Kittiwake House is a stunning 6 bedroom house in the centre of Braunton 10 mins from the 3 miles of golden sands at Saunton Sands. The house has been recently renovated to a very high standard with an open plan living area and a lovely walled garden ideal for children and dogs to play safely.

Every single one of us loved staying in the house, it was beautifully decorated and well equipped for all our needs. The garden and veranda areas was perfect for bbqs, quiet drinks and yoga with the sunrise. Internally the bedrooms were comfy, cost and the downstairs area was perfect for chilling and dining, the kitchen had everything we needed - it was well stocked. The location was ideal as it was close to Braunton with many shops, takeaways and coffee pick ups. We also spent alot of time at Saunton Sands which was just down the road, which is a great surf beach. Thank you for accommodating us.

We adored our stay at Kittiwake. It is perfectly located with a fantastic outdoor space and ‘secret’ garden beyond, brilliant for the children and dog to run about. The house way exceeded our expectations with a wonderfully large and comfortable living area and an enviably kitted out kitchen.
My only comment is that our bed was pretty uncomfortable. We slept in the end double (by the attic stairs). However after swapping the mattress with the middle double bed it was better but the pillows and duvet were weirdly lumpy!
Overall a fantastic house

Morning

We stayed at Kittlewake house for a long weekend, we have no complaints, the house had everything you could ask for a weekend especially in the kitchen. It is a beautiful house, it was a shame we came in November as we could have explored the high street and maybe the garden. It is beautifully designed and the beds are so comfortable and the bedding is of very high quality. The house is so homely and would definitely consider coming down again, we are a large family of adults and it accommodated us perfectly. Thank you.

The house is situated in a great spot in Braunton. The shops are just a few minutes walk, and there are plenty of pubs around too. The check in process is easy (keys in a lock box) and the procedure was well explained by the housekeeper prior to arrival. There is enough off-road parking for 5 or 6 cars, so parking wasn't an issue.

We were a party of 11 adults and one baby. We all had loads of space and not once did anybody feel claustraphobic.

All bedrooms and bathrooms were spotless when we got there, and towels etc all provided as described. The high-chair was missing but it took one text message to the housekeeper and within an hour she was there with the high chair, perfect resolution.

The living space is comfy and the dining table easily big enough for us all.

The kitchen is probably the most well stocked kitchen I've ever seen in terms of cutlery, crockery, pand, utensils etc. They were good enough to leave milk and chocolates for us on arrival, which was a nice touch.

The garden is massive, really massive. Just when you think you've reached the end it keeps going.

The booking process and communication was brilliant too, which makes a big difference. All in all this is probably the best property we have ever stayed in and I cannot recommend it enough
