We have returned from a relaxing week at Marchburn. Lovely spacious accommodation. The secure garden space was a real bonus for our 2 dogs. Would happily return - especially in the summer to enjoy the outside space even more!
We have been many times to this wonderful property now and each time we are delighted to stay they. Standards remain very high and the house is a beautifully furnished , warm and comfortable place to stay. The kitchen is very well equipped which for us is essential. The property is located right in the middle of the Perthshire countryside so you can walk from the door. Suzanne the host is most welcoming and helpful. We will be back again next year and the year after for sure.
Very enjoyable family weekend - house was ideal! Very clean, well equipped and in lovely location. Would recommend!
A fabulous self catering apartment. The location is amazing, so quiet and peaceful with great views across fields and to the river, yet only a short walk into the town. The kitchen was extremely well equipped if you prefer to cook your own meals. Despite it being a one bedroom apartment the property is very spacious. Would definitely recommend.
As ever I had a wonderful week at Ben Lawers You cannot beat the views and the house itself. I have been going for many years and I am as still as impressed as my first visit Highly recommended
We enjoyed our week here with lots of lovely walks close by. The house is perfect for a family get together - plenty of space for everyone. The property also has a delightful snug - although we didn't use it!
We stayed in Dunan for a week at the end of February. The house was warm and welcoming for us and out 3 dogs. The house has everything you would need and is a home away from home. As well as the dining room and lounge there was also a small sitting room and office space. The garden is huge- much more so than is shown on the website. The house is in a very quiet residential area so is very peaceful. Dunan would be an ideal base for families, walkers and perhaps groups like golfers, cyclists/triathletes provided they don’t mind the sharing of bathroom facilities.
A great stay in a comfortable property. A few improvements would make it excellent. The mattresses are incredibly noisy and uncomfortable and the outside of the property, particularly the windows, were dirty and full of spiders and bugs which was very apparent when opening windows and doors! Other than that the facilities cannot be faulted.
The Longhouse was excellent, however, I would like to point out a couple of issues for future reference. 1. The bins in the kitchen had not been emptied. Judging by the smell, I believe they were from a Christmas/New Year occupancy. We had to clean and disinfect them before use. 2. Although the house is very dog friendly and there are some lovely extra touches for the dogs, there were two Rat Poison boxes which had not been moved to a safe position before arrival. We only discovered them when one of our dogs had her snout in it. Luckily she had not managed to eat any of the poison. Apar...more
Beautiful location and lovely house. Was ideal for a relaxing weekend away with a group of friends. Would definitely consider staying again.
We had a lovely stay in Ghillies cottage and found the location excellent, so close to Kenmore and Aberfeldy. We weren't sure if there had been a mix up with our arrival dates as, on arrivals, there were pieces of dishwasher / washing machine 'bits' left out and the house was a mere 6 degrees. However, despite this, we found the house comfortable (when we worked out how to turn on the heating!) BEAUTIFUL walks over the estate and lots of deer and badgers in our garden. Our dogs loved it too and found the hall comfy and cosy to sleep in. A really lovely stay - will be back (in warmer weathe...more
River View cottage is in a perfect location for exploring Kenmore and surrounding areas The cottage is ideal for extended families with the living accommodation on the ground floor and sleeping split between the basement and upper floor. Shall definitely be back!!
We thoroughly enjoyed our week in Aodin. The property was well equipped and clean but decor was a little tired with scuffs and marks on the paint work. The location was stunning and we enjoyed lots of walks on the estate. It is definitely worth buying an OS map for walking there as there isn't any information on walks from Aodin in the property. It is also worth noting that the downstairs den/playroom is now a dining room. There is a table and chairs in the room but no sofa or games. The TV is still in there. We did find the road up to the property a little bit anxiety inducing as t...more
