We love this chalet for our family vacations in Chamonix, it is cosy and roomy. The view is amazing !

We've rented houses all over the US and a few in Europe and Chalet Rass is one of the best. We were six adults and there was plenty of room. The house is in great condition, well equipped, and with nice amenities for ski season - fireplace, ski book drier, sauna, outdoor hot tub. Ten80 added robes, slippers, toiletries and a welcome box of local goods - very nice touch. Heated floors throughout were a soooo nice. The views from the chalet are outstanding.
We cannot say enough about the Ten80 team - they are fantastic and I would happily work with them again. Peter met us at the chalet on arrival for a thorough walkthrough of the chalet and the surrounding area. We had requested some food items which were there on arrival and exactly what we were looking for. Ten80 were helpful with any questions we had and helped arrange transportation, obtain dinner reservations, and arrange a meal delivery to the house.
The house is located in a very nice area NE of Chamonix proper. We rented skis from Mandrillon Sports (also great), which is 750 meters away (10 mins walk). The nearest lift is Station La Fleger (connect to Brevant) - 1.1km or 15 mins walk. The other ski areas require a bus, train, or cab ride. The nearest bus stop is Les Vardesse (650m) and the nearest train is Les Praz (950m). The bus can be difficult at busy times - they don't stop if they are full - so we generally walked to Fleger or took an arranged car to the other areas. The train is great if it works for your itinerary. There is a nice little epiciere in Les Praz and a good apres ski spot (Le Petite Social), both a 10 minute walk away. Downtown Chamonix is 2km+ or about a 25 minute walk - we had pretty mild weather so enjoyed the walk in and back home, but it might be tough in very cold / windy weather.
Overall a great spot for a week of skiing in Chamonix.

Terrific Chalet well chosen by the team. A really super location with outstanding views of Mont Blanc and all the Aguilles. Very quiet yet only a few minutes in to town. Excellent service from everyone at Ten80 made out while stay seamless and super enjoyable. Thank you to all the team for such a great summer stay.

The location worked well for us and did not mind the 20 - 30 minute walk to downtown Chamonix (very pleasant walk along the river) or to Flegere gondola. Regardless, easy drive to all of the various mountains. We skied Flegere, Brevant and Grand Montets. The kitchen was well stocked, and 90% or so of the cabinetry worked fine. Great having hot tub and sauna. Thank you Peter and Elodie.

We stayed in Chalet Rass for two weeks and had an amazing experience. The location is just perfect. We're regular visitors to Chamonix and have stayed in different areas. This was by far the best -- walking distance into town along a magestic winter wonderland walking trail (no cars), and also walking distance to the Flegere gondola. It's a short drive or bus ride to Grand Montets/Argentiere or Le Tour but that's easy to do. The chalet is situated with a commanding unobstructed view of Mont Blanc which is just perfect. It takes your breath away. The space is large and well accomodated. The large living room has no pillars, making for a great usable space. We had nightly yoga session there for eight people and there is plenty of space. There is a hot tub and a sauna which we used every day. It was all just fabulous. The only constructive thing I'd have to say is the kids' room (three single beds) and adjacent double bedroom on the second floor have low ceilings (very low). So probably better for smaller children. The other three ensuite double bedrooms are perfect and super modern and nice. All-in it's a fantastic chalet and I'd happily stay there many more times in future.
