We loved our week at Mornacott, it was so peaceful and a real treat to be away after the last two years. From the minute we arrived at Barn Cottage we breathed a deep sigh of contentment, the cottage is very homey and welcoming and we all tucked into the delicious scones, kindly left to welcome us. We made the most of our time here, not really leaving site but making the most of the facilities; the biggest draw being our own designated time in the pool and sauna complex, allowing us to completely switch off. A short but sweet stay at the amazing Old Stables. We came down to catch up with family and the cottage did not disappoint. It was warm and cosy with enough room for all of us. The sofas were extremely comfortable and just the right place to curl up with a book and a glass of wine. Each of the three bedrooms have their own en-suite so it was lovely not to fight over the shower in the morning. The weather was against us but we took the opportunity to stay in and make use of the pool and sauna complex. We organsised an online shop to be delivered and they found us easily. We have stay at Mornacott Cottages regularly and would highly recommend it. The location is ideal for exploring North Devon and the facilities are first class. Our children love the large swimming pool and the games room. Highly recommended.
