A beautifully renovated period property located in the centre of historic Warkworth Village. Offering luxurious comforts and gorgeous decor throughout, The Old Coach House sleeps 2-3 guests in 2 bedrooms with 1 bathroom, making it ideal for couples or small families. The property is pet free. Free Wi-Fi and parking is free nearby. The beach, pubs, shops, the magnificent Warkworth Castle, and the picturesque riverbank are all within 1-10 minute walk, making The Old Coach House a wonderful Northumbrian escape.

Lovely location for simple days

Having stayed in Warkworth before, we knew that we wanted to return to be able to be near the beach and close to Amble (for the amazing vegan chocolate ice-cream from Spurelli!)

Being on one level, The Old Coach House was perfect for our 21 month old toddler. Lovely, large main bedroom and the travel cot could fit very comfortably in the second bedroom.

We moved the sofa so that we could get the high chair (kindly provided) to the table and we had brought a travel floor mat to protect the carpet.

The welcome hamper, and additional thoughtful items, were very generous.

''Why have you spent so long looking for a cottage?" asked my wife.
Thirty seconds after arrival she understood.
Ok, sunshine, great location, directions and details sent by Coquet Cottages beforehand certainly helped but the sheer quality of the property was what really did the trick.
Surprisingly spacious, every inch was spotless , tastefully decorated and extremely comfortable - with the surprising gift hamper and welcome note from the owner as an added bonus.
It really is impossible to think of anything else we could possibly have wanted.
Parking? Experience made me doubt the 'always available next to the river' claim but it was. Every time we came back there was plenty of space - literally a maximum 45 seconds from the front door..
Expensive? Very much on a par with accommodation in the area and you certainly get what you pay for...with a bit more magic on top.

As I have said, it was wonderful. We hope to come back soon.
It was lovely that the owner left such a delicious basket of goodies and also tried to get in touch during our visit.

Thank you.

Fabulous apartment situated in the heart of Warkworth.. a lovely little village with lots of places to eat and drink.
Fresh flowers and a hamper greet you on arrival at the coach house which has a lovely light and airy feel with everything you need for a comfortable short stay.

Enjoyed the stay very much - it was comfortable for us. It was very well equipped and contained everything we needed for our stay.
The heating was fine once we mastered it - it would have been more welcoming in February if some of the heating had been on. There was plenty of hot water .
Some of the bulbs in the light fittings were not working in the kitchen and bedroom. Also the clock on the landing area was not working.
