We needed a cheer up after a bad year, what to do, visit our favourite place. Fearn was ready & waiting for us, a welcome pack to keep us going until we got our shopping meant we settled in straight away. A welcome from Rosie & Simon, Bonnie soon arrived & sat on the windowsill asking to come in. We felt like we had come home, the property was available so we asked and stayed an extra couple of days. Had more visits from Bonnie and Luna & Marley joined in as well. Wonderful Sunday lunch at The Golden Lion, can wholeheartedly recommend a visit there. When can we come back again? ...more
Little White Alice is a lovely location far enough away from everything but close enough to get to wherever you want to go. The eco lodges have everything you need for your stay - all the kitchen bits you need (including teapots and coffee pots), DVDs, books and even some amazing honey, cornish salt, bread and cornish butter. Our little family absolutely loved hunkering down and chilling out in Luis - the most comfortable, kooky, cosy and perfectly formed eco pod we could imagine. Such impressive use of space, creative bespoke joinery and exceptional attention to detail, right down to the wee hare cabinet knobs! My husband and I broke in the new year in the wood fired hot tub which proved to be the best EVER Hogmanay party - just a shame the stars weren’t out! Perfect base for exploring coastal spots, and even managed a wild swim in Nanjizal Cove - brrrr! Thank you Rosie and Simon.
