22 humans and 4 dogs stayed across the farmhouse and barn. It was absolutely delightful and thoroughly enjoyed by all. Both properties had everything we could need for our stay. The games room is an added bonus and the kids were able to roam between the properties to use it. We saw lots of cows, peacocks and bats at night. There is a little lake at the farmhouse and everyone enjoyed feeding the fish and using the rowing boat. The dogs had lots of space to run around and thanks to Sarah and James for all the dog treats! Everyone thought the barn a little Querky ,exciting,very comfortable, extremely quiet and peaceful . We all had a wonderful week the kids loved the swings , the dogs loved the garden,the only thing that let it down slightly was the cooker very slow to heat up , other than that I would recommend this to anyone . From booking through to arriving home, we were looked after wonderfully! Sarah was really communicative and generous with her time. The house was spotless, we had everything we needed and more and the photos do not do it justice. Set down a narrow winding lane, the house is off the beaten track amongst unspoilt scenery but still affords great access to local facilities. In our short stay we visited Totnes (great for coffee, independent retailers and charity shops!) and Salcombe both within easy reach.
