This was our third visit to Auchteralyth and Glen Isla, having visited in 2009 and 2011. Standards are still very high, it’s a lovely bolt hole in a beautiful part of Scotland. It was our choice to spend most of the time relaxing, although there are plenty of beautiful walks round about, with copious opportunities for seeing wildlife. Anne is a gracious and thoughtful host and the wee extras were much appreciated, in particular the fresh eggs (zero food miles!) and the masks. Looking forward to our next visit,
Our 2nd visit to The Steadings and once again it did not disappoint....this is a home from home and Anne is providing a fabulous place that gladly accepts your dog or dogs whilst providing first rate accomodation.
You never know what you will find when you book a stay for the first time. This was perfect in all ways. Attention to detail for both humans and dogs brilliant and so friendly. Anne is a wonderful host. We were able to relax and really enjoy our stay.
Everything in the cottage was of high quality and the little extras for us and our labs so well thought out.
It is great to stay in a place off the beaten track, quiet, away from the hustle of life and with great views as well.
We have already booked for a break next year.

Excellent accommodation for two people wanting to escape to the countryside and ideally placed for visits to many locations in central Scotland and beyond. Outdoor activities for all ages are available. Best of all is the warm welcome and very helpful advice of the owner, Anne.
