Stayed here on an impromtu four night break to escape the Aberdeenshire snow and we weren't disappointed! A lovely, cosy cottage set in a beautiful valley with dog walks right outside the door. The hot tub, pool and games room were great and a real bonus. Kate, the owner, was very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed exploring nearby and would recommend Lindores Abbey Distillery, both the distillery tour and the history tour of the abbey, plus the Scottish Deer Centre which puts on impressive and knowledgable falconry deomstrations.
A group of us booked all 3 lodges for the weekend and we had a ball. What a beautiful place so comfortable with everything we needed. We had great fun in the pool, the hot tubs, sang karaoke, went for walks, played ping pong and relaxed by the fire. The lodges are spotless and well equipped. I had great communication with Katie prior to our arrival and she met some of our group at the beginning and end. Sorry they can’t read and went to meet the stags. We as a family used these facilities and it was everything and more than we expected The cottages were so well equipped and clean and had everything we needed It was great to have use all the facilities and the swimming pool and hot tubs were big hits We also had our dog with us and it was so good that each cottage was fenced in and gated which made it so safe for him too We had a wonderful time and sitting with the log fire on with the snow falling outside it was just perfect The cottages were so cosy and warm and was so good to have all the towels supplied We certainly enjoyed ou...more
