Five properties set amongst 633 acres of farmland with stunning views to the Lammermuir Hills. Each property has its own outside hot tub, all have ensuite bathrooms.. The Lodge sleeps 2, The Ramsay sleeps 4, The Lamont and The Buchanan both sleep 6 and the Capercaillie sleeps 10. All properties are within walking distance of each other. Many couples enjoy plenty of space so there is a special price for just 2 people in the larger properties. There are lots of walks, treasure trail, puzzle trail, jogging route, woods to explore on the doorstep. The area is renowned for walking, cycling, golf, and fishing. Edinburgh is a half hour away as is the Coast. The Scottish Borders itself has a lot to offer the visitor as well.
Airhouses is the perfect place to unwind. It is one of Scotland's undiscovered gems with a quiet beauty which changes with the Seasons.
The Capercaillie is a beautiful house, clean, spacious and light. It had everything and more that we needed. The setting on the farm is really lovely and peaceful. So relaxing watching the ponies and admiring the stunning view.
We have been to Airhouses on many occasions, stayed in all the lodges and it never disappoints. With a great location, extremely comfy beds, views that you could never get tired of as well as fantastic amenities including a hot tub - they have thought and cater for everything you need. Walks, animals to feed, a little shop in case you forgot something, this is our favourite way to spend a weekend. Complete relaxation but with a feeling of home. Thanks again for a fabulous break - see you soon Fi
Very impressed with high standard of accommodation, views were just amazing and so much privacy, hot tub lovely too.
Location was good, not too far to drive into Edinburgh although so relaxing at the cabin/hot tub you don’t really need to go anywhere!
Thanks again Martin & Carol, by far the best log cabins we have stayed in, we will be back!
The Buchanan is perfectly situated in rolling farmland with stunning views.
The attention to detail from the owners Carol and Martin, with help from Damien was second to none. From the lovely welcome pack, to the slippers and robe for the hot tub and then beyond with the books, games and maps to while away a wet hour or two (it is Scotland after all!).
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the kids enjoyed the feeding of the farm animals and the adventure trail, we enjoyed the peace and tranquillity that the Buchanan beholds.
This was our second visit to airhouses and again everything was as wonderful as we remember from our first visit. Great location and beautiful setting. The Lodge is wonderful retreat for couples looking for peaceful chilling 5star with hot tub.
