Three generations enjoyed the holiday.
Spacious house and garden allowed us to have time together but also a quiet area could be found if desired.
Utility room great for coats, shoes and drying if rainy.
A good holiday home with well equipped kitchen.

Perfect garden for the family dogs. Perfect location for beach walking and golf( for the boys ) and most importantly a perfect place for the baby. Plenty of comfortable space for her playmat and very nice spacious bathrooms for baby bath time. Best bathroom view ever.
We had a very happy holiday and met up with lots of wider family members.

Staying in Lyndhurst with all the family was a fab way to celebrate my birthday! Great place to stay, Alnmouth and all it's attractions a short walk away, beautiful beaches and walks. Who could want for more!!

Lyndhurst is a special place, comfortable, welcoming and great outside spaces to enjoy the sunshine. Would definitely go back.

A fabulous, comfortable and really well equipped holiday property. Plenty of space in communal areas and bedrooms for a large group. Garden spacious and well groomed.
E-guidebook helpful and informative.
Really easy route down to the beach.
Top attractions easily accessible - Bamburgh, Dunstanburgh, Seahouses boat trips, Alnwick. Also wonderful coastal walks direct from the property.

We had an amazing stay at Lyndhurst to celebrate my husband’s 70th birthday with the family. The house provided everything we needed and even more. Very comfortable and our welcome pack was very tasty!! Great location for the beach, Alnwick, Amble and surrounding areas. Thank you - we will be back.

We needed at least 3 bedrooms with bathrooms and an enclosed garden… we got everything the house is lovely well positioned for our walks. Lots of hot water for soaking tied limbs. Always warm… the garden is excellent. We had a super time here. Very high standards.

Open plan downstairs is ideal with linked kitchen and lounge. Separate wing with a double and a twin is a good feature. Handy for the beach. Lots of loos and bathrooms. Brilliant master bedroom. Nice outlook front and back. Great area for a holiday. Perfect house for a large family get-together.

8 of us spent a week here at Easter and were delighted with everything from the time of booking right through to after we left the cottage.

The initial service provided from Coquet Cottages was helpful and informative and the online guide sent out was very well laid out and had enough information to enable us to plan the holiday (and get excited about it ).

From arrival we knew we had picked the perfect cottage for us, it was beautifully decorated and situated looking across the golf course, down to the sea. It was a short walk to the beach and a longer walk into Alnmouth for the deli and some lovely pubs.

The cottage is well equipped, with plenty of practical items (particularly kitchen equipment) for dealing with a large group, as well some nice surprises for us!

The owner was on hand if needed and incredibly helpful.

Thank you for providing the setting for a well earned and well appreciated holiday for us all!

Lyndhurst is a large house, we had 8 adults and an infant in our group and there was ample room
It is beautifully decorated; really clean there was everything we needed in the kitchen
Can not recommend highly enough

Excellent location for beach, walks, restaurants, touring Northumberland from. Lots and lots of space and great for the dogs. Lovely week away :-)

We stayed at Lyndhurst house for a week. The holiday home was a great size, with plenty of space for 3 generations. The house was very clean and really cozy. Everything was there that you would need for a week away and we received a lovely welcome pack on arrival which even included treats for the dogs! Great location with just a 5 minute walk down to a lovely beach and a short 10 min drive away from Alnwick. Great communication before we arrived with Coquet cottages and the owner Mike. Would definitely recommend staying here to friends and family.

What a lovely time we had at Lyndhurst we had such a comfortable stay .Thank you for the special touches and welcome pack which was outstanding.Five children enjoyed the garden and three pairs of adults each had plenty of space two even working from Lyndhurst for three days.How did you manage to convince two teens and two juniors that showering was the ultimate treat-the octopus shower has been a highlight and they eagerly awaited their turn-brilliant.For the littlest family member watching the bunny hop about the garden in the morning and watching the baby birds being fed by their parents topped only by waiting for the 'flappy' bat at bedtime,he actually asked to go bed.
Our experience could only be surpassed by making it two weeks instead of one.

A pleasant quiet location within walking distance to the beach. If tide was right a pleasant walk into Alnmouth via the beach. Also possible to walk via coastal path or road in approximately 35 minutes.
The well equipped kitchen and eating area ideal for a larger group.
Indeed the whole house suited our numbers with large lounge, comfortable bedrooms and shower/bathrooms.
The large garden nice to sit in and children and dogs playing.

I have now stayed there twice .Once with the whole family for Christmas , second time with a group of friends. On both occasions it was immaculate, well presented and a most generous and thoughtful welcome pack waiting for us .All the bedrooms are large , well decorated and cosy,(when required) with lovely bed linen…. One complaint from the couple in the master, which is beautiful, was that the duvet was too heavy ! The kitchen is amazingly equipped and perfect for entertaining , chatting and preparing meals, everything you could wish for has been thought of .
If I have any criticism, it would be arrangement and type of sofas in sitting room . I san see the problem as it is a long room but makes it difficult to talk or watch television together.
Garden could definitely do with a make over ! On both occasions grass was needing cut ..and as for those hedges!

This was our 2nd stay at Lyndhurst. It’s a lovely house in a great location. Equipped with everything you could need, the choice of bedrooms and bathrooms provides space for everyone and there is good off-road parking. The house is close to Alnmouth and ideally placed for heading north and south along the coast. A short walk down the lane takes you to the golf course and down to a beach.

A lovely house with great gardens, and accommodation to cover 3 generations with everyone having privacy.
Well equipped kitchen and we'll appointed rooms. If you like early morning dog walks , like me, then being able to walk the coast paths down the lane was great.
The location in that sense was good, but a walk into the village by road is a good 10 mins and unlit with no kerb.
Was looking at next year but price gone up considerably, and will look elsewhere or hang on for discount.
