This was our 2nd stay at Lower wood farm. Cape cottage is a 5 star accommodation located in beautiful surroundings. Lots to do nearby and on site. The games room has an abundance of toys for all ages, pool table and table tennis. The indoor swimming pool is an added bonus. We will definitely be returning.
What a wonderful holiday we had again. The cottage was home from home. Everything we could wish for was provided in the cottage. Excellent swimming pool. Beautiful garden and seating areas. This is our third holiday at Lower Wood Farm and we will be booking our next holiday very soon.
We had a lovely time at Lower Wood Farm Country Cottages, so much so that while we were there we booked to stay again next Summer, you can’t say better than that! From the moment we arrived the owners were welcoming and friendly. The complimentary afternoon tea was a lovely touch and very much enjoyed. The cottage was clean and had everything we needed. The pool is lovely, our 5 and 7 year old had lots of fun, the daily private swim slot is great. We love to arrive in Lowerwood farm to feel this personal energy of Jill! The flats are all so pretty decorated, the view over the fields is so bright. Highly recommend Lower Wood Farm cottages definitely have the wow factor! Absolutely everything you need for a fabulous family holiday. It’s very quiet and a perfect safe location. The facilities are brilliant for young children and early teens ,with bikes, footballs, pedal toys and the play barn is like a toy shop. The swimming pool is lovely and warm and well maintained. The cottages are beautifully decorated and equipped with practically everything you need for your stay. The only things we actually needed to buy were cling film, aluminium foil and extra loo rolls! This was a family birthday celebration weekend. For our family of 9 the barn was excellent accommodation with first floor living space being a feature. The swimming pool/ games room and playing field were all well used since we were fortunate to have wonderful weather for the entire weekend. The farm offers well thought out/ high quality accommodation and was particularly enjoyed by our grand children (4 and 6 years old).
We had a wonderful time in the Bramley cottage. With picturesque views and superb additions including the play barn and private swimming made, it’s the perfect location for our family break.
This place is immaculate, all the facilities are spot on , pool is amazing, games room stuffed full of toys , there’s everything you need in the kitchen . I could go on …….
