Driftwood is located on the Links in the thriving historic fishing port of Amble, with views of the sea and Coquet Island. Driftwood sleeps up to 8 guests in 4 bedrooms. There are two en-suites, one family bedroom, and an additional ground-floor WC. The enclosed garden to the rear of the house is very pretty with false grass and a patio area. The garden benefits from a luxury private hot tub, feature outdoor lighting and outdoor sofa seating. There is private, off-road parking for 2 cars on the driveway. Two dogs are very welcome and there is free Wi-Fi as standard. Free EV charging point too!

Booked as a family holiday for ourselves + children and grandchildren.
This was our sixth stay at driftwood, which I think says how much we enjoy the property and its location,(it is beginning to feel like our second home!)
There is plenty of room and the lounge located on the middle floor gives a lovely view across the links and towards Coquet island which is also a lovely area for dog walking, I always enjoy the early morning walk to watch the sunrise over the island.
The house is well equipped and having the EV charging facility really helped ensure we could be ready to set off on our adventures without the worry of having to locate EV charging en route.

This was our first visit to Driftwood and we were absolutely delighted with our choice. As soon as we walked through the front door we felt totally comfortable and relaxed. The house was spotless from the front door to the top bedroom. Everything was beautifully cared for and comfortable. The 4 children were really happy with the games room especially having PS4 and Disney channel! The kitchen was very well equipped with every need. Sufficient crockery cutlery, more than enough glassware and high quality kitchen equipment meant a stress free stay. Bedrooms were presented with very good taste and extremely comfortable. The 2 doubles had beautifully clean well equipped ensures the other two rooms were adjacent to the spacious main bathroom.
The garden area with its hot tub was out of this world with comfortable patio furniture and again spotless cushions. The children loved the hot tub and the adults all joined them on different nights. What a property!

Our second stay at Driftwood, and we've already booked again for next year. The location, high standard of the fixtures and fittings, and the cleanliness of the property really stand out. Both the owner, Liam, and Coquet Cottages are friendly and helpful.

Really enjoyed our stay at Driftwood. Two minutes walk to Amble Links and lovely walking path along the coast. The accommodation is very luxurious and well-equipped, with high-end kitchenware and toiletries, which add to the holiday feeling! Hot tub a real bonus and the sitting room with views to the sea a very relaxing spot.

A lovely, quality home with everything you need to make your stay comfortable. The furnishings are very attractive and the kitchen/ bathrooms are modern and well stocked with high quality appliances.
Location is perfect for us - 10 minute walk to the centre but more importantly across the road from a large field (perfect for early morning dog walks) and then the dunes and beaches beyond. Just perfect!!
The hot tub was a big hit with the grown up ‘kids’, but my favourite spot was the lounge on the first floor. It was so relaxing sitting in the sun with the bifold doors open, watching the world go by.
Also thank you for the lovely welcome pack - wonderful!

We visited with our children, grandchildren & 2 dogs. The property was ideal for us, in a great location, tastefully decorated, and very comfortable. The extra baby things requested were all provided for us. Making it a very cosy place to retreat to as the weather was not kind to us.

We stayed at Driftwood at the end of Ocotober and had an amazing stay. The cottage is beautiful, the view from the living room window was amazing. We had a lovely welcome hamper, lemon cake and flowers on our arrival. The cottage is very well equipped with everything we needed, the beds were very comfortable and the rooms very well designed with a modern fresh feel. There were chistmas decorations up too which made us feel in the christmas spirit. The hot tub was the icing on the cake, even though it was sleating while we were in the hot tub.
The cottage is in a great location, with a nice 10 minute walk into the main town, with a good selection of places to eat and drink.
I would love to go back sometime and it was just perfect. We would reccommmend Jaspers Bistro for amaing eveing meal and Lily landing for the best bacon sandwich and coffee.

We have stayed in Driftwood before and had a great stay first time and once again Driftwood didn’t disappoint. It’s a well maintained and comfortable house in a lovely spot. Easy access to the beaches and Amble pier and shops. A great welcome pack awaits your arrival and the dogs are even included, with dog treats and poo bags being left for them. A lovely house in a lovely spot.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Driftwood, which was located in the perfect spot for us not only to enjoy exploring Amble but also the wider Northumberland area. The property was clean and equipped with everything we needed. The kitchen particularly is well-stocked. Plenty of nice dishes, trays, sharp knives (hurray!), glassware and storage. The views from the upstairs sitting room were lovely. We felt that room needed a couple of additional seats (we just moved the ones from the bedrooms) and perhaps a coffee table but otherwise had no other criticism and we would definitely return. Hot tub was super!

Have stayed at Driftwood previously, excellent location & feels like home from home on arrival.
We have always enjoyed staying here with extended family, accommodation is ideal, great spaces for dog walking, great views from the mid level lounge whatever the weather.
Great range of local eateries within a short distance to cater for all needs.

Driftwood is a beautiful home which was ideally situated for our short break with family and two dogs. The view from the 1st floor sitting room was gorgeous and the bifold doors and balcony made it so inviting.
The house is set over 3 floors which worked well and the bedrooms were very quiet and are a good size with comfy beds.
The kitchen was well equipped however the grill pan and oven were not as clean as we would have liked luckily we did not do much cooking during our stay. The welcome hamper was lovely and thoughtful.
Whilst we did not use the hot tub we appreciated that it would be a welcome addition for many and we did appreciate and enjoy the garden in the lovely weather.

Cosy, warm, comfortable modern house with all amenities necessary for a great weekend. Kitchen, bedrooms & bathrooms well equipped. EV charging point a bonus and worked with no issues (bring your own cable). Plenty of space for 2 adults & 3 teens. Downstairs lounge with TV & games console useful for teens to have some family down time! Small but highly usable back garden with furniture and lovely to sit in the upstairs lounge with sea views. Great communication from house owners - professional, helpful but not at all intrusive. Walking distance into town for amenities and restaurants.
