Koru is located close to the historic village of Bamburgh, where you will find a lovely sandy beach and magnificent castle. The property sleeps 4. The open plan living, dining and kitchen area is elevated so you can enjoy breathtaking views of the coast and countryside.

Very bright and spacious property. Situated in a quiet hamlet on the edge of Bamburgh which has several eateries and access to a beautiful beach with miles of lovely sands. Would definitely stay again.

We stayed for a week for half term and found the place very clean, everything we needed and in a great location with wonderful views. The decor was gorgeous and we were really impressed.

The beds and pillows were super comfortable, and everything well thought out.

A couple of improvements could be made only minor - a few more cupboards in the kitchen perhaps under the breakfast bar as nowhere to store food except the worktops.
The TVs could do with an upgrade as no catch up tv or Netflix - annoying for little ones but the dvd selection was great.

We had never been to Northumberland before and so picked Koru based on its location and this couldn't have been better. Alnwick and Lindisfarne were less than 30 minutes in the car, Seahouses 10 minutes and Bamburgh about 2 minutes! Koru itself exceeded expectations, you felt welcomed and comfortable as soon as you stepped through the door. Beds were comfy, living space was great and the balcony was especially nice for getting the late afternoon sun.

Great location, homely but modern, very comfortable beds and a balcony to sit and watch/listen to the birds. There is a view of the castle and you can walk to the beach in around half an hour on quiet roads. The location itself is nice and peaceful and Bamburgh is five minutes by car. Plenty of parking at the cottage and ample toiletries provided. Nice fluffy towels and a handy utility room. A lovely home from home! We will return next year.
