A gorgeous boutique-style seaside cottage with sea views from almost all the windows of the cottage. Perfectly situated in the heart of the quaint fishing village of Craster. Perfect for families and couples at any time of the year, especially during the colder months, with a fabulous log-burning stove to enjoy after walks on the beach. Sleeps 6 guests. Free Wi-Fi. Up to 2 well-behaved dogs are welcome.

We were delighted to find a children's bedroom with books, lego and dressing up clothes; also, a back garden with swings and a slide in it. This in Craster, near the playground. An excellent choice for a young family.

A much enjoyed return to an area I love to visit.
Crabcake Cottage was an excellent find with very good facilities and a welcoming atmosphere. We were a party of just two but Crabcake would also be very suited to a much larger family.

Great walks straight from the property. Local pub very nice but very busy . Only criticism is there should be a paper copy of things to do locally and how to operate the devices in the property as only a downloadable version. We found this difficult to navigate.

Very nice cottage with sea views in Craster. This was our 3rd visit and we are booked to go again in August, that is the best recommendation I can give as we have never returned to the same cottage this many times. The cottage is warm, nicely decorated and comfortable. 3 generations of our family and our dogs had a lovely holiday here despite the Northumberland wind and rain. The cottage has lots of books, dvd’s and games to keep every one entertained. Danny the owner is very approachable and answers any queries almost immediately.

Crabcake cottage is cosy and warm, very clean, with everything you need and ideal for exploring Northumberland. Despite the weather we managed lots of beach walks.

Three generations loved spending time in Crabcake cottage. It is situated very close to the Northumberland costal path and there are beautiful walks in either direction.
The cottage itself has all you will need. There is even a beautifully decorated room for children with toys.

One of the best equipped & located cottages we have stayed in the UK. One or two minor inconveniences which did not detract from our holiday.

Has everything you could possibly need!

It isn't the very best of locations in that it is very overlooked, especially at the back, and in a few places the decor, carpets and furniture are a tad tired, but on the whole this is a great place to stay, with more many more plus points than minuses. We found it to be really comfortable, and exceptionally well-equipped. It would be a great (and safe) house for young children, as it has play equipment in the garden, children's books in the bedroom, and even a dressing up box, but note there isn't much of a beach here, and it disappears completley when the tide is in although the rocks are still great fun to scramble over. The kitchen and bathrooms are all modern and built to a high standard. It was very clean. The back garden is secure for dogs, although we would have liked gates at the front as well so that we could have sat in the front garden and enjoyed the view of the sea. We had an amazing welcome pack, plus Coquet Cottages are great communicators, providing a lot of information in a timely fashion, and we found the app especially useful.
