Larch House is a beautiful, recently-built stone property in the peaceful and leafy village of Lesbury. Sleeping up to 8 guests in 4 bedrooms, Larch House is spacious, modern, and comfortable and features a wood-burning stove in the lounge and has a separate snug room with games and books. Walking distance to the beach at Alnmouth. Private gated parking for 2-3 cars, 1 medium size dog welcome, and free Wi-Fi. Free Digital Guidebook.

We have visited the Alnmouth area for a number of years. This is the first time we have stayed in Lesbury - just a few minutes away. Larch House is a stunning home and we felt at home from the moment we opened the front door. Everything was perfect with everything we could have wanted.

Lesbury is a quiet and restful village. The village shop has everything you would need and The Coach Inn is certainly well worth a visit or two.

A perfect week in a perfect home.

Larch House is a stunning property with everything you need for a self catering stay. The village is lovely, quiet and peaceful. Great base to explore the area with both Alnmouth and Alnwick close by.
The property has a lovely, fully enclosed garden, ideal if you are taking your pets.
This is our second visit and it’s fantastic to see both the village shop and pub open. This made a real difference.
The only downside for us was the noise level from the neighbour behind the property with loud music blaring until after 11pm both Friday and Saturday. A real shame as otherwise a really quaint and peaceful little

I understand your disappointment with the neighbour's music. Unfortunately, this is out of the owner's control. However, if we receive more reports about this issue, we will certainly ask the owner to liaise with their neighbours.

Larch House is a wonderful holiday house, luxury accommodation, fully equipped with a beautiful enclosed garden for children to play. The hamper provided was extremely generous, as were the tasty scones. We all enjoyed our stay…. The location is great being close to Alnwick and Alnmouth.

All of the properties we have booked through Coquet have been high standards but we love this one in a great location.
As soon as you arrive you feel at home and relaxed. It’s really spacious and equipped with everything you need to make your stay perfect.
Nice welcome hamper on arrival.

This was the second time we had stayed at Larch House and I am sure we will book again next year

We hired the house for a family Christmas and it was a pefect size and had everything you need to emtertain a large group of different aged people. The house was decorated for Christmas beautifully and the extra seasonal welcome pack items were delicious as well.

The house was immaculate, very comfortable, well furnished and the cooking facilities were great too.
It sits in a quiet part of Lesbury, which is a great location to reach all of Northumbrias best beaches.
Proximity to Alnwick also helps if you need extra supplies.

Finaly, the service of the team at Coquet Cottages was first rate, friendly and the App really helpful, with good advice and information on it.

The accommodation is truly excellent and, particularly for the Alnmouth area, benefits from ample on-premise parking and a large secure garden for dogs. The accommodation is extremely well equipped and to a very high standard. The complementary welcome pack was equally of a high standard, extensive and a 'nice touch'

Location-wise the house is in a really nice and convenient location; OK it is a little out of Alnmouth village and the beach, but the quality of the accommodation more than makes up for this and easier access to Alnwick for shopping and the coastal route for visits is much better. On balance, it was the perfect location for our trip, will certainly consider revisiting and recommend to anyone

4 generations stayed at Larch house and we all thoroughly enjoyed it, a beautiful and comfortable property.

The property was very modern, well furnished and highly suited to our party of 4 adults and 2 children. An excellent quiet location and well positioned for exploring the Northumberland coastline as well as being close to the town of Alnwick.

For our party it was ideal to have the flexibility of the beds with 4 bathrooms and a downstairs toilet. The kitchen was extremely well stocked and with a huge fridge/freezer. It is a very thoughtful and appreciated touch to have a lovely hamper to welcome you in.



Short break in Northumberlands Alnwick and surrounding coastal area.

Larch House is a beautiful, well equipped property in a quiet location. The village of Lesbury is very pretty and ideal if you want a peaceful holiday. Good base to explore the area but a car is essential. Unfortunately there are no amenities in the village, although Alnwick has an excellent choice for food shopping and just a short drive away. Point to note (and our only disappointment) the pub/restaurant has been closed for some time….. Note to Coquet please update your website to avoid guest disappointment.

We are delighted to inform you that the Lesbury Village Store has recently reopened after being closed for some time. It's a great addition to the village, and we're sure future guests will appreciate it as well. We apologise for any confusion regarding the pub being open. We have checked our literature and couldn't find any mention of it being open. We are hopeful that it will reopen soon to serve our guests and the local community. Regarding transportation, the local bus stop is just a few minutes away from the property and serves the whole of Northumberland. Larch House is also within easy walking distance of Alnmouth train station, where you can reach Edinburgh in less than an hour or Newcastle in under 30 minutes. This makes it convenient for guests to explore the area and beyond without necessarily needing a car. Once again, thank you for your feedback, and we hope to welcome you back to Northumberland in the future!
