This is our second time here and it was of course as the good as our first stay. Top notch furnishings with very good beds. Large bath two showers and a superbly equipped kitchen. Wonderful views from the balcony and walks on your door step. Wi fi good too. 10 mins drive to dunkeld. Have booked a third stay it's that good
Very spacious, well appointed and comfortable accommodation for 2. Top class hotel quality fixtures and furnishings. Great location for seeing this part of Scotland, and a great place to return to after a day's exploring. Would happily recommend to anyone. You won't be disappointed.
Totally recommend this property. Beautiful location. Modern and well equipped property with everything you would need for your break. Comfy and well appointed bedrooms and furniture. Fast Internet access. Fantastic location as a base for exploring Perthshire and beyond. Will be back!
Lovely house, great for gatherings with family and friends. Lots of space, warm ,well equipped with comfortable beds.
My review for cleanliness is 4.8 not 4 but there was no facility to indicate this. This is an exceptional property. The fixtures and fittings are of the highest quality and the space is comfortable for 6 people even in winter. Sadly the furniture in the sitting room space was really uncomfortable. The enclosed garden was wonderful for our two labradors. We were at the Longhouse for a month in December and we found it delightful even though daylight hours are limited in winter. Angela was approachable, professional and helpful at all times. A lovely house in a beautiful location.
A lovely home from home with nice spacious rooms and living space. Kitchen was well stocked with lots of utensils/crockery making it easy to cook in. Felt pics were a little misleading in that the road separates the house from the loch and hadn’t realised there wasn’t a garden. A lovely place though
We stayed at the Ghillies cottage for a week during mid-January 2022. Our party consisted of 3 seniors and our dog Bracken. The cottage is located approximately 3 miles south of Aberfeldy and about the same distance north of Kenmore. Sitting elevated a few hundred yards up a leafy driveway off the main road, the cottage is easily accessible with grass lawns and a small burn running down from the woodlands behind. There is ample parking to the front and side. The cottage is modern in design and very well furnished and equipped. Heating is supplied via electric units throughout which is incl...more
Absolutley perfect for us all, Location was just what we wanted as we know Kenmore and the surrounding area well. The house was extremley well equipped, warm and inviting with outside seating areas (subject to weather) at both the front and rear of the property. Cleanliness was spot on. Yes I would recommend this property to other users and I'm sure we'll be back even if its just on a short break.
The setting of the is property is second to none and the property is lovely. However, we did feel that a few things internally were overlooked and deserve a refresh. It was an informal process with no personal interaction from the agent and only a pint of milk on arrival, contrary to the image sent to us for our review, which included flowers and whisky. Whilst still in good decorative order, the decor is starting to age. The kitchen was generally well appointed but lacked matching mug and glasses sets, particularly wine glasses. The tidiness could have been better as we had to go around putti...more
The house was ideal for our family group. The house is warm and comfortable with plenty of space. It is well equipped and has great views. Although there a few houses dotted around Beinn na Ciste, the surroundings are quiet and private. We loved the games in the garage. It's a short walk into Aberfeldy with its nice shops and cafes. In addition there are lots to do/see in the wider area. We had a great week at Beinn na Ciste and are happy to recommend it. The only negative was the track to the house on leaving the main road. It's in poor condition. We managed it but others may not be keen t...more
We had a lovely stay at Bay Trees Cottage and really enjoyed our week at the property. It is situated in a small village called Butterstone near Dunkeld and was perfect for a quiet week away from the city. There isn't much at all in Butterstone (which was just what we wanted) but there are some lovely walks in and around Dunkeld. The cottage itself is beautiful. Really homely and quaint with two wood burners, lots of original features and a gorgeous cottage garden. Lots of space for our dog who had an amazing time. It was so lovely to find such a clean and beautiful dog friendly cottage. ...more
