With stunning views of the Farne Islands, Bamburgh Castle, and the magnificent Heritage coastline, as well as the Cheviot Hills, this is an ideal holiday retreat for couples and families alike. Enjoyed a few days in Farne View. Beautiful house. Bedrooms ground floor and lounge dining and kitchen upstairs.
Very generous welcome hamper. House was very comfortable and warm. Daughters dog was there and loved the holiday also.

What a wonderful cottage, I mentioned we were vegan as didn't want milk etc wasted . I didn't expect such a fantastic vegan welcome hamper full of goodies they really went the extra mile to make our holiday perfect .
Bed and lin clean ,luxurious and comfortable. Toiletries amazing will be buying some they were so good.
I cannot fault this cottage. Ideal for our dog too as completely enclosed and so peaceful. I wish I could have taken the view home .Bamburgh castle and sea, visible from all upstairs windows.
Perfect location for exploring.
Thank you so much we will definitely use your services and cottages again so much to explore of Northumberland.

Great location , easy walk into Bamburgh. Dog friendly, secure large garden. Balcony view of the castle was fab.
All amenities u could ever need at farne view.

This is our second stay at Farne View after many years of visiting Bamburgh and the area.
The house is exceedingly well maintained and appointed.
The weather was great on this occasion and the use of the balcony was mint.
The huge garden is lovely for our boys to play in and for the dog. The garden is dog proof!
I recommend this cottage but please don't steal my week in 2025!

Farne View had everything we needed for a really enjoyable stay. The property is extremely well equipped and very comfortable. It is a short (less than 5 mins) drive to the beach at Bamburgh and so was ideal for taking our 2 dogs for a walk. The setting for the property is very rural and quiet, with a large and secure garden mostly laid to lawn. Again, ideal for our dogs. The main living room/kitchen/dining space is on the first floor and is spacious and well thought out. Having the living room upstairs meant that we could enjoy views of Bamburgh Castle and the Farne Islands whilst having our meals, which was really lovely. We would happily stay here again and would recommend Farne View unreservedly.

Farne View was as welcoming as ever -a wonderful place to stay - comfortable is an understatement and so peaceful. We enjoyed the location the facilities and the welcome. It won’t be long before we return! Thank you to Coquet Cottages and to Nigel for making this such a special place to stay.

Beautiful cottage which was very comfortable. Lovely and cozy with the fire going and all the equipment that you could possibly want. Our only issue was when our friends came to stay with us for two nights and it was ackward sharing just one bathroom.

We loved Bamburgh with the magnificent castle which you could see from the cottage. Particularly enjoyed a meal at the Ptted Lobster followed by dog walking on the beautiful beach.

This was our second visit too Farne View with a gap of 7 years….we took our 2 year old Viszla Bella who absolutely loved the big garden and looking at the birds….weather was kind too us for our 3 night stay so we walked everywhere….discovered places we didn’t notice last time we were there. The house was very well equipped and very comfortable…thought of everything. All perfect. Bundle Bay is massive and you can walk for miles on it…hope too be back one day….big Thankyou too the owners and housekeeper .

A lovely cottage, very clean and well equipped. The location is ideal.
Our dog loved the enclosed garden, which was very well looked after.
The service from Coquet Cottages and the host was excellent.
We received a call to ensure everything was ok and a much appreciated welcome pack.
We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and would like to do so in the warmer weather to benefit from the balcony.
I would highly recommend this cottage.

What a beautiful property Farne View is and in an excellent location with it being a short walk away from Bamburgh. We spent 5 nights (middle aged couple with a dog) in Farne View and had a lovely time walking 35 miles in total enjoying the beaches of Northumberland and frequenting a few of the local pubs. Highly recommend The Victoria Hotel in Bamburgh and The Apple Inn in Lucker for food. We will probably stay here again and I bet in summer it would be gorgeous to sitting on the decking enjoy the views of Bamburgh Castle.

Farne view is a gorgeous property in a lovely location. It literally has a view from every window. Spending New Year in Bamburgh is a family tradition, and this year we had a lovely time as always. Farne View was comfortable, warm, well equipped and so peaceful, you could literally hear a pin drop. Although a little way out of the centre of Bamburgh this was not an issue for us. We really enjoyed our stay.

Farne View is an unusual and amazing “cottage’. It’s one of four units in a granary conversion about a mile inland from Bamburgh. It’s upside down - bedrooms on the ground floor living space (with balcony) on the upper floor. Farne View is situated on the Bamburgh end of the building with spectacular views on the upper floor to the castle and the Farne Islands. The conversion and the fitting out have been done to a very high standard - everything we needed was there. The cottage is very comfortable and peaceful. We were there during Storm Babet and felt very secure.

We recommend it without reservation and would stay there again without hesitation.

Fantastic dog friendly accommodation, everything thought of. Great views of Bamburgh, the Farnes and beyond. This is our 4th cottage in this enclave an ideal place to enjoy the delights of Northumberland. Farne view is perfect for a couple, small family etc. the garden space was excellent for the dogs. Nigel the owner was excellent even contacting us on our drive up to say the cottage was ready and we could access early, most welcome.If you love endless beaches and far horizons with history on your doorstep this is definitely the place to stay.

The cottage exceeded our expectations in terms of style and comfort. The welcome baskets for both us and our dog were lovely touches. The owner had provided every bit of equipment and information you needed. Being on the end also gave us a lovely large garden for the dog. The only downside was that you couldn’t safely walk into Bamburgh (without a lengthy detour) as the road was quite busy with no pavement. It would also have been useful to have an outside tap to wash off sandy/muddy dogs and boots. Overall though a fantastic holiday and we were even lucky with the weather.

Immaculate property on the outskirts of Bamburgh with views of castle. Generous welcome hampers for humans and dogs and every event catered for with plentiful supply of indoor and outdoor equipment for house and garden. Comfortable beds and bath robes, well equipped kitchen and perfect location. Adjacent caravan site was not an issue.

We really enjoyed our stay at Farne View. We have two children, and the garden was lovely to play in, and there were wet weather activities provided too for the whole family. The location and views were lovely and we easily filled our time with great day trips. The cottage was very clean and well set out with great facilities, and the welcome basket was very welcoming. It was also lovely to hear personally from the host to check we had arrived and settled in ok.

Lovely location, big garden for our 17 month old to run around in and stair gates meant he was safe.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Farne View. It’s a superb property in a great location for exploring the Northumberland coast. We had everything we needed and appreciated the generous welcome basket. There was a large enclosed garden for our dog to wander around, while it was nice spending time on the balcony during sunny mornings and evenings. We would definitely return.

Nothing at all to complain about. The location, whilst fairly remote, was perfect for us. An ideal opportunity to recharge the batteries. The owner was most attentive insofar as he contacted us to ensure we'd arrived safely and to assure us that any problems would be dealt with immediately.

The cottage and gardens are lovely, the welcome pack very good indeed. Furnishings, bedding etc high quality.
