We are so pleased to hear that you had a lovely stay at Sea Breeze. Thank you for your feedback regarding the balcony. Our housekeeping team has confirmed they will continue to check and maintain the space during their cleanings. As the property is in a coastal area, nesting swifts, house martins, and swallows are common this time of year, and they can occasionally leave a mess in the gardens. Our housekeeping team works diligently to ensure everything is spotless on changeover day, but sometimes nature takes its course after they've finished. We hope to welcome you back to Northumberland in the future!

Quiet and peaceful area, easy to walk into Amble. Balconies were a great sun trap and a great place for morning coffee or evening glass of wine. Going through the bedroom, or the outdoor side gate, to access the garden is a little inconvenient, so we probably didn't use the patio / garden area as much as we may have done.

Sea Breeze is an excellent property. Very clean, spacious. Lots of essentials left for us, basic foodstuffs to tide us over, a fruit cake which my husband loved. Toiletries, spa shampoo's. Doggy treats, everything was thought of and perfect.

Lovely house to spend a chill out week in, great spaces and lots of homely touches. We received a call from the owner on our first evening which made us feel very welcome. Would not hesitate to recommend.

Fantastic property, photos don’t do it justice! Location is excellent. Short walk to bars, restaurants and marina. Would highly recommend, and will definitely stay again!

Weather was alittle unkind, so did not take advantage of the garden and balconies.
Enjoyed our stay, house was clean and comfortable, although confusing being upside down, with no view to show as a benefit. The house was well equipped, and had high quality fixtures and fittings, some colour in the garden would be more pleasing. We enjoyed exploring Northumberland and even venured across the boarder, we ate out most days and our favourite was the Sun Hotel in Warkworth, walking there and catching the bus back.

Beautiful house in a great place to explore Northumberland. A warm and comfortable house. Lovely bedding and towels with plenty of space for 4 adults 2 children and 1 miniature poodle. Would definitely recommend. Hope to return again.

We have stayed at Sea Breeze 3 times now. The first floor open plan design is so relaxing with a lovely balcony off the living area, to watch the sunrises and sunsets. The dining room also has a balcony which has been lovely to use on sunny days. The bedrooms/bathrooms are spacious, well equipped with towels and toiletries and the main bedroom has patio doors straight into the garden. Everywhere is so clean with a coastal theme throughout. We received a lovely welcoming hamper for us and our dog. Sea Breeze has a fantastic location close to Amble centre but also close to Alnmouth, Alnwick, Morpeth, Druridge Bay Country Park and Holy Island which is only 40 minutes away. Lots of nice places to eat in Amble but also a kitchen with everything you could possibly need!

Wonderful short-break in Amble. Sea Breeze is a wonderful appointed property, lovely throughout with everything you need. Even a lovely Xmas tree as the break was in the run up to Xmas. Property is close to pub and local shops, plenty of pubs and restaurants. Special mention for Brewis Beer, a lovely brewery tap room. The owner was most helpful with advice of where to go for food, drink and things to do.

Just returned from a fabulous stay at Sea Breeze in Amble. This was our first visit to Northumberland and will certainly not be the last, and will be sure to use Coquet Cottages for all future bookings. Right from selecting the property, we found the website informative with lots of detail to help select the right property and location for us. The digital guidebook we received prior to arrival exceeded anything I have ever experienced before, and thought it was a fantastic touch.
The property itself was beautiful, and really had the wow factor, even if it took a few days to get used to the upside down set up! It had everything we needed and more in terms of its facilities, making it a comfortable and relaxing stay. We loved the welcome pack with the homemade lemon cake, and the dog loved her welcome gifts too! The owner of the property was accessible, and we thought it was a lovely touch that she had made contact with us to wish us a good trip, and keep us up to date to let us know when the gardener was popping round.
The location of the property was ideal to explore Amble, and we were able to maximise our time by visiting other areas Northumberland from the information in the guidebook.
All in all, it was the perfect holiday.

A beautifully furnished and very well equipped house. We were a party of 6, plenty of space for us all. Enjoyed the location , close to the Marina and the lovely village of Amble.

A tumble dryer would have been the icing on the cake. But definitely not a deal breaker. Would certainly book again.

See Breeeze is a spacious and well equipped cottage. It is well situated with just a short walk to town center and harbour. All you need for a self catering accomodation is nearby, restaurants and shops. Amble is an excellent starting point for exploring the coast as well as the back country.

The cottage was comfy, clean and well equipped. The only issue was a strong smell of drains coming from the utility. I fed this back to Conquet Cottages wen they rang, and the knew about it, so it's obviously an on-going issue that needs sorting. Keeping the utility door shut and the window open was OK for a weekend, but would have been unsatisfactory if we'd been staying longer.
