Sea Gem is a beautiful coastal home, in a quiet area of the historic fishing port of Amble. Sea Gem sleeps 6 guests in 3 bedrooms with 3 bathrooms, and the living space is on the top floor. The coast can be reached in 10 minutes on foot and there is a great, varied selection of gorgeous restaurants to choose from in Amble, all within walking distance too. Sea Gem is pet-free, and has an enclosed garden and private parking.

Sea Gem is a fabulous house in a quiet location but only a short walk to the centre and harbour area. The house is furnished to a high standard and has 2 balconies to enjoy the morning/ evening sun. A welcome hamper containing local products is a lovely touch by the owner , which we really appreciated.

Sea Gem is a beautiful house, modern and comfortable, equipped with everything you need.
The welcome pack & fresh flowers on arrival was a lovely addition, full of goodies we enjoyed during our stay. The owner also supplied a cot, high chair, and age appropriate toys for our 1 year old which was a nice touch.
The property is within walking distance to the harbour and town centre, with plenty shops and restaurants to choose from.
We would definitely return and recommend the property to anyone looking for a break in Northumberland.

Stayed here for four days when working in the area.
House was spotlessly clean, and the three parking spaces were very much appreciated.
A quiet cul de sac location within easy reach of a number of places of interest
The power showers were super, with the open plan upstairs lounge / kitchen area being the real hub and having great space for relaxation, the oversized sofas being superb.
Generously proportioned, well kept garden.
Kitchen was well equipped and equipment easy to understand and operate
Wish we could have stayed longer
The globe on the stairs which went round with the sunlight had us entertained for hours!

This is our third stay at the Sea Gem and it was as lovely as always. What a fab welcome back from Sallyanne. There are so many thoughtful touches. The house is immaculate. I love the 2 balconies upstairs, even managed to get my brekkie sat out one morning, not bad for March! The garden is lovely and secure. I love that I can open the patio doors in the morning from the bedroom into the garden. Short walk into Amble where there are lots of places to eat, Spurellis ice cream parlour, a playground and shops. Only 20 minutes to Alnwick where there is lots going on at the castle and gardens. Already booked another return holiday here. It’s definitely our happy place away from home.

Sea Gem is a beautiful house, decorated to a high standard with everything you need for a comfortable stay.
We stayed for the weekend for early 50th celebrations, and it was pretty much perfect.
Both the owner and Coquet Cottages were brilliant with many text and calls checking everything was OK.
We cant wait to return.

Me & my family stayed here over New Year for 3 nights, it was very clean & everything was provided for your comfort. The welcome hamper was a real treat. The location was great, quiet but walking distance to pub & restaurants. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this holiday property. Its a real gem.

This was our second stay at the Seagem, we have rebooked for Easter and summer next year. There was a lovely welcome hamper. Lots of thoughtful touches, super clean, very well equipped and comfortable. It was my birthday and when we arrived there were happy birthday banners on the door and inside, lovely touch. The garden is lovely and the balconies good for watching sunrise and sunset. Lovley big walk in showers in both ensuites, beds comfy. Location is a great central point and lots of lovely restaurants in Amble, which is a short 5 minute walk.

We have booked with Coquet Cottages before.
So we new that the cottage would be extremely good. We certainly wasn't disappointed. The quality of the furnishings are second to none.Plenty of crockery cutlery cooking utensils ect. Complimentary toiletries and a lovely welcome basket with bread cake butter cheese biscuits even a bottle of wine. Flowers too in a vase on the table.The customer service is also very good.They contact you before your holiday and during your stay to make sure everything is ok. Why can't all holiday company's be like this. Well done Coquet Cottages can't thank you enough.

Sea Gem is a beautiful and stylish place to stay - so comfortable and warm, and with everything we needed for our stay. The centre of Amble is only a few minutes walk away, and the property is in a good position for visiting other towns and villages, on foot, by car or by bus.

Enjoyed our stay. Plenty to do and good choices of restaurants nearby, although some a bit of a walk away.
Only access to back garden is through a bedroom or outside through a gate.
All we needed was supplied, including a welcome hamper. Thanks!

We arrived to find flowers and a lovely welcome hamper. Sea gem is a modern , comfortable house in a very quiet location. Amble harbour and shops are 5 minutes walk away with great restaurants and cafes. We will definitely return next year

Lovely house, very modern with easy to use appliances and very well equipped. It’s in a very quiet setting,an easy stroll into Amble.
Loved Amble, great for crabbing and Bamburgh beach is beautiful and Seahouses great for an amble around and a great boat trip to the Farne islands, we saw seals and puffins. We even did a day trip on the bus to Newcastle!!
Loved the house, welcome hamper was fab - we now have shares in Trotters bakery, the car is full of cake for the way home!
We would all recommend the house.

This is the second time we've stayed at Seagem and we still get the Wow factor when we walk through the door.
Seagem is immaculately clean, spacious, modern, stylish and with top class facilities.
Communication with the owner was excellent. She replied almost instantly to our queries.
Seagem is an exceptional place to stay.

Sea Gem is a modern new build property on a housing estate. It was spotlessly clean and welcoming on arrival. Very modern electrical appliances. All in excellent working order. A very well equipped kitchen.
The bedrooms are downstairs and the living accommodation is upstairs. Being a retired couple we found this quite difficult in a lot of ways. For example the back garden could only be accessed through one of the downstairs bedrooms. We always seemed to be climbing the stairs when in the property.
The main plus of the property is its location. Easy walking into Amble marina. Plenty of attractions easily reached by short car journeys.
