We have stayed at Cliff House for several years. The house is very clean with good facilities and the location overlooking the bay is absolutely stunning. Looking forward to going back next year.
We have been coming to this property for many years, as always we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The view is stunning and lovely to wake up to, rooms clean and comfy and it’s the perfect location. Hope to be coming in the new year.
Excellent Accommodation Fantastic views across the road to the beach & continuing as far as Putsborough. Unfortunately building work was in progress opposite with a large crane & digger operating when we were there. It was quite interesting watching it ! One day was a little noisy . It didn’t spoil our holiday. We love Woolacombe & have been visiting for the past 50 + years. 5 star
This is a lovely property overlooking Woolacombe's beautiful beach. The flat is very well presented, with 2 en-suites, and a splendid kitchen. The bedrooms are comfortable and well-equipped, and the flat feels light and spacy, with big windows providing great views. The living/dining area is perhaps a bit small for 6 people, so doesn't provide any comfy seating to take advantage of the amazing outlook. However the newly refurbed 'Barn' in the village centre is popular for taking in the sun, Barricane beach just a few steps from the flat is an amazing suntrap, with a cute daytime cafe and curry...more
This house was described as 'insane' by our teenagers - which is probably as good as it gets in the world of teenage compliments. The words fabulous and luxurious come to mind and the location is unbeatable. Within minutes from the from door we were in the surf and a only short sprint to the hot tub with a beer or prosecco at the end of the day. The town is equally close and the car stayed parked all week other than for a rib ride trip in Ilfracombe. The house itself is beautifully decorated and furnished with all you could need and incredibly warm and dry considering the high ceilings and the...more
Just returned from a lovely stay at The Beach House, Woolacombe, this was a second visit to a great house in a stunning location. Once again it didn't fail to impress us very clean and modern with everything provided. We've already booked a return visit.
The apartment is in the most fantastic location. It is so comfortable and was clean and fresh when we arrived. There were fresh muffins left for us and some milk in the fridge which was lovely after a long journey.
We have been coming to Combe Cottage for several years and cannot fault anything. Always clean and well maintained and the sea views are fabulous.
Second time staying at this apartment. Great accomodation with parking. Very close to the beach and restaurants.
This our 3rd year in a row staying at 5 Narracott and I must say the new sun room which has been built is fantastic we loved it, unfortunately the weather this year wasn’t too good lots of rain but we were still able to admire the beautiful views sat on the comfy lounge chairs through the bifold glass doors which lead out onto the patio which is now edged with glass panels giving you an unrestricted view all the way to the beach. We love this apartment it has everything you could need, we have already booked it again for next year.
We enjoyed our week at Shellborough. The weather was wonderful, sunny every day. The property was as we remembered it from the last time we visited. One or two improvements had been made. Overall a comfortable, spacious property. Only two of us but plenty of room for two. The views from the balcony are what makes this a place to revisit. They did not disappoint, wave watching and lovely sunsets. One thing to be aware of are the stairs. Obviously, a penthouse has quite a few. These are not a problem for an able bodied person but need to be considered if you are elderly or disabled.
Yet again a very enjoyable week in Rosalie. It has everything we need for a young family and is dog friendly. Clean, comfortable and perfect location.
Cliff cottage is a wonderful holiday cottage, with fabulous sea views. The house is well equipped and offers ample space for four adults and three children. The outside showers and adjacent utility room are extremely useful when coming in from the beach. There is plenty of outdoor space and space for drying wet suits and boards. After a day on the beach it is so lovely to sit on the terrace of an evening, drink in hand…….just watching the sun go down. The Grandchildren (and the adults) are already looking forward to next years holiday in Cliff Cottage.
An excellent apartment with a stunning view overlooking Combesgate Bay. It is a very comfortable and well equipped place to stay within walking distance of shops and places to eat in Woolacombe and Mortehoe. I can’t recommend it enough.
We have enjoyed many lovely stays in Overcombe. The views are superb and it is well positioned for walking into Woolacombe village and along the SW Coast path. It is cosy even when the weather is inclement and is well equipped.
Comfortable stay at 5 Hartland, with lovely sea view from living room and kitchen. Super close to the sea front.
Accommodation in perfect position close to all amenities. Beautiful view. Comfortable and very clean . We have stayed there since the apartment was built every year and have booked for next year. Holiday Home Hunter very helpful in booking your holiday.
Would definitely recommend this 3 bedroom apartment with one of the best locations in Woolacombe. The views from the master bedroom are simply stunning, but the best feature is the very roomy terrace overlooking Woolacombe main beach and Barricane! Our family loved it and would happily return in the future.
This is the third time we have stayed at this house .it is a comfortable, spacious house ideal for families ,in a quiet location .There is a public footpath right next to the house which leads into woolacombe taking approx 20 -30 minutes to walk .We have always enjoyed our stay at Ivycott .
We really enjoyed our stay at Sealoft and were blessed with excellent weather in September to enjoy the coastline and the wonderful views from the accommodation. Woolacombe/Mortehoe is an excellent base for getting out and about to North Devon's delights and we visited lots of lovely places during our week. It's about a 20 minute walk to the shop and restaurants. Great coffee at Meraki and beautiful lobster dinner at Beach House were highlights. A few maintenance issues came up during the week but they were responded to really quickly and did not detract from our stay.
A good well equipped comfortable cottage in the middle of the village with the bonus of a terrace with a wonderful sea view. Car can be parked in public car park 5 minutes away at a reasonable cost. Would recommend and return to this property.
Lovely flat. Clean and tidy with good quality appliances and linen in the bedrooms . Great views , Very warm .
The apartment is spacious and light. It felt holidayish when you first entered. However it’s a very ‘tired’ apartment and really needs some love. The mattress in the main room is very uncomfortable and desperately needs replacing. It’s up a very steep slope which my 6 yr old struggled with, after being in the sea. We ended up paying to park. This may not be a problem if you don’t have tired 6yr olds! Over all it is a nice apartment but felt a little grotty as it really needs a refurb, decorating. I’m not sure I’d go back, maybe a bit pricey for what it is, if I’m honest, but others may ...more
Brilliant week back at No 8. New look lounge is fab and we really enjoyed the new decor and furniture. Location is perfect for us - can choose a long beach walk or a coastal path in complete contrast the opposite direction. Really comfy beds, super shower rooms and a well provided kitchen with quality accessories. The upper floor with opening doors to the beaching view is awesome and we had near perfect weather for our week!
The Lookout was all that we hoped it would be for a weeks holiday in Woolacombe, the location and quality was perfect for a special family gathering that included our one year old grandson. Very clean, ease of parking and great views across the beach from the lounge, balcony and hot tub made for a very enjoyable stay. Holiday Home Hunters were great communicators and very helpful when contacting them for a small query that we had - would recommend!
Lovely holiday and great location, flat well equipped and very comfortable. Really enjoyed the week.
A lovely apartment, with a sae view and short walks to the beach and Woolacombe. All with it's own parking space, which is a definite bonus on busy Woolacombe days. If you're a surfer or have beach equipment, it really caters for that, as you have your own private, lockable shed in which to keep your kit (we managed to squeeze in a 9ft long board), and there an outside shower to rinse yourself and wetsuits, plus a washing line to dry your stuff. All of which make for a great holiday, and it's why we come back here. The apartment itself is really good, with a large lounge in which to rel...more
Fourth family holiday now in Woolacombe….have stayed in a variety of holiday rentals. I’d certainly recommend Holiday Home Hunter as the service was excellent. No 6 is a great place to stay….good location and comfortable.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Honeysuckle Cottage. It is in a great location near to Ilfracombe and Woolacombe. It is a home from home with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was also so lovely to wake to to hear lambs bleating in the morning. Would highly recommend this spacious getaway.
The outstanding feature for this flat was the view through the patio doors. Unfortunately, the glazing had blown which was disappointing. The fridge fell forward if too much weight in the front, some cupboards didn't have handles which proved awkward to open, poor quality mattresses and four flights of stairs to get to the property. The toilets wobbled, the seal on the shower doors had broken and generally looked like it needed a spruce up throughout. The carbon monoxide tester was beeping when we arrived and TV remote control batteries needed replacing. Compared to other holiday lets in the a...more
This was our second visit to Lower Deck. It is a fantastic apartment with a brilliant terrace and a kitchen/lounge with views towards Baggy and the sea. This apartment does not have all the white linen frills that others do but this is reflected in the price. For us it's perfect - always clean, very practical, walks from the door and a great view.
In a great location, comments from booking do state that the accommodation is on the tired side but would still expect certain standards to be met, the beds and bedding need replacing; we suffered with the mattresses and left the day before our last night. Gorgeous view but we had to clean the windows to see it. Also, owner is expecting builders imminently which we were told about a week before our holiday so no other option but to continue with our stay, lots of tooing and froing with emails, they turned up 8am on our first morning but then thankfully didn't return. We love Woolacombe and w...more
