Sea View is a gorgeous, converted old cottage in the pretty little village of Dunstan. Just around the corner from an olde-worlde pub, The Cottage Inn. Sea View has distant views to Dunstanburgh Castle and the coast. The quaint fishing village of Craster is less than 10 minutes away in the car and you can walk to this lovely village on foot. There's a wood-burning stove, a lawned garden, and 1 private parking space. 2 dogs are welcome. Free Wi-Fi. Free Digital Guidebook.

Travelled here as a group of two couples, and had a fantastic stay! Downstairs is bigger than it looked in the photos -- great space for socialising. Great location for exploring the coast -- the walk into Craster/to Dunstanburgh castle is very easy, and you're also a short drive from Alnwick, close enough to do a daytrip to Lindisfarne, etc.

We loved our stay at Sea View , and were particularly lucky to be blessed with super sunny weather for our coastal walks .
The Jolly Fisherman pub in Craster was our favourite place for a meal .
The house was very comfortable in a quiet location .
We really appreciated the welcome hamper provided on our arrival.
Plenty to do in the surrounding area .

We enjoyed our stay at Seaview - lovely location near Craster, a bright conservatory, cosy lounge and everything you could need in kitchen. All very comfortable and we particularly used the bath after long coastal walks. Welcome pack was wonderful and very generous.
Only slight negative was very narrow access to long shared drive which either had to be reversed in or out of onto road, wouldn’t recommend for nervous drivers!

Seaview is in a super, quiet, position with easy access to Northumbria's glorious coast and wonderful castles, and just a short ride away from Alnwick's shops. With garden to 3 sides that can be closed off for dog or children, and a choice of sitting areas within the cottage it's ideal for our family holidays. The kitchen is extremely well equipped, and cosy, with all you need for home catering, plus there are eateries within close reach - even next door! Beds are superbly comfortable and bed linen and towels top quality as well as beautiful. We've enjoyed our 4th summer break there.

The accommodation was very good, clean and tidy. The conservatory was a great asset and we spent a lot of time in there. There was plenty of space for us, our two daughters and our small dog. The location was excellent and we had many walks to Craster and along the coast.
Would highly recommend the house as a base for exploring the Northumberland coast. Will hopefully return to explore further.

Seaview is a lovely property with a home from home feel. Furniture, decor and kitchen equipment were of good quality, and the beds were comfortable. The hampers (both human and pet) were great, thanks for including a treat for our cat. The garden could manage a little attention to take advantage of the views to the sea and the seating area catches the morning sun.

It's an easy stroll down to Craster village where the Jolly Fisherman is welcoming for just drinks and also does excellent food.

A delightful, well-appointed cottage with everything needed for a comfortable and pleasant few days. Very welcoming with the hamper of goodies and lots of information supplied. In walking distance of Craster and good jumping off point for driving to places of interest.

We had a fabulous stay at Seaview. Customer service was second to none and the welcome pack was brill. Close to Craster and some great pubs for lunch and of course the Piper’s Pitch! Our dog loved it and is walked out on return.

Elderly mum, 1 year old 2 dogs and 3 adults- the cottage/ location and every need met is surely impossible.
Not at sea view.

This is really the most delightful cottage for a relaxing stay in Northumberland. Beautifully and stylishly appointed with a great outdoor area and a snug interior. Situated in a private location but close to the village pub and a 15 minute walk on footpath to Craster and the coastal path. Venture further afield with a bus stop 50m away for the excellent coastal route bus. Owners left a luxurious welcome pack with many treats for both human and doggie guests. All communication was excellent from booking to departure. We will certainly be booking again.

The house certainly suited our needs . Loved the additional space the conservatory gave.
Very well equipped with ample bedding, towels, toiletries, cleaning products etc and a great welcome hamper for us and the dog!
It is in an excellent location for visiting the area and easy to walk into Craster for a drink or walk to Dunstanburgh castle.
Lots of outdoor space for sitting ( if the weather allows)
We loved the style and layout of the house but it isn’t an easy house to keep spotless.
A great stay-thank you

This was a gathering of our small family for 2 weeks and Sea View could not have been more perfect. The location is superb, especially if you enjoy walking, the cottage is a dream, very tastefully furnished, beds extremely comfortable. We loved in particular the Conservatory, where we spent all our time, when not outdoors. The Cottage Inn pub around the corner made for a perfect setting to meet up with the rest of our Northumbrian family.

The location of Sea View is 5* as we love the area, however the house itself is in need of some maintenance. The house is quirky & the beds are comfortable. The parking is good & once the gates are shut is private, but when we arrived the netting to stop small dogs getting out was broken & the rear gate would not fasten so was not secure for our two dogs. The dustbins were full, the outdoor furniture was covered & full of dirty rainwater & there was debris outside the property. The log burner door was black & had not been cleaned & the toilet cistern was running. The back porch is also in need of maintenance to the window sills. After reporting the issues & sending photos to Coquet Cottages the owners were informed & duly arrived on the Sunday. They apologised profusely & cleaned up the log burner door, the outside furniture & emptied the dustbins. After speaking to Coquet Cottages again they arranged for a workman to secure the large gates with chicken wire & repair the back gate so that we could let our dogs out in the garden safely. This was completed on the Monday afternoon. The toilet cistern was still running when we departed on the following Friday. We have stayed in various cottages booked through Coquet Cottages & everything has been immaculate with no issues & all given 5*reviews & we will certainly book with them again. They were extremely helpful & did all they could to get the issues resolved. I understand that Sea View is not managed by them.
