We stayed in Treetops for a week and had the best time. The lodge is perfect, very clean and modern and quite spacious. Comfortable beds and the view from the floor to floor windows is amazing! Loved sitting out listening to the sheep chorus, and watching the birds and sometimes rabbits. On our arrival we had been left some milk and shortbread, which was very much appreciated after a long drive up. Very close to Aberfeldy, lovely little village and plenty of places to visit around the area Would definitely recommend staying here, and will hopefully come back one day. Scotland is a very beau...more
This is our 4th stay at The Stables and we’ve just booked again for next year! Suzanne and Tam have thought of everything you’ll need for a comfortable, relaxing stay. The location is superb, the facilities are excellent and the peace and quiet is everything we crave on a holiday. Within easy reach of Dunkeld, Aberfeldy and Pitlochry but just tucked away enough to have solitude. We love it!!!
Fantastic few days at Hawthorn. Very well equipped and comfortable. Great hosts. Much enjoyed. Hope to return.
Beautiful house, beautiful area. Close to Aberfeldy. We had great fun in the games room with a huge variety of things to do. Great TV.
This is our second stay at Sealladh cnoc and met all our expectations once again. Great location for outdoor enthusiasts as well as relaxing and enjoying the beautiful Loch Views. Great location for Glen Lyon, Kenmore and Aberfeldy trips.
Aberfeldy is a lovely area to explore and use as a base for your adventures. The lodge itself was nicely presented and modern with all the essentials available. We stayed 2 weeks so a change of bed linen after week one would have been nice, but we washed it ourselves once we figured out how to use the washer-dryer. The offer was not made although I suppose, we should have asked. No biggie. The smelly plug-ins were a real issue so we unplugged and hit them outside - the smell from them was quite oppressive so they had to go! The August afternoon sun heated the main room up to the mid 30's...more
Another amazing stay in Ben Lawers. The house is very comfortable, warm and well appointed. Views are great as is the location. A fantastic week.
We used to have a timeshare in Aberfeldy and know the area well. It was a nice experience returning after many years of absence. The weather was very mixed, but we took advantage of three visits to The Birks Cinema, which is well worth attending. We were fortunate to be in Aberfeldy when they were screening a live performance of Tosca from Covent Garden Opera. Dunolly cottage is in a good location with a beautiful view over the river, and in good weather time spent in the lovely garden will be a bonus. There is parking for three cars, and a shed to store any sports equipment etc, which w...more
This house has almost everything you could dream of in a holiday rental: space, light, heat, quiet, great views, comfortable beds, cleanliness, and privacy. The location was great, too, for my one-month stay; just a mile and a half from the quaint town of Aberfeldy, where there are restaurants, shops and even a 100-seat cinema! If you like to cook or bake, you’ll find every utensil you need—and some I couldn’t identify—in the well-stocked kitchen! Looking for day trips? In under two hours to the East you could be in St. Andrews; two hours to the West, you’ll be in Oban and the glorious West Co...more
We enjoyed our visit and can recommend Aberfeldy as a good centre. The house even has a piano and very well appointed with all the essentials to self cater. Only niggle no wine cork screw and a bread knife would have been handy but these are very minor quibbles! The house was clean , comfortable and welcoming tray of shortbread and essentials for a cuppa after a long drive good. Thank you
What a find! “Craigard” is a fabulous house, so comfortable and very warm, even in December. The open plan upstairs lounge/dining room/kitchen area is unbelievably spacious with the most incredible views over Loch Tay. The house is extremely well equipped and we will definitely return soon.
Aodin offers every comfort you could wish for a farmhouse of this kind, situated in a secluded location on the slopes of the Highlands. Following renovation, particular highlights include the fantastic kitchen, the dining area with its breathtaking view of the Tay Valley, and the outdoor hot tub, which also offers a fascinating view. The proximity to Aberfeldy and the seclusion of the mountain allow you to completely unwind. The housekeeper, who is always available and very friendly, rounds off the picture. We always love coming back!
We had a wonderful time at the Ghillies Cottage. The house was clean and thoughtfully decorated. Everything we needed was there. We were unfortunate enough to lock ourselves out, on one of the days, but host Angela came to the rescue right away. Thank you!
