This was our first stay in Treetops and we were not disappointed and will most certainly be returning. The lodge is on an elevated position just a short walk from Aberfeldy with the most amazing mountain views. We were very lucky with the weather during our stay and enjoyed breakfast on the deck most mornings and were treated to lovely sunsets as we enjoyed a drink or two. it was nice to put the log burner on at night just to take the chill off. The lodge we found to be spotlessly clean and well equipped and so bright and airy with all the glass windows. i loved the electric blinds. it wa...more
Nice and convenient location, near enough to the local cafe and shops, and also besides the river for a country feel. Good space for 6 persons and the kitchen area very bright with lots of windows and a good view. Bedrooms are comfy, the upstairs bathroom sink a bit small but manageable. If you're visiting Perthshire, can consider this location, as you can drive out to all the local destinations, yet be close to the Aberfeldy facilities
We have stayed numerous times at the stables and as always our last stay was excellent again. Immaculate properly luxurious property with all you can ask for. Comfortable and warm and if you were cold a log burner too. Great beds and a lovely bath with a walk in shower on lower floor too. A thoroughly stocked kitchen with all so you can cook with ease. Large fridge freezer too. Walks from the door into amazing woodlands. WiFi is quite slow but is there for you use too. Will be back again for sure
Had a lovely relaxing week in Hawthorn Cottage - and had good weather for the time of year! The cottage is well equipped, well furnished and well designed! Lots of thought has been put in to it being so welcoming. Lovely owners next door who are available if needed but in no way imposing. Will definitely be back!
We were joined by two families and there was plenty to do for all ages. Lovely kitchen to cook in. Views stunning (enhanced by warm, sunny weather). Enjoyed Birks of Aberfeldy walk, Crannog Centre and watching kayaking in Grantly.
We enjoyed a fantastic week at Sona Brae. The lodge is in a beautiful location just a short walk from Aberfeldy and within easy reach of some amazing walks. Sona Brae is modern and very tastefully furnished with a well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and a lovely powerful shower, We loved sitting on the balcony watching the sunset, then heading indoors and lighting the log burner, which was very much appreciated by our dog. Our favourite walk was Kenmore Hill and we also loved the Birks of Aberfeldy and the slightly more challenging Munro Schiehallion, all only a short drive away. Aber...more
A great October stay with the family. The house is comfortable, cosy and well-equipped. We love the view of Loch Tay. There are loads of things to do and see locally. Angela’s customer service was very good. We look forward to returning.
Cottage was much bigger than expected. Wood burner is a great feature. Loads of room for us all to have our own space. Very well equipped kitchen. Cottage was spotlessly clean. Good location, easy flat walk into Aberfeldy.
Fantastic property, excellent amenities, highly recommend We have been renting the property on a 10 day shift basis for several months and cannot fault the cleanliness and homely feel. The lads love staying in a home away from home. Ease of booking and communication from Angela at Highlands Perthshire Holiday Homes is exceptional
What a find! “Craigard” is a fabulous house, so comfortable and very warm, even in December. The open plan upstairs lounge/dining room/kitchen area is unbelievably spacious with the most incredible views over Loch Tay. The house is extremely well equipped and we will definitely return soon.
We recently had the pleasure of returning to staying at this fantastic cottage and was thoroughly impressed. The facilities were top-notch, offering everything you could possibly need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The location was ideal, providing stunning views and easy access to nearby attractions. It's the perfect getaway spot, and I can't recommend it highly enough. Excellent in every way! Can’t wait to return!!
Lovely and quiet location a short distance from the road and easy to get to. Very tidy cottage overlooking woodlands. Two very comfortable bedrooms both with en-suite. Comfortable sitting room with decent height chairs. We were lucky with the weather with rain at night. Close to Highland Safaris which us a must. Amenities in Aberfeldy were good and the drive to Pitlochry was pleasant and not too long. Perth not too far away with good shopping. Edinburgh only 2 hours away. Will definitely come back.
