Chapel Barn is highly suitable for two adults with two small children, or as we used it, two adults with a large dog! The grass area out the back of the property with the stunning views was a real bonus. I can only imagine this would be lovely to eat outside in the summer months. We wanted for nothing in terms of what was supplied such as utensils, crockery etc. and I would not hesitate to recommend Chapel Barn. The standard of decor was also impressive and clearly care is taken to maintain these standards given the throughput of guests. The weather was a great bonus and Clyne Farm is a ...more
Wonderfully atmospheric and even enjoyed washing up in the Edwardian kitchen. Excellent tour by Geoff followed by Welsh tea, and we slept in the family bedrooms with great views of Swansea. Would highly recommend the delicious Welsh lunch as well. Do find tme to explore the nearby Cwmdonkin Park to complete the experience. Thank you!
Fantastic location with beautiful views. Loads of space for our kids to play and make noise without disturbing anyone!
Awesome location! The hayloft could use some outside renovation. Water pressure in the shower could be higher.
Easy booking, direct to Clyne Farm. Great location and having the living room upstairs is good to make use of the view of the sea and the common. Direct access to the common on a bridle path for local walks. Shops are 2 or 3 minutes drive away. Very clean, with recently painted walls. The kitchen area has been refitted recently to a good standard but the bathroom needs the same treatment. Don't forget to take soap, washing up liquid, kitchen roll and similar. Would I recommend to others? It depends who they are and what their priorities are, but probably "no" until the shower is more effec...more
Amazing location - with beautiful views from the site, a great walk over the common and close proximity to the centre of Swansea and the coast roads. The barn is definitely small but it did the job - very good value for money. I’ve already recommended to friends.
Horseshoe cottage comfortably accommodated 5 adults (+ dog) and is ideal for families or couples. Loads of living space and fantastic views over Swansea and the sea from the living room. We will definitely be back. Thank you
We had a very pleasant stay in the Old Schoolroom. The views are exceptional from the conservatory and the space was big enough for us all to socialise comfortably (there were 18 of us altogether staying in The Old Schoolroom, The Stable cottage and in 2 camper vans). The cottage did feel a bit unloved and could do with a really good springclean. Things could do with a bit of updating too e.g. the shower. Think you could do more with the cottages - you have a fabulous location and they could be amazing!
The location of the cottages was very good and central for walking and cycling. We were however very disappointed with the accommodation it is in need of a deep clean. There were six of us in stable cottage and one shower over the bath which was not working, I did phone the owner who said he wasn’t sure what he could do about it and suggested we used the campers showers over in the barn unfortunately they weren’t working either. The accommodation was cold and the radiators did not get hot I actually slept in my cardigan and socks on. The wooden balcony was rotten in places and not safe to...more
