On arrival in the cottage was a fabulous welcome pack the cottage was well equipped and very clean . The decor was up to date and a nice touch with the Christmas decorations. Was very warm once the heating got established

We had an excellent week at Nursery Cottage, it’s extremely well equipped, a home from home
The owners have obviously put a lot of thought and care into providing everything you would need,
and a very lovely welcome hamper and flowers were appreciated

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Nursery Cottage in Alnwick. The cottage is a hidden gem. It was so cosy, attractively decorated and well equipped. One could not ask for more and a lovely welcome hamper awaited us on arrival. The cottage is well located above the town with views from the upstairs windows across to the Castle. Alnwick itself is a beautiful historic town and there is much to explore there and in the surrounding area. The owners of the cottage have provided a delightful retreat for visitors and thank you to Coquet Cottages for all their help with the booking and arrangements. We would certainly recommend Nursery Cottage to others.

This property really has everything you could possibly need for a perfect break and more besides (it’s a long time since I saw a tea cosy). Very comfortable sitting room and bed, and having a parking space is a real bonus. A short walk into town, though quite a steep hill to tackle coming back from the pub! Very quiet at night so great for sleeping. A very generous welcome pack too. We had a great time.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this cosy cottage. It was scrupulously clean and very well equipped with everything needed. The whole place was tastefully decorated, a real homely feel. The location is perfect and very quiet with an easy stroll into Alnwick with all its many amenities and attractions. We have been to Alnwick on a number of occasions so this weekend was purely to relax and also to celebrate my husband's birthday. We couldn't have chosen a more perfect place to stay and will most definitely come back. Thank you so very much.

A comfortable cottage. Well equipped and with a lovely welcome selection of goodies.
Comfortable beds as well as lounge. A nice little garden - we ate outside when it was dry.

This Cottage screams quality from the moment you open the door. The lounge furniture was very comfortable …. The curtains in all of the rooms had been individually made to an exceedingly high standard …. The kitchen was expertly fitted with everything you could possibly need for a stay. The Welcome Pack …. most welcome. Beds comfortable each with a choice of feather pillows and duvet if required. The bathroom was well supplied with White Company products which were very much appreciated.
The presentation was a joy to behold …. Geographically suited us too. A short walk into town with all that it had to offer.

Can’t fault the accommodation or the service from Coquet Cottages. Cottage was in a super convenient location to Alnwick centre and all the Northumberland Coastal treasures. A warm and cozy cottage with many extra touches, excellent welcome hamper, everything in the cottage you would ever need and more. Much needed relaxing break in a beautiful home from home, sad to leave, could have stayed forever. Thank you.

Nursery cottage is a delightful cottage near the centre of Alnwick. It is well appointed and comfortable. There is a charming little garden in which to enjoy fresh air and refreshments on a nice day. The cottage offers views of Alnwick Castle from the upstairs windows. It is in a good location to explore the beautiful county of Northumberland. A generous welcome pack was left for us to enjoy and this was much appreciated.

This is our second visit to Nursery cottage in Alnwick. We choice it again because of its location and how private and quiet it is, even though its surrounded by houses.
The cottage was immaculate, well thought out treats for us and our 9 year old dog, Molly and very welcoming. Everything has been completed to a high standard.
We used the Doggy day care centre in Alnwick, for the first time as we wanted to go to the Gardens and the Castle and this too was recommended by Coquet cottages which took the worry and stress out of the planning of these days out.
We recommended Coquet cottages to some passers by when we visited Warkworth and walked past the office. We will definately return as soon as we can.

The cottage was extremely comfortable and clean and in a fantastic location.
The welcome food and drink was a great addition, just what you need after a long journey.
The books and leaflets on walks in the area were a useful addition.

Good location for walking locally and accessing great beaches and historic points of interest all within 30 minutes.
Cottage fully equipped, great kitchen, shower and views from bedroom.
Our only little complaint is that the sofa was extremely uncomfortable.

This cottage is quietly hidden away. There is no noise whatsoever and is very central to Alnwick town which was fantastic. You can hear the birds singing, you can sit in the lovely patio area and watch the clouds go by. The cottage is immaculate and has everything you need. The view from the top bedroom windows is a wow factor, overlooking Alnwick over to the castle. We would have liked two small chairs to sit and look out of the master bedroom at such a stunning view. We would definitely book this cottage again and thank the hosts very much for letting us book with our 3 dogs. Many thanks, we will stay again if you would have us.
