The New Dairy is a stunning property in a prestigious farm conversion development at Glororum, just over 1 mile from historic Bamburgh. Sleeping 3 guests in 2 bedrooms with 1 bathroom, this superbly-equipped cottage is decorated to the highest standard and is very popular with honeymooners. The New Dairy is pet-free, all ground level, and has gorgeous views of Bamburgh Castle from the lounge. There is private parking, an enclosed patio area to the front, and a gas fire. This property is very special and is a true indulgence for an escape to the coast. Free Wi-fi and digital guidebook.

The settees and bed weren’t the most comfortable. The large dining table is too big for a property sleeping 2-3 people and is a little restrictive to get around. On the plus side the cottage was always warm and in a nice quiet location with a lovely view of the castle, the welcoming hamper was A1.

A wonderful cottage with amazing views of Bamburgh castle. It was the perfect location for our holiday and we can't wait to return.

The New Dairy was a thoroughly pleasant cottage to be based for our investigation of the Northumberland Coast. It was exceptionally clean and very comfortable, a little warm at first until we realised and turned the heating off in all the rooms! It still really retains its warmth though. Most modern conveniences are provided with a fabulous welcome hamper too. Some of the fittings are maybe getting a little tired now, and the wooden kitchen work surface maybe wasn't the best choice... The other criticism we would level would be that it has possibly the worst TV in the lounge that we've experienced in a holiday cottage... it had no Freeview channels for some reason and the app and sound experience left much to be desired. However, we had a lovely week overall, the cottage is comfortable and wouldn't hesitate to return!

As our first short break in Northumberland, The New Dairy provided a high quality, clean, and comfortable holiday home, between Alnwick and Berwick, which meant we could travel out in all directions to see what the area had to offer. It also provided a cosy and inviting base very close to Bamburgh village, the castle, fabulous coastal walks, and local amenities such as the Potted Lobster.

Now we have a better feel for the area and the quality of holiday homes available, we will certainly be coming back again, either as a couple or with our family/friends.

The cold, wet and windy weather could not be helped but it has not put us off returning!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the New Dairy. The welcome hamper was excellent and very much appreciated. Pretty much everything we needed was provided. The peace and quiet of the area was a delight.

It's one of the nicest cottages we've stayed in.

The New Dairy is a warm, comfortable cottage in an ideal setting, close to Bamburgh and the great beaches of Northumberland. The welcome hamper is especially appreciated and, as ever, customer service by the team at Coquet Cottages is excellent. We always use Coquet Cottages for our Northumberland visits.

Coquet Cottages portfolio continue to be excellent have been using them for years and will probably be back. Maybe not to Bamburgh though.

My wife and I have stayed in many holiday cottages over the years and this is perhaps the best we have ever stayed in. It is luxuriously appointed with very tasteful furnishings and decor without detracting from the original character of the cottage. Factor in the superb location, just a mile or so from Bamburgh and boasting of a stupendous view across the fields to the castle and the sea beyond and I'd have to say: what more could anyone want?

Similarly, the service provided was excellent. Booking with Coquet was very easy online, confirmations and full instructions were prompt and accurate, and I received a courtesy call from the company after arrival. The online website guide was the best and most detailed I have seen - hats off to Coquet for that. A real highlight as most other guests noted was the fantastic welcome hamper in the property including necessities like bread and milk as well as an indulgent array of goodies. Needless to say, the property was spotlessly clean and comfortable.

The walk to Bamburgh is easy but I would recommend that Coquet make it clear note somewhere on the information/webpage that there is no footpath, so extra care is needed, especially as the road was surprisingly busy. It should also be stressed that it is very dark after sundown on this route.

Altogether a very enjoyable stay and great value for money as you really do get what you pay for.

Our fifth visit to Northumberland but first time with coquet cottages .really impressed with the comfort and cleanliness,very well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and a welcoming pack, that totally surprised us and flowers. Very welcoming and appreciative. Views over to Bamburgh castle,can walk to the castle via the road but no footpath..A very relaxing place to stay.

We liked this property and its location so much that we booked to stay again this year. Everything was very comfortable and clean, and we had a very enjoyable stay.

The only downside was that the curtain in the main bedroom was broken, and we couldn't get it to drop down at night.

We also couldn't work out how to operate the oven, but this was a minor inconvenience.

The New Dairy was a wonderful find, we were only there 3 nights but it felt like longer.
It was warm and welcoming. It was just what we needed, we have had a particularly difficult few months and we needed to recharge the batteries. It hugged us.
Next time we'll stay longer.

Beautiful and comfortable cottage . Other cottages adjacent and beside but in a way so privacy is maintained. Noise from any nearby rds wasn’t an issue . We’ve found coquet cottages to be of an excellent standard, this is the 3rd time we have booked through them
