Seascape is in perfect position overlooking sea and very comfortable. Some of the cooking trays were in an unusable condition and plates chipped. But everything else was good, making a very relaxing experience.

The only problem we had was the condition of the sofa which were worn and grubby. Everything else was excellent and we would return

The cottage was perfect it had everything we needed. It was spotless. Welcome pack with bread and scones and jam bottle of wine etc was very welcome. We wanted a holiday with our young cocker spaniel .We took his cage with us and there was plenty of room for it. Loads of cupboard storage space .good size fridge freezer washer dishwasher and cooker. There were beautiful views over the pier and the sea from the French windows in the living room and the same from the master bedroom. Binoculars provided to look out to sea as there are sometimes dolphins in the bay too. Large separate bathroom was handy too as was the downstairs toilet.
Fabric stair gate was useful to keep the dog from getting upstairs. Lots of people walking with dogs as the pier was a large L shape followed by a walk on grassland. It was an ideal base to investigate the many beautiful beaches nearby. Many people stopped to admire the cottages as they walked by. Parking for two cars outside your cottage so you weren't fighting for car space. Would definitely recommend this cottage.

Seascape is one of the best locations for a holiday let, with super harbour and sea views. It is very well resourced and we had a lovely holiday.

We have been holidaying in Amble for ten years and Seascape is our favourite property . Outside needs a little tidying but , otherwise , it is perfect for us .

Seascape sits on the end of a road looking out over the South Pier in Amble - the view is amazing, as lovely in the sunshine as it is in high seas and winds! The cottage is warm and comfortable, beautifully clean and with everything you could wish for in terms of equipment. The shower is great, and there were lots of big fluffy towels. There is dedicated parking and the cottage is situated a walk from shops and restaurants, and is opposite a park with walks that take you out to the dunes.

Amble has ample lovely shops, a butchers, cafes, takeways, and a co-op with a huge Morrisons out of town if you need something else. I am trying to think about what to say about our stay - we had the loveliest most relaxing time - but my mind keeps coming back to the view! It was so nice after a day out exploring the local area to come back and sit watching the sea and the sky - hard to take your eyes of the changing seascape. I'd highly recommend Seascape for a couple looking for a relaxing, stress free break.


Cocquet cottages were really helpful ringing to make sure we had everything we wanted and making it clear they were just a phone call away which is great customer service. Thank you xx We will be booking with you and again and have already recommended you to people chatting to us outside on the terrace!

Perfect location to relax and with beautiful views .
Nice bottle of Prosecco waiting for us on arrival, Thank you . House is comfy and bright and is well equiped with everything you'd need .
Great location to explore Amble and beyond but also quiet if you want some solitude and to watch the world go by .
Cant beat the stunning views !!

We stayed here in January 2024 and had a very enjoyable week despite the time of year and cooler temperatures. There's a lovely view of the harbour and coastline from the property and watching the waves break over the harbour wall at high tide can be mesmerizing. There are good walks along the coast in either direction straight from the property. Alnwick is definitely worth a visit even though many of the tourist attractions are closed at this time of year.

The property was warm and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and there's a Morrisons supermarket nearby (5 minute drive) so you don't have to travel far for provisions.

Seascape is in a stunning location, when you walk in and see the view out to the North Sea, up to Warkworth and down to Coquet Island, you can't help but be blown away.
The cottage is light and airy with lovely decor.
A well equipped kitchen with everything you could need.
The welcome basket and luxury toiletries supplies were a great bonus.
Comfortable beds.
While there is sofa space for 4 people, rarely do 3 adults sit on a 3 seater sofa so if an extra comfortable chair was added then it would be a perfect score from me.

A couple of little things needing attention:-
The ensuite shower was not draining properly, outlet pipe needs unblocking.
The front door key was often found to be stiff, may be slightly bent.

QR code for info was difficult to download and we missed the heating information. Accommodation is not cheap these days but to set heating at what the owner thinks is an acceptable level and asking you to get in touch if you need it changing is frankly ridiculous. It was set at 19 to come on and the place was cold. By the time we found the information we had been there 24 hours and had already adjusted ourselves !!!

Seascape exceeded our expectations even after absorbing countless reviews ! From the thoughtful welcome hamper, faultless cleanliness, more than adequate facilities and comfort to the mesmerising harbour views, this was the perfect getaway for us. The apartment was tastefully decorated and a very comfortable place to be and its location is ideal for access to Amble’s shops and restaurants as well as local walks. It is so unusual to have plenty of car parking space too.

I’m struggling to offset this glowing review with suggestions for any improvements; the guest book demonstrated that most guests appear to have been dog owners (which we are not) but there was no evidence of this anywhere in the apartment ! I suppose one observation might be that the picnic table and bench on the balcony is not very conducive for lounging for any period of time and we were thankful for our own camping chairs and this might be something to address in the future. The communication from Coquet Cottages throughout was also outstanding and the app so useful.

In summary, both Coquet Cottages and Seascape’s owners have got it wonderfully right and we are already planning our return.
