot be beaten. We all had a brilliant time and will be visiting again.

Amazing location, especially in the current climate. Quite remote down a quiet country lane but with 1 minute access to a 'private' beach and a short 10 minute walk to the local village with a lovely pub. (The church bay in, up a steep hill but fab views from the beer garden).

Communication was ok the details of the cottage arrived by email a few days before departure.

Cleanliness in the cottage was sadly lacking, we've stayed in a few places since lockdown was lifted and have always been advised of the stringent level of cleaning since COVID reared its ugly head and the new guidelines rentals are having to adhere too.....

On arrival at the cottage we moved some furniture (Rugs, tables etc as we have 1 year old and needed to 'protect' certain parts of the cottage from her, we moved them all back before we left) on moving these items we found a lot of dog hair under the tables and rugs. Including the chairs in the kitchen.
Now.. we don't mind a bit of missed hair, we have a cat and know how hard it is to get it all, but this was clumps of hair and according to the guest book no one had been in since September. It did then make us suspicious about how clean the rest of the cottage was.

The bedding and toilets however were clean, and we gave all the plates, cutlery and glasses we were using a quick wash and then continued to use the same ones for the stay. The kitchen it very well stocked with everything you could ever wish for.

The view from the cottage is amazing and the sunsets fantastic!

Overall we would recommend due to the location and the cottage itself is very well equipped for a family or extended family to spend a lovely time.

HINT---- Wait for the tide to go out on the beach, its a pebble beach when the tide is in but once it goes out you get amazing swaves of sand and you can walk all along the coastline if you are willing to scramble over some small rocks.

It was our fourth stay at Cable Cottage and we were again not disappointed. After lockdown it seemed like paradise and we were lucky enough to be the first guests allowed and that felt very special especially as we had not seen our son and family who we shared the house with since January.
The house is warm, the cooking is sometimes challenging on the Rayburn! The views are spectacular.
Roll on next year.......

The layout of the cottage enables people to have space and privacy but at the same time the large kitchen is fabulous for family meals. Lounge is also a comfortable space to relax together. Superb views. Will be back hopefully.

We love Cable Cottage and hope to return for a third time soon! I have only scored good on customer services as although Gary was extremely helpful he did tell me there was not a cot at the cottage but we did in fact find one in the cupboard. We needed 2 so it would have been good to know that.
The double bed in the downstairs room is not very comfortable according to my son and daughter-in-law which is a shame as the others are super.
We were very confused about the rubbish as we could not recycle as there seemed to be only one bin and the instructions were not clear what to do and what colour the bin was. .
Minor hiccups but just thought you should know.

We stayed for one week with our dog at Cable Cottage and can only say that we had the most relaxing, peaceful, and enjoyable holiday.
The position, right next to beach & on coastal path could not be bettered, and the cottage had everything to ensure a comfortable stay. We would have no hesitation in recommending this cottage to anyone who wants to get away from it all and just chill out.

Fantastic location but still have issues with hot water when we have six adults and two teenagers. It took all day for everyone to have showers. Radiators in the lounge not working and no glass in wood burner so couldn't use. There was a portable electric heater in the lounge when we arrived.

Cable cottage is a beautiful cottage in a quiet location- which was just what we were looking for.
The little beach is right outside your window and we had it to ourselves most of the time, apart from the odd dogwalker.
The cottage itself is very well equipped with everything we needed for a pleasant stay. The only thing I would say is that the garden isn't fully enclosed -so if you have young children or a dog that likes to wander, just be mindful of this.
The garden however is lovely and big, with plenty of sitting areas. We particularly liked the astro turf seating area at the side of the house where you could sit with a drink looking out to sea. Perfect!
We had a lovely stay at the cottage and have already booked our next stay there!.

If it were mine I would convert the small snug room to another bathroom so that those upstairs didn't have to walk through the kitchen to use the bathroom

We have yearned to stay in this cottage for several years and it lived up to and beyond our expectations!! Beautifully appointed - not just relying on the stunning location! - and we were so comfortable here. We especially loved the astroturf seating area - this was inspired and much used by us. And also of course the wonderful kitchen with the perfect long table - lots of space for all.

Have just spent our second Easter at Cable Cottage and our third holiday in this wonderful location. Despite some cold and wet weather we were snug and warm thanks to the wood burner and the Aga whilst we watched some angry seas. Looking forward to our next visit in August.

A beautiful location. We have stayed several times now at cable and keep coming back. Beautiful coastline. Fab cafe just along the road.

Fabulous cottage located on a small cove. Be aware that a well used coastal path passes between the cottage ans sea.
The house is beautifully appointed and very roomy. All the beds are comfy and linen fresh and clean.
All loos are located at one end of the building , which is away from the upstairs bedroom)

For a get away from it all, you could not find a better place. Stunning views, so close to the beach & walks. It was hard to get use to no phone or internet; but that's what holidays should be for!
