Thanks so much, this place is beautiful. The house and the gardens are stunning. We had the best stay here for my friends Hen do. Everything was perfect, the area is beautiful and we visited the local cider farm. The house really did exceed our expectations, the beds are so comfortable too which is always a plus. If you’re thinking of booking, do it!
As a family with a child with special needs and noise sensitivity, this accommodation was perfect for us. The access to the pool privately and hot tub was amazing. The well thought design of the place with lovely views of the sky in most rooms made it a very relaxing stay. Kitchen well equipped and location was handy to make several day trips within less than an hour. I would recommend to others looking to explore Somerset. Any issues were handled well by the team. We had a lovely weekend away at Hillacre House. The bedrooms are spacious and well furnished, the kitchen has lots of good equipment, and the gardens and hot tub were really well maintained. The only strange thing about the house is the doors! All the rest has been built in keeping with the period style and looks superb.
This was roughly our 25th visit to Apple Cottage which is literally our favourite place in the UK. We go there with our 2 dogs and the minute we arrive it is like home from home. Apple Cottage is surrounded by green fields every way youlook and the scenery and setting is just perfect. The added bonus of the hot tub is the icing on the cake and we are already looking forward to our next visit already booked for July I cannot recommend Apple Cottage hih enough, it is pure perfection
Booking and communication with Zoe was excellent. On arrival at The Barn, we were blown away by the attention to detail, each bedroom had robes, flip flops, towels for the pool as well as fluffy bath towels for our en-suite’s, plus chocolate! The standard of the barn was excellent with everything need in the kitchen. Shortly after arrival a member of staff popped in to see if we were ok. Sorry couldn’t remember her name! Excellent preholiday service and information. House lived up to all expectations with all the facilities a large party would need.
We had an excellent weekend at Woodlands. Fifteen members of the family with ages ranging from nineteen to eighty four and all agreed that Woodlands was the perfect venue.
This was our 3rd visit to Smokeham Farm. Each time we have been we have found the house to be very clean and well furnished. There were very few complaints from any of my family. One was about the potato peeler and one about the bed being to soft. The only other thing that was mentioned was the fridge was a bit small for hosting so many people. It is a wonderful place to visit with lots of walks & plenty to see and do when out and about in the local area. I would highly recommend staying here for large family gatherings and events.
We stayed here at the end of April for my sister in laws hen celebration. This house did not disappoint! It was better than we ever expected. The minute we drove down the drive and approached the house we were blown away! It is Surrounded by beautiful quiet country side, Great location. The house was very big and spacious, plenty of room for us 14 ladies. The grounds are gorgeous, bedrooms beautifully decorated and comfy & we loved all the hidden gems and old features that made the house unique.
