We’ve just returned from our stay at Croftness Cottage over the Christmas week and it’s safe to say that neither of us wanted to leave. The cottage is in a lovely quiet location just above the town of Aberfeldy but only a 10 minute walk to the centre, where you can either get something to eat and drink or buy essentials at the Co-Op. Our favourites are the Habitat Cafe in the square, who do a fantastic burger and also MacDonald Brothers Butchers who sell great venison pies. The cottage itself retains its original charm but has been tastefully modernised to make it extremely comfortable a...more
We loved staying at Saorsa - it is beautifully designed and furnished; it has a well equipped kitchen and plenty of room for a family of 6. It was our first Christmas week away from home and it was the perfect alternative. The welcome pack was appreciated and all property and local information was clearly laid out. The only constructive feedback we can offer is that some more easy chairs in the lounge would be good for a larger group. Overall it was excellent
We really enjoyed our stay at Ben Macdui and would look forward to staying there again. The large window was lovely to just sit and watch the changing scene over the mountains and Loch Tay. Right from arrival we found that the accommodation was so fresh and clean everywhere. The bed was unbelievably comfortable, the kitchen had everything you could possibly need. Unfortunately what let it down for comfort was the seating in the living area. The leather sofa and chair are very well used and the seat cushions are not good. It has taken me a long time to decide to send this review as I real...more
Ben Lawers provides the most idyllic holiday home you could wish for. High standard of interior comfort and decor is only surpassed by the most spectacular views of the loch and surrounding countryside.
Wee Cosy Nook exceeded our expectations .
We had a lovely stay at Tarmachan. The quality of accommodation was superb and was complete with lots of extras that made our stay most comfortable and made us feel at home. Being down by the loch was just lovely and we had the added bonus of watching red deer a couple of fields away from our balcony. We truly had a wonderful time and hope to be back in the not too distant future.
We stayed here for 6 days over New Year and had a great holiday. The cottage is clean, well furnished and cosy. It is extremely dog friendly. It is also in an excellent location as a base for walking and cycling. The nearby Inn on the Tay is within walking distance and is recommended.
This house was a gem of a find. We needed to accommodate 7 family members in total to celebrate myself and my wife's joint 70th birthdays. We couldn't have asked for a better home and location and the time spent in these beautiful surroundings have given us many treasured memories. We all loved the well proportioned rooms, the views and the gardens. The grandchildren particularly enjoyed finding all the different areas outside and watching the different birds at the feeding station. It never felt like rented accommodation, more like a friend's house and the log fire in the evening was anoth...more
We really enjoyed our stay in this fantastic house. Views were stunning and house had everything we could need to help us relax and live home from home. We will be back!
Directions to house were excellent and when we saw the house in the flesh were totally impressed. Quality of all furnishings, furniture and white goods was excellent. Hot tub fabulous. Lovely welcome pack on arrival and pint of milk. No sonos as stated due to lack of strong WiFi signal. Had a magical weekend, relaxing and in such comfortable house. Would highly recommend.
Verdi Cottage is situated in a lovely quiet spot. We loved our stay at Verdi Cottage. The cottage was clean, warm and importantly had lots of hot water! The cottage is very well equipped and lots of thought has gone into providing items for a comfortable stay. We will certainly return.
An excellent location with beautiful views. The house was immaculate and very well equipped. We will come back.
Quiet, warm house in beautiful location. Spacious - with lower ground floor bedroom and two further large bedrooms on the first floor. Enclosed garden accessible down steps from decking, very useful for responsible dog owners. Excellent kitchen facilities. Plenty of walks from the door - along the river and around Taymouth Estate which is fascinating.
Stayed in crown apartment for 4 weeks, it is well equipped and very comfortable, clean owners helpful
