Back for a 2nd time to stay at the Wonderful Spixworth Hall Cottages. The perfect location for a get-a-way and see Norfolk. We will be back.
For a reunion of 14 friends and family Gaffers Cottage is ideal. The play barn is huge and in the grounds the play area, tennis court and walks through the snowdrops made it the perfect destination. It's close to Norwich Airport- we could see the aircraft coming and going on our walks around the estate which the kids loved-moreover we used the airport park and ride to get into Norwich itself. Gaffers comes with a piano, a modern well equipped kitchen, accessible downstairs bathroom and all the rooms in this rambling property were comfortable and spotless. Pond cottage is lovely and the grounds it sits on are too. It's a beautiful location. The games room and outdoor play ground kept our children happy. Jack was very accommodating to our need to change dates of our stay. The owners and staff were very friendly. We will definitely be visted again and would recommend Spinxworth Hall Cottages to everyone.
I honestly can't praise Spixworth Cottages enough. From the kind and proactive people running it, to the beautiful and comfortable accommodation (we stayed in The Granary), to the eye-wateringly beautiful surroundings, our stay went above and beyond our expectations. Easy access to the city, and a lovely walk along a country track to the local pub. There was even a play area for our kids, and a barn with lots of things to ride on (the kids, that is). We booked last-minute for Christmas. It was cheaper than the available Airbnbs, and just on another level. We will be back as soon as we can!
