Despist the rain which we have for most of the time we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and thought that our hosts were very welcoming and helpful; the apartment was very spacious for the two of us with a wonderful kitchen, sitting room bedroom and bathroom. It was warm, clean and had every convenience. The setting was magical with lovely views and the animals made it all a very happy stay. It is along away from where we live but we would most certainly love to come back again.
Three generations of my family had a wonderful time at Pitt Farm. The five children adored the pool and found being able to scamper to the playground and games room independently was super exciting. We enjoyed the tennis courts and had a wonderful morning walking the alpacas and feeding the goats and pig. The farm is about 20-30 minutes from every beach you could possibly fancy. The walk to the village up the bridlepath is simply lovely. Our hosts were wonderful, so friendly, laid back and accommodating. The bread and croissants they bake to order are delicious and the little shop on site is...more
Highly recommend. Lovely place to stay with activities and fab hosts. We particularly enjoyed the pool and the tennis court.
13 of us spent a lovely weekend at Pelham cottage. Our children & our grandchildren were we’ll catered for, & Pete & Sue - the owners - could not have done more to ensure that our stay was perfect. Scones with jam & cream on arrival was a particularly special treat!
We have visited Pitt Farm several times and always have a great time. The setting is lovely and Pete and Sue are welcoming and relaxed hosts, and always looking for opportunities to make improvements to the experience. All the usual bases are covered for a family holiday (indoor pool, trampoline, tennis, etc) but we love the little extras like cream tea (and bottle of wine) on arrival, fresh croissants and bread available every morning and holiday treats from the honesty shop. Pete and Sue also get it right in terms of leaving guests to their own privacy, but always being available whenever n...more
We are on our way back from a fabulous week at Pitt farm. The accommodation at Kineton cottage was excellent, fitting nine of us in comfortably. There was room for all of us around the dining table, and room to relax in the lounge. The house is upside down, which does mean if you want to dine outside on the lovely rattan furniture that you need to make a number of trips up and down the stairs. But this small drawback is more than made up for by the lovely setting. The pool is excellent and spacious, the games room kept the kids out of our hair, The tennis courts and alpacas were great hits...more
Really enjoyed our stay in Snaffle, property a bit tired but was fine especially with a 5 & 6 year old. The honesty shop was great & we had some lovely croissants. Peter & Sue are great hosts & we were sorry to leave
