We had a fabulous holiday in this homely and well equipped apartment. The location is amazing - perfect for walkers - the walk to the headland Morte Point boasts stunning views - there is the Barricane and Coombesgate beaches nearby, and you are just a short distance from the main surfing beach at Woolacombe. Mortehoe village has lots of places to eat, including two pubs, (one just opposite the apartment), a tea room, and a little village shop. Another lovely stay in High Tides, Woolacombe. Apartment is well appointed and very comfortable, with everything we needed. A fabulous view over the bay and up the valley. A quiet location though only a short walk to the shops etc. We will definitely be rebooking!

Beachside is absolutely superb. It is spacious, comfortable, well decorated and very tidy & clean. The main thing is the view - from the settee, you can see for miles, all the way along the beach to Putsborough. It is spectacular. The bedroom is a good size and there is plenty of storage space, and 2 bathrooms ! I really struggle to find any fault or concern with Beachside except the car parking is a bit tight but that is specified in the description so you are aware. As I said in the title, I have never rated a place so highly. We have already booked 2 more visits.
Have stayed at this house many times over the years and it is always great. Literally a stones throw from the beach. We enjoy the sea and sand no matter what the weather conditions. If you aren’t willing to wrap up and walk for miles along the beautiful coast then this might not be for you.
Stayed here with my mum for the week. We had such a lovely time at this very comfortable and homely apartment. Plenty of space for us and kitted out with everything you could need. The balcony is fab to sit out on with a glass surround so you can still see the view. Loved the bay window and spent a lot of time sitting on the comfy chairs positioned in it. Would stay here again.
Perfect location and has the best window view to watch the ocean and world go by with a coffee. The flat is to a high standard and is immaculate
This house was described as 'insane' by our teenagers - which is probably as good as it gets in the world of teenage compliments. The words fabulous and luxurious come to mind and the location is unbeatable. Within minutes from the from door we were in the surf and a only short sprint to the hot tub with a beer or prosecco at the end of the day. The town is equally close and the car stayed parked all week other than for a rib ride trip in Ilfracombe. Enjoyed a relaxing stay at The Beach Hut in Woolacombe. The property offers stunning views over the bay along with a short walk to the local cafes, bars and restaurant. Offering a modern and sharp interior The Beach Hut has everything you need for a relaxing stay and we highly recommend. A couple of minor teething issues were promptly addressed by Maddie at Holiday Home Hunter which meant we could get on with enjoying our break.
Wonderful stay, in a wonderful location. There is everything you ned in the apartment to be comfortable. It was clean and there was a lovely welcome pack on arrival. It would be nice to be able to get into the apartment at 2pm as 4pm is a bit late when you have been travelling from early in the morning.
Keep coming back - booked again for next year. Not really suitable for the less mobile but once in the cottage it’s fine so my husband struggles up the steps just to enjoy the peace and views. The housekeepers do a really good job and have been so helpful. Looking forward to next July (if not before ?!)
The apartment is in the perfect position but when we arrived we noticed that the first bathroom toilet water was running, which we reported. We then noticed that the hand held shower in the same bathroom wasn't working. The door bathroom door wouldn't shut properly. In the second walk in shower room the tiles moved under your feet by the door, the door would only open so much as the water from the shower had distorted the bottom of the door. We’ve been holidaying in Woolacombe for many, many years and this was the first time that our family of 3 generations and the dog stayed at Combe Cottage, which is at the Combesgate end of the Esplanade. Wow, what a find; beautiful spacious accommodation, fantastic views, such a lovely, well equipped kitchen for dining or just sitting having a cuppa whilst watching the waves. A great bonus was the side porch enabling us to change our boots and wipe the dog down after a mucky walk before going into the house - great utility room too. No.2 is a lovely apartment in a fantastic location. Right above Barricane with a view across the seafront from Baggy Point to Morte Point - it’s nothing short of fabulous. The apartment itself is equipped for the family that own it - not just for visitors. Feels very homely. Always clean and with good appliances in the kitchen. Great showers, etc. My only beef is the last couple of years the downstairs access has been blocked because of an issue with the wall by the front door. So, you can’t get in and out from the front of the building at all. That could be inconvenient for some visitor...more
Good, spacious, modern apartment with easy allocated parking space. Very close to the beach as well as the shops and restaurants of Woolacombe. Great views across the bay from the balconies.
Apartment was clean and the views were good! You have to walk up two flights of stairs so if you have mobility issues there is no lift. Overall it was great. You overlook the car park but as it was November it was quiet so no issues but I could imagine in summer it could get loud. Would return to this place and I do recommend it.
Lovely location. Spacious apartment with everything you need. Home from home. Good to have cooker etc so can eat in aswell.
Our favourite area to stay in Woolacombe with great views, pretty beach coves and beautiful walks to Morthoe. Overcombe provides everything you need for a home from home stay, always feel very relaxed there. Fantastic views from the lounge and bedroom, we will be back soon!
Lovely, warm penthouse apartment with terrific views out of all windows. Just perfect for a short break whether to hop across the road and onto the beach for a walk or to pop into the village to the pub (The Jube) or the shops or stride up the hill to Mortehoe. Comfy and functional, with excellent facilities. Would suit a couple or small family, as two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The recliner chair with a view out to Lundy or the waves crashing against the rocks….a perfect place to unwind.

This property and views never disappoints as this is our third stay in this property. Everything excellent, no complaints and convient for Woolacombe, the beach and surrounding area. The property was outstanding and everything was catered for thank you
This was our 3rd time using 3 Pandora Court and as usual we thoroughly enjoyed our holiday stay there. The weather was a mix of everything but when the sun shone, we enjoyed using the wonderful terrace, and when the rain came, we were able to enjoy the apartment's comfortable interior. The proximity to the beach and town is always so welcomed. We will be back!

This is our second time at Old Bakery Cottage, we loved it so much last year we came back! The cottage is perfectly fitted out and provides perfect sea views from the balcony. The facilities in Mortehoe are fantastic for such a small place. The 2 pubs are within a stones throw of the property and both serve excellent food and beer. The tearooms are absolutely lovely, the bakery serves beautiful pasties and the post office is perfect for any essentials. We have stayed in this apartment many times over the past 25 years or more and as the title says it has one of the best views and locations in Woolacombe. The new owners have updated many elements now with a comfortable sofa, new ( quite tall) comfortable ziplink bed and lots more equipment in the kitchen than before. Very nice electric curtain but I am not sure that the single curtain arrangement is the best set up given how much sun this apartment gets, split curtains would give more flexibility and allow use of the sofa in the shade without eliminating the view.The shower room is clean and ...more
This was our second stay at 8 The Beach and we are already booked for a week in September. The apartment suits us and our woofer perfectly and we find it comfortable. It should be mentioned the road from the apartment is steep. The apartment is on three levels and therefore stairs (though not many steps) between each floor. The main bedroom is spacious with a quirky wardrobe and a reasonable size en-suite. Great place to stay. Only point of note is that the extractor and heated tower rail need fixing in the ensuite ... there is a message to request that the extractor is used to prevent build up of steam etc but it wasn't working. Consequently, the room steams up and you can see signs of rust on the towel rail.
It was our second year staying at Belmont. This place is perfect for us. The living area is of such a good size, plenty of room to move around. Love the kitchen and it’s really useful to have a full size freezer instead of a small compartment at the top of the fridge. Everything is lovely and clean here and has a nice feel to it. The bedrooms have enough room for what is needed for a one or two weeks stay (the main bedroom having a large hanging wardrobe and shelves too). Burnside sits on a large elevated plot with fabulous views over Woolacombe Bay. Externally the house shows a few signs of its age, but don't worry, inside the house is comfortable with a large well equipped kitchen / dining area and utility with all usual appliances, crockery etc. The dining end has comfortable settee / corner unit. There is no doubt this properties location is perfect for the beautiful sea view and perfect to cross the road & be on the beach! We had a lovely time the property is lovely, a few minor things like a 6 seater outside table for a 8 person property was annoying and the glass dining area was very hot!! Weather was 21/22 when we went but if it was any hotter it would be unbearable to eat there- maybe some kind of A/C to allow all year use.
Hello we had booked 5 little beech some years ago and was hoping that it would be a similar standard however i felt the accommodation was very basic and tatty with a limited supply of kitchen equipment. i realise there was a discount but would not of paid this for the standard of the accommodation. I also understand that it was dog friendly however i don't understand why this should mean a poorer standard if accommodation as we always do a clean before leaving a property. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Honeysuckle Cottage. It is in a great location near to Ilfracombe and Woolacombe. It is a home from home with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was also so lovely to wake to to hear lambs bleating in the morning. Would highly recommend this spacious getaway.
We had a wonderful week, staying at lower deck. The apartment was fresh clean and had everything you could need for the week! The views were spectacular from the outside seating area, and even our dog loved sitting and watching the world go by! We would be happy to stay in this apartment again!
