Spent a lovely week here with our 2 labradors. Cosy cottage in a fabulous location. We loved visiting Wells, Cheddar and Glastonbury and enjoyed long walks on the dog friendly beaches of Sand Bay and Brean. We also had a couple of lovely long walks along the nearby Strawberry Line. Very friendly owners on site and a fab field to excercise the dogs. Couldn't have asked for more.
We had a lovely week at Home Farm in the Hayloft cottage. It was ideal for our two greyhounds as there was a couple of fields and a footpath that was a great walk. We also climbed up to Crook peak from the farm which is well worth the effort. The coast was 30 minutes away with Cheddar gorge literally down the road. Plenty to visit from this location. The Woodborough arms pub in Winscombe was worth a couple of visits and the Inn at Cross. The cottage had everything we needed, was comfortable and was nice & cool in the heatwave.
Nice cottage and surroundings, a little pricey and narrow road to get to but worth it once there. Plenty of places to visit not far away.
