Fieldside House is a beautiful, stone-built home in the pretty village of Chatton, nestled before the Cheviot Hills. Sleeping 8 guests in 4 spacious bedrooms, Fieldside House has 2 bathrooms, a large lawned garden, private parking and is very peaceful. 1 well-behaved dog (over 1 yr old) is very welcome and this house is ideal for a family or extended family. Free WiFi.

We booked Fieldside House as we wanted space to have a break in Northumberland with our grandchildren and it was perfect. The kitchen was ideal allowing us all to be together while the adults prepared the meals. Having the park so close by was the children's favourite thing. It was excellent for their ages 2, 4, and 9 and it goalposts for a football crazy 9 year which he loved. Comfortable beds, lovely bathrooms and well equipped. We would recommend Fieldside House without hesitation. The team managing the place we're so helpful responding quickly to questions. All in all it could not have been better.

We booked Fieldside House as our base accommodation for my wedding taking place at Bamburgh. The house was clean, warm, welcoming and spacious and accommodated our family of 6 adults, 1 toddler and a dog beautifully. The facilities were exactly was what needed. The welcome hamper on arrival was much appreciated and the chest of games and toys for my little boy was very much appreciated. Having access to netflix as standard was a great distraction for the little one especially when trying to get ready for the day ahead! There was plenty to seating and the kitchen made family dining a pleasure. The house it's self is based in the rural village of Chatton where we took late night walks and were treated to a beautiful display of the northern lights thanks to little light pollution within the village. The house is about a 2 minute walk to the local pub (Percy Arms) and we spent a few pre wedding evenings in there eating and dining. Kids and dogs are welcome and the food was really good! We visited the property for a 2 week stay and was really impressed with the housekeeping who came in part way through our visit and changed the bed linen, towels and gave the cottage a quick clean so we could enjoy it for the second week of our stay. The owner was also very approachable and welcoming and helpful when asking for tips on local taxi services. I would highly recommend a this cottage and it's close proximity to local attractions such as seahouses, Bamburgh etc. We look forward to visiting again!

A lovely house with everything you could need in a very quiet setting. It was very clean and perfect for our two families. Brilliant welcome hamper and had everything you would need to start your holiday. Our grandson also loved watching the horse and sheep in the field nearby and the new play park in the village. Also lots of games to keep him occupied. Highly recommend.

Beautiful house, great location, literally home from home with every amenity you could need. Jasper our cockapoo loved all the space and walks around the village.
Welcome hamper was really appreciated, no need to rush for milk for the cuppa you need after travelling. Would highly recommend, great value for money.

We had a lovely week at Fieldside house, perfect for our family of 3 generations to spend time together. The house had everything we needed, exceptionally clean, spacious comfy bedrooms and lots of space in the lounge and kitchen. The view of the horse and sheep in the field is just perfect. Great location, close to Bamburgh, Seahouses and Alnwick.

Booked a long weekend for a family birthday celebration.
The house provided a great home from home . Comfortable well equipped and in a great location with an excellent pub on the doors.
We were never far from all our usual haunts that we like to visit when in Northumberland.

What a lovely house, very spacious and in a very quiet area. It is located in a fairly small village which has a nice store and a wonderful village pub, both of which are in easy walking distance. The gardens are fully enclosed and quite large and great for our little dachshund to run around and explore. All four bedrooms are proper sized double rooms. Enjoyed our break and would certainly recommend it to anyone. The owner, Anna, texted us to make sure everything was OK when we arrived and said if we needed anything just to let her know, very helpful. Greeted with a nice hamper and found it hard to fault anything.

Fieldside House was just right for our family of grandparents, parents and children aged 3 and 5. Lovely big kitchen/dining area with outlook onto field with sheep, geese and pony. The kids loved it although the geese were early risers (as were the kids). House very well equipped including a popular box of children’s toys/books. We enjoyed the garden, it was big enough to kick a small ball and eat outside. Needed to drive short distance to Bamburgh for play park but apparently Chatton village is expecting its own spanking new playpark next year! Lovely welcome pack of goodies too. We would definitely return.

We had a lovely family stay and everything was generally perfect… beautiful spacious and very comfortable bedrooms and lounge area. Kitchen was fully equipped and nice welcome hamper when we arrived.
We had lovely weather so was able to sit out in the nice garden area.
However house keeping was a little a miss.
Visually all looked great but the skirting boards, window sills and corners where floor lamps and storage furniture stood downstairs were extremely dusty. Also there was an issue with the bathroom locks. My 83 year old mother in law got locked in the main bathroom. We was able to get her out as we could turn the lock from the external side but this needs to be addressed for future guests as does the downstairs cloakroom door.
