Location was very good but property more suited to a summer break than a winter one. Owner was helpful but the house was cold.

The highlight of the property was the local beach just 2 minutes walk away. My 4 grandchildren aged 4 - 8 had such fun swimming, playing in an inflatable boat, damming the incoming streams and collecting firewood for toasted marshmallows. They used the beach in the late afternoon or evening, not as a full day activity. Sunsets were colourful and good to watch.

The property itself was rather tired and damp smelling but the beds were comfortable and the condition did not detract from our stay. The showers were usable - just.

The location was good with easy access to main roads.

The property as a destination is highly recommended to families or group of people which would like to fully relax in closeness to the nature. Walking distance to beach, a bit longer stroll through mountains or a bonefire without interuptions.

What a wonderful place, especially for dogs, an amazing large enclosed garden, a wonderful walk down the lane to the beach and a deserted beach our 4 dogs loved this place.
Accommodation for our large family was good, plenty of space for everyone, and everything we needed, we loved it!

Tal Eryr is a perfect cottage for a family group in an amazing location close to the sea. We had 6 adults, 4 small (5-7 year old) children and a dog and the garden was perfect for sitting out while the children played.
The kitchen is well equipped, the upstairs living room had plenty of seating and great views across the sea, all the facilities were good and in good condition.
We'd love to go back and will make every effort to find a week next year.
Costal Holidays were very helpful and a pleasure to deal with.

Lovely cottage in a stunning location .
Large secure garden which our dogs really enjoyed .
Short walk down a wooded path leads you down to the beach which was heaven as so quiet .
Cottage large and spacious and well equipped .
Garden lovely to sit out in .
Only slight negative was the garden furniture was tired and some of it broken .
Just need a few comfy chairs out there to relax in and would be perfect .

Phil the owner could not have been more helpful really accommodating.
Definitely would love to go back .

Tal Eryr is a very spacious house, and is ideally located in a peaceful location with lovely sea views and easy access to the beach. I say peaceful location, but it was a shame about the microlite (or something similar) which seemed to be circling the property every day for extended periods of time. The enclosed garden was great for the dog too. We did feel that the cleanliness could have been better, especially considering the potential risk of covid-19, and noted a couple of places where it didn't look like cleaning had been carried out particularly thoroughly. Having the living room upstairs (and kitchen downstairs) was not ideal for us, especially as the stairs are steep and our dog found them difficult to climb up. The owner was very friendly and Coastal Holidays provided a very good service.
