What a wonderful week we had in this stunning home.
The house was absolutely beautiful with amazing views from the lounge. It was clean and had everything we could need for a home from home. This was a great location for Amble and for exploring the surrounding areas.
The little touches of the welcome hamper for ourselves and our dog were very welcome.
We would definitely recommend and will look forward to returning again in the future.

Roseate House is a great base to explore Northumberland.
It is a very spacious, comfortable, & very well equipped house, & there was everything that we needed to thoroughly enjoy our week's stay, including a much appreciated welcome basket of milk, butter, fresh bread, orange juice, biscuits for us & our dog, local tea & some coffee pods.

It had a beautiful kitchen with more than enough of all the necessary crockery, utensils & cooking pots & pans.
A new frying pan might be a good idea to replace the old one.

The two en-suite showers were wonderful , with some nice touches with the small jars of shampoo, conditioner & body creams.
There are lovely views from the comfortable lounge, & it was interesting to watch the people walking & playing with their dogs.

We were very lucky with the weather for the first 4 days, & we were able to sit outside in the garden, enjoying the sunshine.
Considering it was mid-September , we considered ourselves lucky to have good weather, with only one afternoon of drizzle.
The England Coastal path is virtually from the door step & takes you into Warkworth, via Amble & the river Coquet, with loads of interesting birdlife.
The other way is via footpaths among the dunes & via the beaches, for as long as you want to go.
Amble is good to explore, with the different independent shops, small pods in the harbour area.

Holy Island, Berwick & Bamburgh are worth visits, as is Warkworth beach with free carparking.

Food wise, the Fish Shack is wonderful, & breakfasts/brunch at the Hithe , & Ratcliffes were also very good.
There's no shortage of places to have a drink & try different beers from local breweries.

All in all, we enjoyed a wonderful week at Roseate House

Our group of six ladies had a fantastic stay and found the location of Roseate House was perfect for our friends 60th birthday celebration. The attention to detail for every room was amazing with everything you could need. The welcome hamper was such a treat and we found jars of the marmalade provided for sale in Amble and bought some to take home. Thank you for a wonderful weekend.

Roseate House was very welcoming, ideally situated with easy access to beaches, costal paths and local amenities. The harbour, with its range of restaurants and shopping pods only a short walk away, plenty of cafes an excellent ice cream and coffee shop and a variety of pubs most of which have dog friendly areas. Amble is ideally located for exploring the Northumberland coast, castles and villages.

We enjoyed our stay in Roseate house as there were 6 of us and the house suited our needs ie plenty of space and 3 bathrooms.
The house was very comfortable, clean and well equipped.
We enjoyed the outlook over the links and the close proximity of the house to the harbour.

This was our second stay at Rosette House and once again it didn’t disappoint. It’s such a beautiful house to stay in, so clean and has everything you need. The house is welcoming and a lovely welcome pack awaits. The location is just perfect, easy walks to the beech and into Amble. We loved it and so did our two dogs. We will be back.

The house was amazing, built to very high specification in a wonderful location. It was extremely comfortable and very clean. The sea views were lovely especially from the first floor lounge and balcony and the second floor bedroom. My family say it was the best property we had ever stayed in, not just because of the house, but because of the easy access to the play area, harbour and beach. The housekeeper and owner were extremely helpful. We would love to return.
