I was happy to return to Lammerlaw Cottage: the welcome hamper provided me with supplies for many days, such as tea, coffee, marmalade and jams, eggs, milk, butter, cheese ... and oats ( even my favourite brand ). It was a joy to take walks around the farm, watch the sheep and cattle. To go to places such as Lanark or Glasgow you simply walk along quiet country roads to Biggar and take the bus from there e.g. to Lanark to see New Lanark and the magnificent Falls of Clyde.
