Owl Cottage is a gorgeous holiday home in Warkworth with beautiful views of the Coquet River. Close to all the attractions in Warkworth Village, including 4 pubs, 3 restaurants, 3 cafe's, a handful of shops, Warkworth Castle, a picturesque river, and a huge sandy beach. Very easy access to pubs, cafes in village, amazing beach and sand dunes. Area is very dog friendly, beach and san dunes good for off lead walks. Fish Shack in Amble definitely worth a visit, good food and stunning location…..we went at sunset.

This is a lovely house in an excellent location adjacent to the river so the view is gorgeous.
The house is well appointed and we spent most of our time in the large spacious kitchen which gives access to the garden and views to the river.

The only disappointment is the lack of wardrobe in the second bedroom - the hooks on the wall are insufficient in my view.

I stayed at Owl Cottage in August with my daughter, son in law and 2 granddaughters for a week in August and was very impressed by the cleanliness, decoration and accommodation. The beds were very comfortable and the configuration on 3 levels suited us as the family bathroom was on the first floor with the second bedroom and sitting room which gave a lovely view of the river. The main bedroom, with ensuite shower and the children's bedroom were located on the third floor.

The large kitchen on the ground floor opened onto a garden with a gate which gave access to the river. The kitchen was so well equipped with a large number of plates, glasses. cutlery. pots and pans, dishwasher and washing machine; everything was thought of. The children enjoyed the table football game in the garage at the end of the day.

Warkworth is very well placed with a glorious beach, caste and close to Alnmouth beach and Alnwick castle. We would go again.

Our second stay in owl cottage, lovely , welcoming, safe, clean accomodation in a beautiful setting. The welcome package is delightful. Well equipped & good quality beds.
Staff very helpful in organising dates as we were unable to book the specific dates online.
Expensive but everything is first class.

We love waking up to the very special views and Warkworth itself is just the most beautiful village.

Very clean comfortable accommodation providing everything we needed including a very nice welcome pack! The location was perfect by the riverside especially with a dog as we could walk her out of the back garden onto the riverside walk. Easy walking to pubs and restaurants in Warkworth.

The location beside the river Coquet is perfect. It was very quiet and peaceful with beautiful views right down the river to Amble.
The house was lovely and had absolutely everything we needed - and more. The garden was a bonus as the weather was warm enough for sitting out.
We enjoyed being back in Warkworth - interesting castle (well worth a visit) and great restaurants / pubs for eating out.
This is our 4th stay in a Coquet Cottage. All have been perfect.... and it is so nice to have a welcome hamper and flowers to greet you as you arrive.

My wife our daughter and her cockapoo buddy spent a wonderful week at the owl cottage in warkworth.The cottage was everything we could have asked for clean and comfortable, beautiful location. very easy to access local beaches. the welcome hamper was great.

Enjoyed our stay at Owl Cottage. Delightful roomy kitchen with views of the riverbank, well appointed. Comfortable lounge again with views of the river and as far as Amble. We were a couple so only needed one bedroom and chose the second floor. Same views as the lounge. Slept well but care needed as sloping ceiling can be a hazard getting in and out of bed.
Welcome basket good choices and quality.
We would be happy to stay here again and will recommend to friends etc.

The house is a home from home, very well equipped and even lovely paintings on the walls. The position is wonderful with the most amazing views. Enjoyed the wildlife spotting and the grandchildren found the 3 floors a novelty. Plenty of room for 4 of us. We have stayed at Owl Cottage twice and it would be our first choice of accommodation if we come to the area again

Fabulous cottage … spotlessly clean, great location, on the riverbank, close to Warkworth but very quiet. Great views over the river to the sea. Excellent service from Coquet Cottages, couldn’t have done more to make our stay perfect. Loved the welcome basket, perfect finishing touch. Lots to see in Northumberland, beaches, walks, castles, history, good food; well located for all these. Totally recommend.

We had a fabulous stay in this beautiful cottage.
The private driveway parking was such a bonus but the main feature was the location and fabulous views down the river towards Amble.
A short, pretty and pleasant walk into the beautiful village of Warkworth (easy, even with a wheelchair) was always lovely (of course, the glorious weather each day helped with this!)
The house itself had everything we needed and we didn’t want to leave at the end of our holiday . . . so we have already booked again for next year!
