This was our first stay in Treetops and we were not disappointed and will most certainly be returning. The lodge is on an elevated position just a short walk from Aberfeldy with the most amazing mountain views. We were very lucky with the weather during our stay and enjoyed breakfast on the deck most mornings and were treated to lovely sunsets as we enjoyed a drink or two. it was nice to put the log burner on at night just to take the chill off. The lodge we found to be spotlessly clean and well equipped and so bright and airy with all the glass windows. i loved the electric blinds. it wa...more
The Stables was a great place to stay. A lot of thoughtful touches from the host. Lovely view from the veranda. All very clean and comfortable. Peaceful and quiet. Will return!
This was our second stay at Hawthorn Cottage. We had fabulous weather so could enjoy the garden that is fully enclosed so great for the dogs. Walks are straight from the door so no need to use the car. This is a lovely area of Scotland. Jenny and Trevor are great hosts. The house is beautifully decorated and furnished and well equipped. We are already planning our third stay!
We were joined by two families and there was plenty to do for all ages. Lovely kitchen to cook in. Views stunning (enhanced by warm, sunny weather). Enjoyed Birks of Aberfeldy walk, Crannog Centre and watching kayaking in Grantly.
We had a lovely few days at Sona Brae. Had an issue with the lock at first but phoned the contact number we had and was giving some pointers which worked. Kitchen was well equipped and lodge has a luxury feel to it, the electric blinds where great. . Views were stunning and area was very peaceful. Aberfeldy was a short walk and area is dog friendly. Our dog loved his holiday especially watching the pheasants roaming about just outside the lodges. Although the door was a bit of a pain we would definitely go back.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ben Lawers and look forward to returning again soon. The most excellent holiday lodge with sweeping views of Loch Tay from its balcony, where we have stayed in the past, was still lovely and a really peaceful retreat. It is clean, comfortable, well-maintained, and in a strategic location in the heart of Scotland. A DVD player and a selection of DVDs, or access to streaming services, would enhance the guest experience, but the view more than makes up for it. Highly recommended.
Such a lovely home in a perfect location for exploring. Spotlessly clean and perfect for what we needed. We would have preferred more comfortable seating in the lounge area given I am recovering from surgery but this didn't stop us relaxing in the evenings.
Fantastic property, excellent amenities, highly recommend We have been renting the property on a 10 day shift basis for several months and cannot fault the cleanliness and homely feel. The lads love staying in a home away from home. Ease of booking and communication from Angela at Highlands Perthshire Holiday Homes is exceptional
My friends and I booked a week at Dunolly Cottage in Aberfeldy and were blown away by the view and location of the property! The patio and kitchen overlooks the River Tay and we enjoyed the fabulous weather and soaked up the views after days out in the hills. The cottage is fitted with all mod-cons and we enjoyed our stay there very much. Whilst from the outside it looks chocolate-box cottage, inside is spacious and relaxing.
What a find! “Craigard” is a fabulous house, so comfortable and very warm, even in December. The open plan upstairs lounge/dining room/kitchen area is unbelievably spacious with the most incredible views over Loch Tay. The house is extremely well equipped and we will definitely return soon.
We recently had the pleasure of returning to staying at this fantastic cottage and was thoroughly impressed. The facilities were top-notch, offering everything you could possibly need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The location was ideal, providing stunning views and easy access to nearby attractions. It's the perfect getaway spot, and I can't recommend it highly enough. Excellent in every way! Can’t wait to return!!
We have spent at least a fortnight at Aodin every year for the last 30+ and are very sad that the fantastic view, the friendly people on the estate, the entertaining space and the desire to please and improve will no longer be available to us - assuming that greater capacity equals greater cost. Nevertheless, we are very fortunate to have known Aodin since it was an architect's drawing in a brochure. This year has seen the welcome return of hares and lots of red squirrels. Thank you to everyone who has made this available us.
Lovely cottage in stunning, quiet location. Felt very homely. Ideally situated for exploring Perthshire.
