4 picturesque and individually secluded retreats in a rural location. Perfect location for exploring the unspoilt counties of Worcestershire and Herefordshire
Our 2nd stay at the Shepherds Hut, which is a good place to glamp, early November, because it is quieter, albeit a bit muddier!
We enjoyed the area, but rather than just walking like last night, we mostly just chilled and enjoyed the amenities during the day, and enjoyed the secluded hot tub in the early evening before going out to eat.
Just very relaxing!
We went for New Year's Eve and it was pure heaven. Had we not fallen asleep, we could have spent midnight in the hot tub watching fireworks going off all around us – it truly felt like my own little piece of heaven.
The setting is beautiful, with lovely walks and a really peaceful atmosphere. We discovered some great pubs nearby (we drove to them), though it would be even nicer if there were some within walking distance that are dog-friendly.
The cabin was amazing – spotless, cosy, and just lush. The staff were absolutely wonderful and couldn't have been more helpful.
Perfect in every way. ...more
The Barn at Hop pickers Rural Retreats is a lovely place to stay. The accommodation is comfortable and tastefully decorated. The kitchen is very well equipped although it is quite small. The table can seat 8 people and there is also a good size sofa and an upholstered chair. The grounds are beautiful and the games room is amazing. There is a separate toilet downstairs as well as the bathroom with shower and toilet upstairs.
