Always a pleasure to spend time at Lowerwood. Accommodation is always top class and nothing is too much trouble for Jill and her team. Our ‘go to’ place in Norfolk.
Lovely spacious cottage overlooking the large communal area and paddocks. The kitchen is well equipped, and the large screen TV in the lounge delighted the grandchildren (although there’s so much to do here it wasn’t needed a lot). An ideal grandparents large double room (also with TV) is on the first floor, as well as a twin room for the children, leaving the very large en suite room for the younger generation! This is such a great place for families with kids. Nice well-equipped accommodation, helpful staff, great facilities including a lovely indoor pool and a stunning play barn. Close to Caister and beaches as well as the Broads there were plenty of day out options too. All in all a perfect 3 generation holiday.
5 stars for everything. We will be back. The property and the farm has got everything that a family needs.
Bramley Cottage was perfect for a family of four. The children each got a separate bedroom and there was ample storage for clothes. All the kitchen appliances you could need and a comfy sofa with smart TV. Despite being a hot week the cottage was cool and we particularly enjoyed using the outdoor seating area that was nicely hidden for privacy. Perfect view of the fields from the living room with gorgeous sunsets. Having the swimming pool to ourselves each day was fabulous and everything was super clean. Thankyou Jill, Braeburn Barn was all we could have wished for. We stayed with our family for the May half term. Our grandchildren. 3-13 years old had a wonderful time. They particularly enjoyed the play barn (so well equipped for all ages) and playing fields. The indoor swimming pool was a firm favourite. The barn itself was well equipped, very clean and spacious with a wonderful open plan living/dining kitchen upper floor. Highly recommend Lower Wood Farm cottages definitely have the wow factor! Absolutely everything you need for a fabulous family holiday. It’s very quiet and a perfect safe location. The facilities are brilliant for young children and early teens ,with bikes, footballs, pedal toys and the play barn is like a toy shop. The swimming pool is lovely and warm and well maintained. The cottages are beautifully decorated and equipped with practically everything you need for your stay. The only things we actually needed to buy were cling film, aluminium foil and extra loo rolls! This was our third visit with our grandkids now 11, 10, 7, 6 which I suppose says it all. The facilities are great and the outdoor space is particularly good with young kids. The owner Jill, is very attentive and was quick to deal with any matters while we were there.
