Part of Duirinish Lodge, The Wing enjoys access to the surrounding garden and woodlands with paths leading you to viewpoints and hidden gems! Sat high above Duirinish, the estate offers views over the countryside towards the Applecross Hills and the Isle of Skye. There is a lounge, well equipped kitchen, a double bedroom, two single bedrooms and a bathroom. There is a patio area for enjoying al fresco dining! There is access to the games room and drying rooms too. Pets are very welcome at The Wing and the paths through the gardens will keep them and you exercised!

We spent a week at the Wing at Duirinish Lodge. The Wing is in an beautiful location and provides excellent accommodation with all amenities. With wonderful views overlooking Loch Carron and access to 18 acres of gardens, The Wing is a perfect location for relaxation and for exploring the Western Highlands. The traditional music sessions in Plockton, 2 miles way, were particularly enjoyable.

The two comfortable and well-equipped summerhouses offer alternative locations for guests to relax, in our case, for writing and playing music.

We could easily have spent longer at the Wing and highly recommend it.

What can i say this cottage is like no other we have stayed in in thirty years it is surrounded by its own forrest that has wide gravel paths throughout secret benches and seats for you to find. Two summerhouses to sit in both have electric and contain books to read music to listen to teddies for children play with even heaters just in case.It has red squirrels if you are lucky enough to see them and owls that keep you awake in the night,The views are to die for you can see skye and the applecross peninsular and as the light changes so do the views. If you have a dog as we do you can take them there i something special being able to walk your dog of the lead in total safety especially at night by moonlight. The property itself is very warm and cosy just the way we hoped it would be everything you need is there including a welcome pack wine biscuits etc. There is a games room next door which is stunning you have to see it to understand what i mean.Starting to ramble book it and judge for yourself you will love it.
