Little Owl is off the beaten track just enough for peace and quiet but still close to everything you need, all amenities are a short car ride away, Lidl, Morrisons, McDonalds and a couple of pubs that sell decent food, Newquay is about a mile away, The accommodation is clean and the owners are lovely people who help if asked but in general leave you to enjoy your stay, if you have dogs it is an excellent choice as there is space to let them exercise, we are going back in September as we love it.
This is the second time we have stayed in Barn Owl and we have already booked for next year ! The barn has everything you need so close to Newquay! It’s perfect for dogs, all the floors are tiles so no worrying about those muddy footprints or sandy paws. You can walk your dogs up and down the lane as very few cars use it. I would highly recommend for your next holiday in Newquay
The approach to the cottage was a sea of beautiful daffodils. The parking was nicely arranged in a courtyard. There was a courtyard garden, outside the cottages which was beautifully planted and there were picnic tables and seats. The Tawny owl cottage had good kitchen facilities although we could have done with another set of crockery and cutlery as there was nothing left to use whilst filling the dishwasher. The large sofa set was a bit awkward for 2 of our party as it was too soft and low for them to use comfortably. The beds were comfortable and the bedrooms had all the wardrobe and drawer...more
